I ever see this big blue crab before, the manage, Ken told us this is biggest blue crab and it's from Louisiana. Our first visit tonight! Loved the look of the place. The food was really good! We had the calamari appetizer... which turned out to be a very good choice. I had blackened catfish with steamed rice and Cajun potatoes. The potato's were spicy and took a minute to feel the heat. The one thing I would like to see change is how quiet it was in the restaurant. No music in the background or sound from the many TVs. They have a very nice bar and plenty of sports on television so I can see us going over for a couple of drinks fairly often since we live so close. Gave 5 stars on 1st visit. On second visit just a few days later they changed the menu. All fried dishes mostly. The calamari was priced a little lower but wasn't nearly as good as the first visit. We haven't been back. We'll try again after a few more reviews are posted to see if it's improved. read more

I ordered the combo #2 through DoorDash. It was delivered just fine. However, my order did not include the potatoes or corn that come with meal. So I ordered a meal that didn't come with included sides! My husband eats the sides, as basically the meal! Also, it was very salty. Too salty. I'm hoping tomorrow to reheat the leftovers in water and hope it reduces the amount of the salt flavoring. It was my first time trying this place out, I'm a big lover of seafood. I felt like they only tossed my food in the sauce. I ordered the special that had I have a pound of shrimp, too crabs, and one potato and one corn and I added extra potato and extra corn. The flavor wasn't inside of the shrimp it was really on the outside. Also, the shrimp came headless which wasn't a big deal but i would have preferred the head on. Flavoring was a little salty. We were gone for maybe 5 minutes and the staff bussed our full table of food and management freaked out on us thinking we were dining and dashing. I told the hostess we would be right back, just stepping outside to smoke. I was very annoyed with our food being taken away so I paid the extremely overpriced bill and left. Don't plan on returning. Decided to try this place since it was new. The raw oysters were huge and delicious. We also had the fried shrimp and fried oyster baskets. Both very tasty. I do wish the fries were fresh cut, but I did enjoy the Cajun seasoning that they use. I do wish they had salads on the menu. At least a side salad as an option.
