Always a solid choice! Great prices, friendly staff and good food. A comfortable place to hang out with a good mix of regulars and great neighborhood vibe. Plenty of TVs including a few outdoor TVs on the back patio/bar area.

I love fishers grill. I don't always remember to come here when I'm looking for something to eat but I need to make a note or something. This place is local and a great place to grab a bite to eat and a drink. The food is fantastic pub food at amazing affordable prices! Give the a try!

I came here Easter Sunday with my family after strolling through a garden my mom wanted to check out. I loved how they had so many different sport history and memorabilia's from the past on the walls! This would definitely be a local spot to check out the games for the day in season. The staff were pretty friendly. We grabbed a light beer and got chicken tenders for the table. You can season your tenders with any spice including Cajun and bbq. The establishment was overall welcoming and they have an outside patio too to eat at. They have a decent menu of sandwiches of all sorts. Not a bad steal for $10! We weren't that hungry so we didn't get any.

Sandwich served piping hot and delicious. Side of horsey sauce was full of horseradish and tasty. Recommend a visit.

Fishers is always a good time. The food is great. They have a small patio out front, tvs for sports fans, parking on the side and in the back. It can get a little loud, the vibe is causal and sporty. They only offer bar service, but will bring your food to you if they have time. They do get really busy at lunch so if you're on a time clock you may want to call in your order ahead of time.

Fishers Grille was my first stop in Greensboro. I first found it when it was one of the few places open on a holiday weekend. It was much busier this visit but not super crowded. I did go at an off time. Service was friendly this visit when I placed my order at the bar. I'm not sure which burger I ordered but even with the fries it was just $10. It was a good size and tasty. The fries were even a generous portion. Fishers Grille will be one of my first stops in December.

Really enjoyed my time here ^_^ the ambience is so nice and the food was pretty good for their price! I would definitely recommend the southwest burger :] they even had a trivia screen for us to play while waiting! the whole place kind of reminds me of Bobs Burgers xD

We walked inside, received a quick happy greeting and got seated. Lots of conversations, laughter, joy in the air. The menu is Great... super simple and easy to follow. Ordered French dip and tuna sandwich. Yum! This is an order at the bar and find a seat. Lots of people here on a Saturday afternoon. The bar was hopping and the staff was super efficient. It was a pleasure to watch. There is memorabilia of sports all over the walls, pennant flags , local and out of state. Gold tin ceiling. It's dark inside but friendly, fast and fabulous. They have shirts and hats available which I purchased for my son's birthday... this place was established my son's birth year.

A late Costco run brought us to finding a spot to grab dinner before heading back home. Yelp never fails to come through with some good suggestions for places when you are in a new part of town. This place is super casual with a big bar on one side with tables on the other. The menu is a chalkboard posted on the wall and you order at the bar. It's been a long while since I had a French dip so that is what I got. My husband got two hot dogs. We also ordered a side of onion rings because the reviews on them said they were hand battered and I couldn't miss out on that. Service was fast and food was hot when it came out. The French dip was delightful and just what I was craving. The hot dogs were good. Nothing amazing but a solid dog. Toppings were plentiful. Unfortunately, the onion rings we were so looking forward to completely missed the mark. They weren't hand battered but instead a frozen premade type. They were very crunchy and almost too hard to eat. My husband ended up eating just one and deeming the rest "not worth the calories". Obviously they have changed them since they first began making them. Possibly due to being too labor intensive. I still enjoyed my sandwich and the vibe there. The menu is so vast I'd go and try other things.

We stopped here to stretch our legs and to rest for a spell. This small little spot was packed. It took me a minute to realize we could sit ourselves and that we had to order at the bar. The restrooms are single/gender use. Hubby ordered the Sicilian w/ a side of potato salad, and I had the Club w/ a side of fries. Everything was cooked good. I got the vibe it is like a sports bar since NC A&T is around the corner. Overall everyone was welcoming and the food was spot on. If we ever find ourselves back in NC then we will stop in again.

Solid food, below average service. Evens out to a 3/5 for me. We went in after a horrible experience with Macs Speed Shop and walked in hoping to get some food to eat. This is less of a "grille" as it is a bar that also serves food. We walked in and there's a huge chalkboard with the food options - the prices are really cheap. Like other reviews have said, we sat and waited for like 20 mins before anyone even glanced our way. In the meantime, we got stared down by everyone at the bar. This is TOTALLY a local spot, and I would venture to call it a locals-ONLY spot. We did not feel welcome. The bartender eventually waved me over after I tried to catch her eye for like 15 mins and was ignored. We put in our food and went outside to eat. The onion rings were incredible, and the rest of the food was really good. It is bar food so don't expect the best quality but damn this place is not afraid of seasoning. Their hot sauce seems homemade and is the bomb. Food was awesome and super cheap too. Overall I probably wouldn't be back. I'm not from here anyway but if you're in the area I'd probably go somewhere else and leave the locals who eat here alone.

Great mushroom Swiss burger. All food is fresh and consistent. Not your typical fried bar food. Great salads, sandwiches, wings and burgers.

That's the way it was for us and Taproom, a long time Greensboro pub on Battleground Avenue. The last time we stopped by was pre-pandemic. Prior to Covid we had been somewhat regulars, visiting every couple of months. As we walked in, it was as if we had entered a time machine. Nothing aesthetically had changed. That's a good thing because Taproom exuded the comfortable dark wood intimate setting that it is always enjoyed. We wanted a little bar food and a couple of adult beverages. At the suggestion of the bartender, we split a Caesar salad as well as a Black and Bleu black flatbread. The Caesar salad is a classic and was very satisfying. Can't say it is special, but it is simply delicious. The flatbread was a lot of fun. It comes with olive oil, caramelized, onion, crumbled bleu cheese, mozzarella, and balsamic glaze. We added blackened fillet tips as our protein. My only complaint is I should've ordered two. The flatbread is incredibly satisfying and the beef tips were savory, tender, and flavorful. I went old-school on the drink. I had a 20 ounce Guinness, while my wife had a mule. Both were spot on and worked really well with the food we had. Everything was very affordable as well. Taproom is loud and feels neighborly. I reviewed it nine years ago and I'm changing nothing. I highly recommend a visit if you're looking for drinks and pub food in a classic environment.

What an improvement!!…read more I haven't been here in a few years and the last concert had us waiting outside in line for hours. And hours. It was miserable. The show started late and I still don't even know what the reason was. There was no communication. But that was then. I was so pleasantly surprised when the doors opened right on time and while we waited in line, security came around and checked everyone to expedite the process. It was smooth sailing from there, absolutely nothing negative I could say! We had a front row spot, the sound was awesome, the bands were incredible. Great venue, cool disco ball, sweet lights. All around good experience. Hope it stays this way!!

I don't think they are enforcing the purse or bag policy. I got smacked and pushed around by lots of purses that were clearly larger and not clear. Aside from that, the air wasn't working properly and we were all dripping in sweat. Friendly staff last night even though they were clueless about the parking.
