My burger of choice is double patty bacon cheeseburger with grilled jalepenos, mushrooms, and onions and ketchup. The Cherry Shake is tasty too. Fries are good as well. I found the hired help to be friendly. This place has always been consistent for the 4-5 times I have been there. read more

Yes yes yes! I love this place. I ordered take out last Saturday and everything we ordered should be called delicious. Our order was huge. I had about 8-10 people to order for. We had both French fries and they are were tasty. We also has an array of cheeseburgers bacon,the works and then plain burgers. All of them were perfectly cooked and put together great! The soda machine is amazing while I was waiting I had to try that bad boy out lol. The customer service was absolutely perfect the group was extremely pleasant and friendly. The music playing in the place wasn't loud. But let's be honest here, the prices are a bit high for the sizes of the burgers that would be my only negative remark about this place other than that it was all prefect and the wait time was short and had a few laughs with the people that work here! read more

I never had Five Guys, so today I decided to give it a try. When I ordered, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. I was wondering why it was so expensive for 2 burgers because I thought fries and drinks would come with the burger, it appears not. This isn't your average Burger King or McDonald's. Anyways, the burger was ok, it wasn't the best. The bun was soggy. The burger literary broke apart as I was munching on it. I did not like fries. I've had way better fries. It was too seasoned to the point where they're not enjoyable because they were too salty/seasoned. Other than that, everything seemed to be fine. The place was clean and neat, the music was way too loud. I could barely hear my friend over the phone. I give it a 3 stars. It's very pricey, though. read more

Honestly this is my first time trying from this location I usually go to the one near rout one and there was a hair con my burger and the fries were super soggy and oily. First time coming to Five Guys in Chelsea. The food is delicious and the service is exceptional. I arrived about five minutes before closing time, the door was already locked so I thought they would leave it at that, but on the contrary, they opened the door for me, took my order, gave me huge portions of fries and were extremely friendly! I love the bacon cheeseburger in a lettuce wrap, fresh tasty and great for a hangover but with less guilt. The staff is bleh, not very polite and pretty unprofessional but it is fast food and high school kids so you can't ask for quality service. This place is also very clean and they staff is constantly cleaning and sweeping. Near a Marshall's and Market Basket so it's a great bit to grab when running errands. I stopping in here because eating lunch or dinner here prevents me from shopping hungry and getting things like flan at Market Basket. I usually get a hot dog, which I like better than the burgers or fries. Much better than the location in Saugus, not quite up to par with Swampscott. Still love their food, and its a bit bigger inside that others seem. They have one of those new cool soda machines. This place is always fast and consistently good. Usually wouldn't write reviews for fast casual restaurants but had great experience the other night. Was Thursday 9/18. The busiest night I have ever seen there. The manger seemed a little flustered but absolutely busted it out taking orders and helping make food. The team looked focused and even jovial under pressure. As a GM of a fast casual place I just need to give this guy kudos. Would hire him in a second if I could. read more

These guys have among the best French fries I have ever had. And they give you more than you expect for your order. I love how they show you where they get their potatoes from too. Unlike any fast food burger chain they give a damn about how your burger is prepared. Made to order and fast food don't usually mix but it does here. Excellently done. read more

I must say, when I looked at the name of the burger joint, I didn't want to eat there. The name just doesn't turn on at all. Anyway, my significant other ate there had some leftovers and gave some to me. After I had the leftovers I was so pleased I have a hard time staying away from this type of food. Wendy's was my number one location but now Five Guys is my number one location there just a little bit too pricey for me. But that doesn't stop me from eating this amazing cheap food. Have been coming to this place since it opened. Only recently did I notice the activity at the cook top. I guess he was new and was being trained on cooking the patties. Saw him press the life out of the patties as they cooked. When I received my burger, I wasn't surprised to find it bone dry. Fortunately, the toppings helped kept it from becoming a choke hazard. Maybe this was an isolated incident, but if he's being trained to cook their patties, I'm going to be increasingly suspicious of the quality of my burger. He's breaking a cardinal burger grilling rule - don't squeeze the juices out of it! Fries and soda fountain are still the best. Would I go back? I've been to this Five Guys a few times and it was fair, but today it was an epic fail. I ordered a little patty with onions, mustard, and pickles, which consisted of more onions than burger. But, the kicker is when I was ordering they actually allowed people to sit their dog on a table in a restaurant where food is served. ON THE TABLE. Clearly not a service dog, just a dog on the table. Probably one of the worst Five Guys locations I've ever been to. I don't think I've been there once without them messing up my order. I'll order a simple double cheeseburger and I'll get a single burger with multiple different toppings I didn't order. Ordering french fries is also a mess. I always order a regular cajun fry and every time they have failed to get that right and always give me a regular fry instead. When I bring this to their attention, they do give me a small container of the cajun seasoning to put on myself. I love five guys but this is one location I won't be going to anymore. read more

Very fast and friendly service. Portions were huge. We had the hamburger and fries. Everything was fresh and was delicious. Only thing is the fries were too salty and we couldn't finish them. Large selection of iced teas and sodas. Music was a bit loud which made conversation rather difficult.
