It's hard to find something you don't like about Five Guys. The burgers are juicy, made to order with whatever toppings you like. The generous portions of fresh cut fries are reminiscent of summers on the boardwalk. It's not a fancy establishment, but always clean and the staff is over the top friendly. The only thing I'm not wild about is the 80's music although I'm sure the marketing gurus researched what their target audience likes in music. I don't have the same taste in music as the typical 18-54 demographic apparently. But it won't stop me from frequenting Five Guys - it's my favorite local burger joint -- and I love burgers! read more

Good burgers, good toppings and fast service. I did order my burger WELL DONE, as I know that bacteria festers in ground meat unlike ordering a steak rare, which is safe since the bacteria is burned off when the steak hits the grill-ground meat the bacteria is ground throughout. My burger came pink and I decided not to send it back because I was hungry. They say they have hte BEST fries-I thought the fries were too overcooked and not made properly. Real french fries are deepfried twice-once to seal the fries then a second fry to crisp them. I can't understand how they claim to have the best fries? Overall, I would go back. read more

This was the 4th 5 guys I've been to (Dickson City,PA, Conshohocken, PA,Allentown,PA) and this place was the cleanest and run with military precision. The kitchen staff answers orders in unison. We did not order fries at this location but the burger was good as usual. I think the best part of 5 Guys is all the burger toppings they offer. Give it 4 stars based on comparisons to similar type burger places (Johnny Rockets..). Also a few tables outside which is nice. read more

If your craving a decent burger and fries, look no further. Add condiments from a nice sized list, of your choosing. Of course you have to get fries, a boatload of fries to go with your burger. And they have vinegar too, for those of us who find that irresistible! Service was quick and the food was consistent with what we've had both here and at other Five Guys locations. Things good with THIS five guys. -Floor was clean -soda was good -fries where good The bad things -took me 10 mins to get a burger. (all I had was mayo and ketchup) -while waiting a went to the bath room and there was piss all over the seat and floor. -I heard the people working on my food cursing and talking about sex and so forth. -when I got my food my burger was over cooked and I don't mean well done I mean there was gissal and burt stuff on it like the grill hadn't been cleaned all day. Most five guys are good places to eat. But after what I had here I'll be making sure me and my friends never go to this one again. read more

This place is awesome. I probably walked in at 9:40pm on a Wednesday, close to closing time, but even though it was late and fairly empty they were still going strong, I didn't feel like I was inconveniencing them at all. I'm really picky about burgers, I have to really be having a craving to want to get one, and the burger here absolutely hit the spot. It was cheap and big (I guess their "regular burger" has two patties so a "little" burger is really a normal sized one). All of the toppings are included in the price of the burger, no matter what you want on it. I went takeout-style and it was ready pretty quick. Since this place opened a few months ago all I've been hearing are rave reviews, so before heading over to Coca Cola Park for an Iron Pigs game last night, I decided to make a quick stop and try the place out - To end it right here, It didn't live up to the hype. (Obviously I didn't end it with that, so please, read on...) The atmosphere in the place is very loud and busy. I walked in right at 6:30 and there was about 4 or 5 people waiting in line ahead of me, which, with 2 registers open only amounted to about a 5 minute wait to order - which I was fine with, I had been told the place gets packed and to expect a line. (I should point out that I must have randomly hit a good time because when I got my food, the line had grown to stretch halfway through the restaurant and pretty much stayed that way until I left.) Now, for the menu: Burgers, Hot Dogs, Fries - That's IT. I ordered 2 of their "Little Cheeseburgers", which turned out to be the size of a typical Fast Food cheeseburger, so I could only imagine what the regular size was. They have like, 15 or so toppings to pick from, which was unique. I always appreciate a variety of choices, but when it comes down to it, I like my burgers pretty plain, so while this is nice, it didn't help me much. After ordering you are shuffled down to the end of the counter where you wait to hear your order number called. It took pretty long to get our food, and there were several numbers after us who got theirs first, so that upset me a little, but once we finally got everything it was easy to find a place to sit. I must say, I somehow missed the giant boxes of peanuts sitting around everywhere that you can take for free, and I was really upset about it. If I would have seen them and got to munch of peanuts during the wait, I might have given this review 4 stars.. Eh, Probably not. Anyway, I was expecting to bite into this burger and experience heaven, from what I had been hearing, but in reality? It was OK, That's it. No fireworks, No choir singing in the background, it was just OK. About 5 bites in I realized that it tasted like something familiar, then, it came to me! I was eating a $3+ version of the Wendy's 99 Cent Double Stack Cheeseburger, minus the 2nd pattie. Seriously, it was the EXACT SAME TASTE. Now, don't get me wrong, if I have to eat a Fast Food cheeseburger, I would choose the Wendy's Double Stack, but I'd rather pay 99 Cents and not have to drive all the way to Allentown for it. There were 2 of us, and together we ordered my 2 Little Cheeseburgers, 2 Hot Dogs, Fries and a Soda; the bill came to well over $20, which was a bit much for glorified fast food. My boyfriend, who considers himself a Hot Dog and French Fry connoisseur had the same reaction as me: "It's Okay". So here I am today, anxiously awaiting a reasonable hour so I can call every one of these people who ranted and raved about 5 Guys to find out what they thought was so special about it, because after leaving last night, I was pretty content with not going back anytime soon. read more

The food was as expected and the staff was friendly. The problem was there was no one in charge of the place. The tables were filthy, there was no bacon, the ketchup was empty and the men's room was out of paper towels. They really need to get their act together at this location. read more

This place has the cleanest bathrooms and dining areas!! I've seen them wipe down the highchairs with bleach and wash every table and drink bar!! The people that work here are always so happy!! Great place to eat the BEST burger and fries!!!! read more

They should have called it 5 guys burgers & grease. Some of the most unappetizing fries and burgers I've ever had. I should have seen what kind of food was served here when they gave me my order and the bag was soaked completely through with grease. I opened it and the grease was just dripping from everything. Great juicy burgers and fries. Went in and promptly greeted by associate. Very clean place, associate cleaned the floor and tables twice while we very there. Gave us huge number of fries for a medium serving. A little costly ($27) for two double burgers fries and drinks. You get pretty good number of topping for burgers- just about anything you can think of. We don't eat a lot of burgers but they were very tasty and juicy. We will be back. read more

Alright, tonight I went to this location and was discriminated by one of the employees. There was two employees working when I asked if they were hiring. The one employee did not know, so he asked the other one. He came over, looked at my pregnant stomach and smile, then said no. This was direct discrimination against me and me being pregnant. This upset me so much that I stormed out leaving my brother and boyfriend in there. Also, I found out from my brother that the manger said they were hiring. I cannot believe the nerve of some people. Let me start by saying that ive had 5 guys many times and typically LOVE it. But i recently moved to a new town and tried this particular five guys for the first time, it was terrible. To start, my burger was missing 4 out of 7 topping i ordered (lettuce, tomato, mayo and pickles) My husband got a double burger which was more like a burger and a half, and they were so greasy our rolls were soggy. The fries were drenched in salt. I think i now have heart disease. We were terribly disappointed. I am the type of person who never complains about food. I have worked in restaurants for over 10 years but we called the customer service number with our complaints about the quality of this restaurant and were told it would be passed on to the owner/manager. We never heard another word from them. They obviously dont care at all about the quality of their food or their customers. I will never return to this particular store again. read more
