3.5 Tried Five Guys for the first time during a pit stop on our way from Tampa to Miami. I added grilled onions and mushrooms to the burger. It was a very good fast food burger and was quite satisfying. I like that their fries and fresh cut, but I only really like the thinner, crispier ones with the skin on them. The small was a very generous portion, definitely enough for two. Kudos to them for numbering the sandwiches to correspond with the order on the receipt. Efficient and helpful. read more

Ordered online for pick up. First time I've been to this location. The order took twice as long as we were told even though there was no one in line, no one was waiting and only two people were eating inside. We brought our order for 4 home and every single item we ordered was wrong. Not one item was correct-- literally all three burgers and one grilled cheese. Wrong toppings, and missing upgrades. Our order stapled to the bag was correct so it's not like they gave me the wrong one. How do you screw up every single item? read more

Recently visited 5-Guys at the Forum in Ft. Myers. First time trying the coffee shake, and WOW what a shake! It was awesome and satisfying. We had fun with the crew and one of the managers there looked at us and we said we're watching you kiddingly. I think he may have thought we were health inspectors enjoying a meal there, however, what transpired next was truly 'text book' 'Serv Safe' behaviors! It was entertaining to watch everyone there put on their protective gloves (needed for safe food handling mind you!) and also wash their hands. Also, the equipment was sanitized during our visit, nearly every inch! Keep up the good work and THANK you for practicing FOOD SAFETY to the "T". We had fun! read more

What a well run establishment. Staff super friendly, food was fantastic and they have coke products!!!! (Big deal to use Coca Cola people). Very happy to see a brand that isn't trying to skimp on toppings or charge for every little side. Way to go five guys! read more

First time customer,and didn't know what to expect. I was shocked when I ordered, and saw that a over $7 burger came with nothing else. $25 for 2 people to eat at a burger joint, ridiculous. I can get a burger that's just as good at Culver's, and much cheaper, and they bring the food to you. Not sure I'll be back. I only gave it 3 stars because it was good bugger. read more

Ordered two cheese burgers and a regular Cajun fry on online order for a pick up at 9:45pm and placed it 30 minutes before the pick up time. Orders still wasn't ready yet. I'm not sure what all the fuss is about this place.....the burgers are excessively greasy and the fries are oily and limp.......and yes, I fully understand that one doesn't consider nutritional value when ordering this type of fare, but this calorie bomb is so not worth it. My husband and I LOVE Five Guys! Compared to a Whopper or Big Mac it's definitely hands down better and fresher tasting. We are also both HUGE fans of IN-N-OUT being that I am from the West Coast. Both are very similar in the sense that their menus are very easy to navigate as well as they don't have a ton of options so it's easier to choose! I do have to say I wish we did have IN-N-OUT Burger but since we don't it's great to have Five Guys as an option when craving a burger. I do find that their prices are a bit high compared to most burger places who have dollar menus now but we find that just getting a burger is usually enough to fill us up unless we are super hungry then we go for the double patty. We have had their fries a handful of times but we definitely enjoy their burgers better! Oh and those of you who are dieting or counting calories this ISN'T the place for you. It's scary to look at the Nutritional Information!!! After reading it myself it has to definitely be a special occasion when considering eating here. read more

I guess for a burger place, it's okay, but definitely not worth the rave reviews the chain gets everywhere. Specifically to this store, The service is always great, friendly and fast. The menu is small and basic,but that's okay. It a burger place so you don't expect much more. The burgers themselves are good, if you like the thin style patty. I do like that you can choose your toppings (I would just rather have a thick burger like at Red Robin). The French fries are fresh cut and really good. Coke products are a bonus! The "sin of waste" trumped the "sin of gluttony." Only if you like fries so soaked with grease they are limp would I recommend Five Guys' fries. I had been shopping at the "Forum" Shopping Plaza (extreme East Fort Myers on Colonial Blvd) when I felt my blood sugar level dropping. I am a type II, non-insulin-dependent, diabetic. The closest eatery was Five Guys. I was impressed by the order/cashier gentleman's enthusiasm. He was friendly, cheerful, smiled, made eye contact, listened carefully to my choices of burger toppings from the long list of options available for a super customized burger. I found out their usual burger consists of 2 patties; I chose to get a single patty burger, regular size fries, and a cup for my choice of fountain drink. While my order was being prepared I munched on some of their complimentary help-yourself, plentiful and handy salted peanuts-in-the-shell. I watched the members of the crew - each keeping very busy; even when one member didn't have a direct customer-related task she cleaned the table tops and swept the floor. The number of choices of drinks at the fountain was quite generous. Some drinks there I've never seen at other restaurants. I am a person who prefers a more quiet place to eat, and not having a dining partner, I chose to sit outside at a table with an open sun umbrella. Nice atmosphere on a beautiful day. My customized burger, with the toppings I had chosen, I thought was very tasty. However, the fries were a major disappointment for me. The fries of their "regular size" were too many for me to eat at one sitting. Now, here is the crux of my experience and review: Five Guys fries are not to my liking. They are so soaked in grease that they are limp. I've never used so many napkins during a burger-n-fries meal before. I understand that there are people who are keen on such soggy fries and they would enjoy Five Guys fries, but I just couldn't ingest them. I loathe being wasteful, and believing if I were to put them in my toaster oven the next day, I may not have to feel the guilt of waste. The following day I did use my toaster oven in an attempt to make Five Guys fries palatable for me. The result: the "sin of waste" trumped the "sin of gluttony."
