This place is inconsistent and recently, I received the most painful massage ever. They use elbows to dig into your skin! I told the guy to use less pressure but it didn't change much. This is one of the best deals I have received for a massage. It's definitely a different experience (clothes on, everyone in the same room) than I am used to, but I left feeling much more relaxed than when I came in. Before I even talk about the experience itself, I want to mention that it was very easy to make an appointment. Usually when a business offers a deal they fill up so quickly that it's hard to get in. Not so, I called Friday morning and was able to schedule an appointment for 6pm the same day. I have a lot of back problems, especially in my shoulders. The knots there never go away, no matter what anyone does. I think that the massage therapist may have been a little frustrated that he could not defeat them. He was very aggressive when he reached them and it definitely loosened them up, but I've accepted that they will never really be human shoulders. There was a lot of shiastu from my masseuse; so if you don't like having the tension slapped out of you this probably isn't the best place for your massage. I recently bought a Groupon for a Reflexology foot massage. Not only do they massage your feet but they also massage your body. I will NEVER GO BACK!! I get regular massages ( about 6 a year) and I have never been in such pain in my life!! I asked him repeatedly to be gentle but he kept painfully giving me my massage!! If we would have been in a room by ourselves I would have yelled at him to STOP, but since everyone is lined up in one room I didn't want to disturb the other patrons. Went to redeem my Groupon on the last possible day, in true Laura fashion. They were able to fit me in with no problem, which was appreciated. I wouldn't purchase their Groupon or Yelp deal since the actual price of the one-hour service seems to be $28, not $65 or whatever the value was supposed to be. I believe this is actually Groupon's bad for not figuring this out, which should have been somewhat obvious, and it's hard to fault these guys for trying to get the word out there. Normally I would knock off another star for something like that, but I believe I got a great deal, so I'll leave it at 4. I'm not sure of my masseuse's name, but he was great! Another reviewer mentioned that after leaving, she felt as if she had robbed the place, and I now see what she meant. For only $28, you get a looong (mine was at least an hour, quite possibly more) massage that rivals one I would get in a "regular" spa. To be quite honest, I actually preferred this one -- my masseuse wasn't afraid to use some pressure and force, and he really loosened up some tight spots in my back and neck aslong with relaxing me. The $28 special is broken into two parts: half an hour on your legs and feet, and half an hour on your back/neck/spine/arms. I actually spent about 1/2 of the foot and leg portion pinching myself to avoid laughing (it was super quiet and serene, so that would have been awkward!) or worse, kicking him in the face. If you are ticklish, I would definitely let them know ahead of time! Haha. I also would have preferred more pressure on my achey legs for this part, although I suppose you could possibly request that ahead of time as well. All in all though, I'd probably skip this part next time and opt for the chair massage instead. The chair massage was heavenly. They sit you up (you will have been laying down with a blanket over your body and face) recline the chair, and have you turn over onto your stomach. I felt like he was actually trying here and not just going through the motions, and did a great job keeping the massage "even" on both sides, if that makes sense. I wish I knew the guys name, but he was a sweet older guy and very friendly when it was time to go, grabbing my shoes and purse for me. They charged me a $1 credit card fee to tip since I had already pre-paid with the Groupon, but that was totally my fault for not bringing cash. Rookie mistake! A word to the wise, he did work on my glutes, upper hamstrings, and back of my hips, which I was totally okay with since they always tend to be super tight, but if you're uncomfortable with this, I'd also let them know ahead of time. Definitely a nice treat that didn't feel overly-indulgent due to the price. Also nice that you can keep your clothes on and head out right away. This review is the result of my first visit to Fit Foot. I bought a Yelp coupon which was $28 for $65 value. However, the "value" is not a true amount in the bank available for any purchase. This coupon was specifically for a one hour massage. It so happens that the business already offers this "special" without purchasing a coupon from Yelp. I was OK with this even though the coupon purchase does not explain this. I arrived a few minutes late and as a result I had a few minutes wait. I actually had an appointment for both my girlfriend and I and we were both seated in the massage sofas next to each other. I've never had a massage like this: in a group setting where other people were being massaged at the same time but it did not bother me much as I understood that this was a therapeutic massage whose main focus was on foot reflexology. The bonus was the the massage included head, neck, face, upper and lower back and leg massage as well. By far, the foot massage was the main focus. To begin the massage your feet will soak in tepid water prepping them for the massage. My masseuse was a male and was very polite and had a lot of strength. When I needed him to back off (showing a slight discomfort at the level of pressure) he did. I think for the "special" that is offered, or the coupon on Yelp, this is an excellent deal and great experience. Don't hesitate to try this type of massage and make Fit Foot your choice. read more

