As much as I would love to gate-keep this place it just wouldn't be fair for y'all not to try it. Our server was a younger girl who could use better customer service training but she wasn't the worst. I had the lobster meal deal. The house sauce is amazing!! The oysters were top tier! I can't wait to go back!

First time visiting and the place was packed so I honestly expected the service to be slow but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was great and the service was even better. Joyce is incredibly kind and made sure not just we were taken care of but everyone around us as well. You don't see that level of customer service much these days. I'll definitely be back.

We went right when the doors opened, and we're so glad we did! This place is definitely a hot spot and for good reason. We ordered two cocktails, an appetizer, and our main course. They had a Valentine's Day special, which actually runs on most major holidays. It takes about $8 off their Lobster Tail Special, which is a nice deal! I ordered the Pink Barbie cocktail and loved it. the Malibu base gave it a smooth, not overly sweet taste. One was definitely enough! My partner got the classic Hurricane, which was way too sweet for our liking but did come in a cute glass. For an appetizer, we got half a dozen oysters for $12. I'm not an oyster fan, but visually, they were huge. According to my partner, they were incredibly fresh and the best he's had to date, which says a lot since he's more of a food critic than I am! For our main course, we each got a seafood boil with the house sauce (a mix of Cajun, garlic butter, and lemon pepper) at the 'hot' spice level. As our awesome waiter Jason described, the spiciness definitely lingers on your lips! We were absolutely impressed with the freshness of the seafood and enjoyed a feast of shrimp, lobster, crab, potatoes, and corn. Overall, we'd love to return and share a seafood boil next time--it was more than enough for one person! The quality was excellent, and we can't wait to go back.

Cajun fries, Mexican candy shot. Personal #6, house seasoning, hot.

This is my 3rd time here. As always the good is fantastic and comes out hot and fresh. Service is great. This place doesn't disappoint, great price. $40 total not including tip. #6 personal plate, Cajun fries and Mexican candy shot.

First Time Here! It was amazing! We even made it for Happy Hour! I had the mango margarita with a tajin rim. We tried the mozz sticks and buffalo wings as appetizers. I ordered the personal 5 Cajun season. It's affordable and good. Our server Joyce was great. I will be going back just to see her.

Delicious place! And very affordable for seafood. And I love love love that they have happy hour everyday from 3-7pm, the happy hour options for drinks & food are great! We really enjoyed the fried catfish & fries. The calamari was ok. But I look forward to going back

Great place...Great customer service by waiter and manager, making sure everything is good...Good taste and good consistency... Food Is always tasting good and fresh and hot... the vibe is good and accommodating.

Menu and of course my fingers..

This is a great seafood place and on prior occasions, I never encountered a problem. I was seated in the bar area and the waiter/bartender (Cody)was not service friendly. I had to asked 4 different times for items of which didn't get the plastic gloves and I resorted to napkins while eating a seafood boil! What disturbed me most was his attention to others. I even noticed another person of color, who was being treated in the same manner. He wasn't that busy, he had his mental issues focused on particular individuals rather than everyone. This was very sad to see unfold, as this was once my favorite places.

The bar is lit in a way that makes you want to stay and chat. The only thing lovelier than the bartenders (that have been the same for years) was the loveliest companion that accompanied me most recently, and held such a wonderful conversation. There is a lot to the atmosphere here, both inside and outside, with the inside feeling like an intimate event, and the patio being a party starter. They often have live acoustic music outside, but it isn't brash or overwhelming. Usually one person and a guitar with a small amp. Nothing crazy. I haven't had pizza in one million years, but if I were going to break the streak it would be here. It's got a real artisan feel and taste that can't be beat. If you dine in, I recall they had the bread strips they bring out - GREAT stuff. If you aren't sure what to get, go for that Texas Mule. Tito's...Ginger Beer... need I say more? If you live here and haven't been here - you are missing out. If you are passing through, stop in. It's a "go-to" for me the two times I am in Plano each year. I might have to simply go visit again just for the experience and company.

The staff is always friendly and pleasant, and you can tell they genuinely enjoy working here. There are plenty of seating options: a cozy bar area, three separate dining rooms, a large patio with its own bar, and even picnic tables out back. I think the upstairs may be reserved for private events. Every time I visit, I end up ordering the same thing because it's just that good--the Naked Chicken three-piece. Absolutely delicious! I'm also glad they now offer two sides with your entrée for a small extra charge. The mac & cheese and green beans are both amazing. I've tried a cocktail or two, but usually skip them since the portions are small for the price. Overall, this is such a fun, charming spot with consistently great food. Definitely one of my go-to favorites! Add it to the Love List

Brick and Bones Backyard is a blue house on the corner of Main St. in Rowlett, Tx, that has been transformed into something magical. This Mexican-Inspired "chicken shop" is offering fried & rotisserie chicken, classic cocktails, and live music in a rustic setting. The menu is diverse and offering all things chicken that is brined 24 hours, fried and can be order breaded or naked( for the gluten-free in you). They also have rotisserie chicken, tenders, sandwiches, salads, bowls and wings, along with unique sides. Poblano mashed potatoes, habanero mac n cheese, mexican corn, etc... often garnished with fresh radish and cilantro around out the menu, with top notch service to boot. Mi marido ordered the breaded fried chicken, mexican corn and poblano mashed potatoes and gravy. The chicken was well seasoned with a great crunch. The potatoes had good flavor, but were barely warm. I can imagine their greatness heated. The mexican corn on the other hand was the real elote deal! The fresh snap of sweet corn, dosed with cotija cheese and spices lives up to the hype! Sweet, spicy, savory, it hit all the flavor profiles. I had the naked chicken with an order crinkle fries(faves) which was greatly appreciated for it's gluten-freeness and flavor. However, it was abit overcooked. Which left it thready and a little dry. The sauce that accompanied it, was needed, but shouldn't have been, while the fries were fresh, but undercooked. The concept and flavors make Brick & Bone standout on the chicken front. Better execution can make it a cut above the rest. Check It Out!

I went specifically for their signature dish (the one they proudly call themselves the "Home of the Chicken Fried Brisket"), and it delivered exactly what everyone raves about. They take a thick, oak-smoked brisket slice--already juicy, tender, and loaded with smoky flavor and perfect bark--then coat it in a craft-beer batter and fry it up. The crust comes out shatter-crisp and golden, never greasy or soggy, while the brisket inside stays beefy and moist. That peppery burnt-end gravy poured over the top is rich, savory, and ties everything together beautifully with a scoop of skin-on mashed potatoes on the side. It's pure Texas comfort food genius--smoky BBQ meets Southern fried steak in the best possible way. I'd order it again in a heartbeat (it's a Tuesday special or weekend brunch treat, so plan accordingly). The rest of the BBQ holds up just as strong. Their regular brisket (flat and point) is consistently juicy, tender, and smoky with that killer bark everyone mentions. Sides and other meats are solid too--no weak links. The house beers are fantastic and pair perfectly with the rich, smoky food (the rustic, woodsy vibe in the historic downtown Garland spot makes it even better for lingering over a pint). Service is friendly and the whole place just feels welcoming. If you're in Garland or nearby and love bold Texas BBQ with a creative twist, Intrinsic is a must. The chicken-fried brisket alone is worth the trip--don't sleep on it! Highly recommend for anyone who wants great smoked meats, great beer, and something uniquely delicious
