Great fish tacos! Nice to have something a little different on Van Buren. Servings are always good and we keep coming back so that says something. Definitely a bonus to order on Tuesday or Sunday as they are a bit cheaper. But the fish always taste fresh and fixings with the taco add a nice crunch and some heat which I like. read more

This has become our absolute favorite taco spot. We are taco snobs. I have tried every taco joint, truck I can find Mo Val to LA. Last night they catered my daughters going away party. Glad this place opened up here in Woodcrest. Love their food, especially their fish tacos, they're great! They have carne asada quesadillas too and tortas. Their yellow peppers that come with the orders are good, not spicy at all. I dip them in salsa for a spicy flavor. read more

I will not be stepping into this place again. First and last visit. I sat at the counter as the girl filled every single order and not even acknowledging me standing there. She payed attention to everyone except me and literally made me wait for nearly 10 minutes as the line built up behind me outside the door. She scrambled for 5 minutes just trying to see if she missed some tacos on one of the orders she filled. Again, no acknowledgement whatsoever. It's clear that this place is good with the customers there, however the service gets a negative 5. You lost a valuable customer who was about to order a boatload of food. This is a new spot that replaced Vianos Pizza it's definitely a place I'll be making a trip back to. The food was awesome carne asada is very flavorful and not dry. Fish tacos are Rosarito style and remain me of ensañada. Recommend getting the salsa on the side if you can't take the heat. read more

We have ordered their shrimp ceviche platter twice now for potlucks. This stuff is soooo fresh and amazing. They provide a full package tostadas and a bottle of tapatio. My one tip: be careful how you transport it. They put it in a large foil tin with cover and a box but unfortunately it still leaked on my seat and my car smelled for a bit Definitely not their fault, but the next time I bought a larger tin and placed it inside and over a towel. Better for transport....my new go to for potlucks when I'm lazy. read more

Food is good. Attention to detail is lacking. 3 times now my orders have been messed up and missing food items, and I don't notice until I get home because the orders are large. When I called to get it figured out I get hung up on. So then I have to drive back each time wasting gas and time, while having all of the other food get cold. Extremely frustrating situation. Yet, I keep returning because the food tastes good. Guess I'll never learn. Well, now I'm off to eat my room temp 20 minutes old rice, beans, and taco. Wish me luck. read more

Always pass by this place on my way home! And I never came here.... It was a surprise how good this place actually is and I'm super picky when it comes to asada tacos but these were sooooo good! Doesn't look like much from the outside. But I've got a rule. If it looks like a hole in the wall from the outside you have a good chance of getting some really good food. Tuesdays and Saturdays are $1.75 fish tacos and they're definitely worth your money. We ordered 21 of them between six of us and it was gone in about five minutes. It was extremely delicious and it's a welcome restaurant to the area. We also got the shrimp tacos which were very delicious. I forgot to take a picture of our to go package before we demolished it. But managed to take a picture of our very photogenic fish tacos before finishing the last box. Highly recommend for anyone to go out and try. read more

This place has terrible customer service and over priced for there portions. You order a $9.75 burrito and if you don't want beans or rice there brains short circuit and the burrito ends up being $13.00 and the burrito is half the size. The meat taste like they soaked it in pure lime juice. What ever happened to taking care of your customers when they chose to come to your restaurant and spend there money with your business. After 5 visits now time to write a review. My first visit ordered seafood tostada it's about 18$ it was really good plenty of seafood. The second and third time I ordered a shrimp burrito 10.95 + tax, scale of 1-10 I give it a 6.5 good value too. The fourth time I had the fish tacos they were right on the only down fall is I believe they use tilapia and a lot of talapia comes from China. On my fifth time I ordered a shrimp burrito and two shrimp tacos. The shrimp tacos were right on I would definitely get the shrimp tacos over the fish tacos. The shrimp burrito that I was supposed to get was actually a fish burrito again I could taste the tilapia and it tasted like dirty Lake water I forced myself to eat it and I gave the last quarter to my dog. A scale on 1 to 10 for the fish burrito I give it a 3. My overall experiences is I will only order shrimp tacos and the seafood mix tostada. I have not tried everything on the menu but what I have ordered those will only be the two items that I will return for. read more
