The el diablo burger packed an explosive punch that set my mouth ablaze. The pepper jack and onions help with the flavor of the beef, which was itself delicious, and the sauces added complexity to the heat. Be warned that this burger is really spicy but I think the flavor of is pretty well done for a burger. All in all, worth trying again but the blemish of that shake is pretty sad for such a nice flavor.

Immediately was directed to owner (Bryson) for inquiry. He was point of contact for the rest of time being. He is hands on during the planning to day of event, it was him & two of his staff serving. Food was so delicious. Our menu was tofu poke, huli huli chicken, pork kulua, all the sides, salads and toppings, spam musubi, tofu inari. They're absolutely delicious and one of the best food deals you'll find in the South Bay. Their Spam musubi is also fantastic and definitely worth trying. I've eaten at just about every poke spot in the South Bay, and Ali'i Hawaiian Grill is the one I keep coming back to. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out. What I loved most about 5 Guys? You get to eat peanuts while you wait for your burger. Their fries are awesome. I wanted to treat myself for a change. During the week I eat salads, whole wheat breads, fruits and non-fat yogurt. It was Sunday damnit, and I wanted a bacon cheeseburger. It was my first time at 5 Guys and my experience was average. A couple of weeks ago, a really old employee was walking around the the restaurant not wearing a mask, none of the other employees told him anything. Today, there was a teenager walking around the other customers wearing a mask down on his chin...employee at the front desk did not tell him anything, even though he clearly noticed it. My partner and I got exceptional service from Cynthia (I hope I remembered the name correctly). She took care of us from the beginning to the end, delivering exceptional service! She introduced herself, was loud and clear, checked on us many times, and offered to refill our bottomless items. It was clear that she cared about our experience. Cynthia left a strong positive impression on us (and by extension, this location as well). We felt appreciated as a customer! This is an exemplar example of what I'd expect when dining out. I ended up ordering the Royal Red Robin as well as the pretzel milkshake to help wash those burger and fries down. The burger itself was pretty solid and was topped with both an egg and some bacon that both tasted solid. The chocolate pretzel milkshake was pretty good as well, and it's always nice getting the cup on the side filled with the remaining ice cream. Now, one of the big reasons you come to Red Robin is for the bottomless french fries with the tasty seasoning, but thats also the main reason this trip kind of sucked. Once our food was served, we gobbled the first plate of french fries up pretty quickly and immediately asked for some refills that didn't come for 45 minutes.......you read that right, 45 minutes for two small plates that maybe had 15 fries on them a piece. Needless to say, we tapped out out of frustration and just paid and left. Overall, you generally know what you are getting when you come to a chain like Red Robin and you are here exactly for those things. The food was just as solid as it always was, but the lack of service which appeared to be from the kitchen instead of our waitress was a huge disappointment and left us not caring to return to this location in the future. But hey, Red Robin is still Red Robin so if you want it, it's here.