I'm 32 weeks pregnant and decided Fit Foot sounded about like exactly what I needed- a foot focus with massaging also for the scalp, neck, back and arms. My guy today was absolutely amazing and extremely accommodating to me being pregnant without me ever having to say anything. He propped me up for the scalp and foot part, and massaged my neck/back by putting me on my side versus laying on my stomach. Another thing I loved was that I got there at 12:02 (my massage was for noon) and I was back and ready to go at 12:10. He then started the clock at 12:10 and I got the FULL hour. I've recently paid triple the amount for a massage and due to them running late, I literally got cheated out of 15 minutes of my hour. This place is a hidden gem! Went here for first time, had a 1-hour foot massage followed by 1-hour back massage. I love the interior. It's very soothing, despite the fact that you are in a large room with a bunch of other fully clothed people getting massages. They do have chair massages in another room, too. The music and low light is very soothing, and the masseurs are all very quiet. I really liked it and didn't find it weird at all. The only thing I would really appreciate is something for your lower back while you are on your back for the long foot massage. Maybe something for under the knees, or a lumbar pillow. I was dying to get off my back. But having said that, the foot massage is awesome. I have sensitive feet, and even I could handle it. I mean, I am a girl who takes 2 Advil prior to a pedicure, and whose feet usually bleed during a pedicure. And I loved the foot massage! Hard at times, soothing for most of it. Wonderfully relaxing, my feet feel great. I will definitely be returning. After that, I rolled onto my stomach and had the roughest back massage I have ever had. And I liked it. Came here for the first time this week. This is not your fancy salon where you get your private room and robe. You stay fully dressed (except shoes and socks) and sit / lay down in a fully reclined chair in a room with about 20 of such chairs. During the hour, you lay down with a blanket put over you and your feet get soaked while your head, neck and shoulder massage begins. They move on to your feet and calves and ends with you flipping over to get your full back massaged. This is not your typical Swedish massage, it is an extra deep tissue - a traditional Chinese massage! They will get every knot out of your back and shoulders and then some. Afterwards, you will feel so relaxed, loose, comfortable, relief ... Remember to tip at the original cost of $65 and not the $28 - these guys deserve it! Just went there again. The only thing that has changed the size of the neckline on my shirt. If you've been there, then you know. They put lotion on their hand, then reach down your back through the neckline of your shirt to massage your upper back. So you get lotion on your clothes and a stretched out neck opening on your shirt. It's almost too weird to be real but it happens. Every. Time. Not a big deal because I was prepared for it by wearing a shirt that basically now has a cowl neck. :) My star rating is the same because everything is the same. Many of the therapists do not speak English so you will need to talk to the front desk upon arrival if you would like a softer touch. I, however, LOVE that they really work each section out. Need a low price massage? This is the place to go. Don't go here expecting a royal treatment with candles and your own private room. Not for the $28 deal that is. It's a communal room with big comfy chair set up in a line where other people Are getting massages. You may hear people groaning while they are getting their massage. It's something to giggle about. One time I heard some guy snoring next to me. You keep your clothes on while one person massages you. They spend 30 minutes on your feet and 30 minutes on the rest of your body. They will submerge your feet in hot water so if you're wearing jeans make sure they are loose enough to roll Up to your knees. And these guys will get rough so if you're a little bit more sensitive like me and my 105lb bony self, let them know beforehand not to massage too hard. And if it starts hurting, let them know! These guys are on a routine and your face is gonna be covered so they won't see your expressions. They are going to massage your butt! Definitely wasn't expecting it to happen but they did it. I used to love this place and was a regular. The last time I went, though, the guy I had didn't seem to have much of a technique--and his finger literally touched my crotch twice. I was lying on my stomach and he kept pulling my t-shirt down and "adjusting" it as though to cover my bottom (why? I don't know why, as I was fully clothed and didn't need covering...) and yeah, his finger lingered too long, and definitely touched my behind and crotch two different times. I didn't say anything to him or management, but after thinking about it, I think something should be said. At the very least, if there wasn't a malicious intent, they could train the masseuses to use a bit more care, especially in the vicinity that is clearly not within the normal course of business. I miss that place and would love to have a regular go-to spot, but every time I think about going back I get the icks. Fit Foot - it's a hidden massage gem. Don't let the name fool you, this place isn't just some sort of pedicure place. For their standard hour deal they start you off with a foot massage and then proceed to work the rest of your body over. I've been to a few message places, some of which have really put me off because I felt I was invading some sort of princess palace where I was asked to put on a tiny robe and shoes that were never meant to fit a size 13. This place could not be more different. It's totally welcoming. You'll see equal numbers of chics and dudes getting worked over at the same time in a large, clean, communal space. Considering their prices, their hour long foot and body massage is an incredible value. If you can live with shutting off your cell for an hour (please!) I suggest that you give it a shot. read more

I've spent hundred of dollars on mediocre massages, but by the end of the 60 minutes, my massage therapist was panting. The guy that gave me the $28/hour massage of feet and body, not only used an adequate amount of strength, but also check with me on whether it feels alright (In Chinese tho, dunno how well are their English). But be aware that it can be a little bit painful, as that is an essential part of oriental massage on acupoints. What a experience! My daughter and I scheduled a 1 hr. appointment together. We were greeted as soon as we walked in by 2 cheery,young ladies and quickly whisked away by our masseuse. You are brought into 1 of 2 rooms lined with sooped up lazy boys that turn into a massage chair as well. I love very, hard pressure in a massage and that's what I got! Jerry was awesome not afraid to get intense on my stressed out areas. Wear loose fitting comfortable clothes, take your jewelry off.
