Honey packets that look way too old to use.
    Matt M.

I normally don't leave bad reviews. But poor customer service is pet pet peeve, My receipt says Bethany P but who knows if that was the person. The female drive thru person was short, not helpful, forgot to give me a receipt, then slowly poked her head out like I was annoying her and didn't say anything...and so I asked for a receipt and honey, She handed me what looks like 9yr old honey packets and didn't say anything like "here you go" have a great day, no smile.... Nada. Container for my salad decent. My salad was good. Quinoa was fluffy and the lemons zesty vinaigrette was ok. Drive thru was clean. Hopefully this person has a happy new year later today.

I'm so sad cuz I really love the walnut chicken wrap. But I had asked for NO cranberries and it's like they put extra... here's just what came out of half my wrap. I couldn't even finish it. Would also like to suggest another alternative for almond milk. Many people are allergic to nuts. Whole milk or even oat milk would be great!

Bakersfield bowl added jalapeno, avo, and green onion

I am so glad I found this gem! I just found out I was pregnant, so of course eating healthy is a big one for me. I googled healthy food near me to find a drive through with meal prep style food?!? YES! The menu is really neat, tons of options. I asked a million questions and the lady inside was super helpful. I got the Bakersfield bowl (brown rice, black beans, salsa, ground Turkey, etc. I added green onion, avo, and roasted jalapeno. It was $14 and worth every Penny. That one bowl could feed 3 plus meals, it's HUGE. Best part is it is only 6 minutes from my house. Going again today with my mom to try a wrap or salad or plate out.

This is the toast I got ..

I really love this place .. the girls are so sweet .. honestly the staff is great .. but whoever's in that kitchen needs to portion correctly .. honestly got home from ordering the hummus toast like I always get and for the past couple months it's getting skimpy and skimpy .. the toast is the size of my palm .. a teeny bit bigger .. barley humus the avocado is barely there , hardly and feta .. it makes me sad .. I love this place but cmon guys .. and the price is too much for this little

This was our first time visiting Stack's Cafe after talking about trying it for a few weeks. We…read morefinally made it in around noon and were seated right away. The restaurant has an open kitchen concept, which we were actually excited about since you can see everything being prepared. Unfortunately, that's where things went wrong. We were seated right in front of the kitchen, and my wife began noticing some concerning food safety issues from one of the cooks. She observed him handling ready to eat, cooked food with his bare hands, including picking up avocado from her California omelette so another cook could add cheese underneath. Shortly after, she saw him rub his nose and continue working without washing his hands. The final straw was watching him grab a pinch of scrambled eggs from a plate on the hot line and eat it with his fingers. At that point, we were completely turned off. We had already placed our order, but there was no way we were going to eat after seeing that. My wife went to the counter and let the server know what she had witnessed, and we left. It's disappointing because the menu looked great and we were really looking forward to trying this place. I'm not sure how this behavior isn't being noticed or addressed by other staff, but based on what we saw, it didn't seem like a one-time thing. I hope management takes this seriously, reviews their cameras, and reinforces proper food safety standards.

Our waitress was very sweet and friendly, but it seemed like she could use a little more training or help staying organized. We waited quite a while just to place our order. Meanwhile, two tables that were seated after us had already ordered, received their food, and were eating while we were still waiting. The experience was disappointing, but I hope the service improves because the food was definitely worth coming back for.

The vibes in the new space are absolutely immaculate. There is so much more energy here, and the decorations are incredibly cute. It's the perfect backdrop for a killer meal. The Main Event: This time around, I went with the En Fuego Burger. This beast is loaded with a chile-spiced beef patty, pepperjack, sharp cheddar, thick-cut bacon, chipotle mayo, pepper relish, pickled jalapeños, and a mountain of fried jalapeños + onion strings. The Flavor Profile: This burger delivers on every level, but those fried onion strings were to die for. For the side, I got the sweet potato fries, which are served as big, thick-cut wedges. They come paired with a duo of spicy ketchup and a marshmallow dipping sauce. Switching between the two was amazing, the marshmallow sauce actually makes the fries feel like a dessert. The Drink: To wash it all down, I ordered the basil lemonade, and omg, I need to figure out how to recreate this at home. It's exactly what it sounds like, crisp, refreshing lemonade with a perfect herbal basil finish. The Verdict: If you loved their old spot, the new location takes everything to the next level. Between the upgraded atmosphere, the dessert-like fries, and that refreshing lemonade, I will absolutely be coming back here again and again.

The second was almond butter and banana with cocoa nibs, honey, and cinnamon. The third was Nutella and hazelnuts topped with strawberries and coconut flakes. They were all delicious, but my favorite was definitely the Nutella and hazelnut toast. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and the variety made it fun to share and try different combinations. Service was quick and friendly. The ambiance is a cute cafe vibe. You place order at the counter and someone brings your order to your table. Smitten is definitely a must-visit spot when downtown for breakfast.

SMITTENS STAPLE IS THEIR ABILITY TO MISS THE FLAVOR IN EVER SINGLE DISH…read more Update: coming back after some palate development... smitten is one of the most tasteless restaurants in town. Their hype was definitely due to the 'aesthetic'. Nothing is really outstanding to me. The drinks are such a let down, the coffee is borderline yuck.. do not recommend. Everything is quite unmemorable. Service is whatever, sometimes mid, sometimes bad. Nothing outstanding. Ambiance.... well... this one has been replicated one too many times. The food is heavily missing flavor, the hummus is disgusting. I can't believe they call that thing hummus, it's an insult to actual dish.. it's almost like it was trying to imitate the real dish, but failed terribly in even attempting to. Their pizza tasted like play-doh and looked very pale. Smitten is at least consistent with one thing, which is their staple: no flavor. One of the breaking points for me was being served food that had someone's HAIR. The restaurant is very expensive for the poor experience they have to offer. I stopped recommending them a long time ago.
