What great food! Get The Beast Bloody Mary. The seafood was so good. Our waitress was very attentive and the decor very kitschy.

This place was highly recommended but it fell short for me. The service was very friendly but the food was mediocre. I ordered the white fish with crawfish sauce and was disappointed. It lacked flavor. I had to add salt and pepper to make it more appetizing. Also, the side options are very limited. The hush puppies, coleslaw, and swamp soup were decent. I don't think I would eat here again if in the area.

Shrimp and oyster platter with fries, puppies okra and slaw! Outstanding!

I haven't eaten for a few days due to an upset tooth but this place is worthy of chewing on one side. Started with a complimentary swamp soup that contained collards ham and beans. It was fantastic and a soothing petit bouche. I was ready to eat! Next, their 1/2 1/2 platter of shrimp, oysters, fries, okra, hushpuppies and slaw. Their oysters were some of the best cornmeal oysters ever. Hushpuppies airy, and slaw creamy good with carrot and green onions. Tartar brought to the table was homemade and chilled. My waitress Sierra P was super nice and accommodating with a few special requests providing excellent service. The open dining wasn't too noisy and there's a fun "watering" hole area that is swampy cute themed. Lots of tourists here today and locals taking a break from the ballpark! I will return with a happier tooth!

One of the standout touches is the little shop inside, filled with all kinds of great finds--soaps, mists, lotions, and even kitchen accessories. It's a fun bonus that makes the experience feel a bit more unique. We came in with a group of 16, and they were able to accommodate us in a separate space across from the main area, which worked out really well. If you're planning a visit with a large group, I'd definitely recommend calling ahead. Major shoutout to our server--she handled splitting the check six ways like a pro. Everything came out correctly and fairly close together, which is no small feat with a group our size. I ordered the mahi sandwich, and it was delicious. The bun was perfectly buttered, and the fish itself was flavorful and well-prepared. They also offer a salad bar if you're looking for something lighter. Prices are on the higher side, but that's pretty standard for seafood. Some dishes were served whole--bone-in and all--which caught a few people in our group off guard, but to me, that's usually a sign of freshness. The food did take a bit of time to come out, but given the size of our party, it was understandable. Overall, I really enjoyed our visit and would happily come back.

Our waiter was very polite and very friendly. It pains me say this, but we had awful experience with our food order. I ordered the grilled shrimp plate and husband ordered the fired oyster plate. My grilled shrimp plate, was over cooked. My husband fried oyster plate, " he found a long black hair... wrapped around one of the fried oyster". Manager took the fried oyster plate off our bill. That said, I still had a good experience overall--my wallet and cholesterol just might disagree. We showed up as a large group of 13 people with five separate checks, and our server handled it like an absolute pro. Everything was correct, and their patience at the end of a long day deserves major props. Parking was a pleasant surprise--a spacious private lot conveniently located right by the soccer fields. As for the food, we opted for the fried shrimp because everyone had talked it up. The portion looked big, but most of that was the thick breading. The shrimp inside was tiny and unfortunately lacked flavor. It wasn't bad, just bland and overshadowed by the heavy coating. The restaurant itself is huge and perfect for large parties. I definitely recommend calling ahead. They offer TVs, a salad bar, and a full range of drinks--from cocktails to beer. It's very family-friendly. Prices felt a bit high for the portion sizes, but to be fair, seafood is always on the pricier side. They do offer non-seafood options too, which is nice for anyone in your group who isn't a seafood fan

We did not like the 30 dollars worth of sweet shrimp. It does come in very generous portion if you like that type of flavor. Hush puppies were pretty darn good, light, nicely seasoned with good flavor. The Cole slaw was excellent. All portions were generous.
