Their lettuce wrap burgers are safe for Celiacs! Every time I've went and declared an allergy, they clean the line and take it seriously.
    Damian L.

My love of burgers knows almost no bounds. My recent diagnosis of Celiac, however, does. To still have a place to go and get burgers and fries from in a safe environment is nothing short of a burger godsend. --Food: The last few times I've went, I've ordered a bacon cheeseburger with onions, pickles, ketchup, and mustard on a lettuce wrap. With a little fries / cajun fries. The burgers are always super delicious and the lettuce wrap does make a suitable burger holder and honestly isn't that much more messy than a normal bun. The burgers are juicy and flavorful and the toppings always delicious. I think I like the regular fries more than the cajun, actually, but both of them are great! Oh, if you're wondering what size fries to get, get the smallest. They give you a small cup filled, but the fries that are located outside of said cup that are in the bag easily equal or surpass that amount, so pay no heed to the actual size of the cup. *Just about everything at Five Guys is gluten free, minus the bun and some of the milkshake options. Their fryer is dedicated to fries and they don't have other breaded items there, so they're also safe to eat.* --Cost: If you're pressed for cash, you probably shouldn't come to Five Guys if you want a quick burger. A bacon cheeseburger and little fries end up costing $12+. I'm not saying the quality does stand for itself, it does, but as a fast food place, it doesn't have fast food prices. --Atmosphere: The inside at this location is pretty large with a wide spread of tables and waiting areas. The tables are almost always clean when I go, which is impressive since it's almost always reasonably busy. --Service: Having gluten free menu items is one thing, but actually providing a reasonably safe environment for people with allergies / diseases is another. All times I've went, when I get a lettuce wrap, they ask if it's Allergy or Preference, and upon answering Allergy, they have the entire line change their gloves and wipe down the prep area. While I personally don't have extreme digestive symptoms like some Celiacs do, but my sister, who does, eats at Five Guys and doesn't get symptoms. --Overall: Celiac friendliness aside, Five Guys is still a great place to go if you like burgers and fries. I had went in the past and had burgers with buns and liked them just the same. Not optimal if you're trying to save some money, but definitely check it out if you haven't been and want to try a good place for burgers.

Little cheeseburger and little cajun fries!

Pretty good for a quick burger when you dont feel like sitting in a restaurant but also dont want fast food. Everything is cooked to order. The food is fresh and tastes delicious. The little cheeseburger is more than enough to fill me up! They also give you a ton of fries even with the smallest size. They are a little on the soft side, so if you like something crispy, you probably wouldnt like these. I love that you can order online, making it super easy! The only issue I had was I ordered extra lettuce for my burger but they barely gave me any, I wouldnt have even considered it regular lettuce.

    Love peanuts...plentiful! !

Ready for goodness! I wanted to take a break from eating clean. And what better place to go but to Five Guys!! A nice, juicy, mouth-watering, cooked to perfection hamburger and fries. This was my first time at this location, but I hadn't visited Five Guys in years. So worth the wait and the cheat meal!!! I had a hamburger, but I should have ordered the little hamburger. The hamburger has 2 patties and the little hamburger only 1. Now that I'm thinking about it, 1 patty would have been plenty. But nooooo I went all in!! This place is sure to please the belly some kinda happy. The restaurant was cleanier than most. Not many peanut shells on the ground. The order taker swept the floor in between orders...used her time wisely. I like that...an employee who works. But aside from that, this food is pricey, but the burger and fries was superb and worth the cost! If you don't mind spending $7.00 definitely stop by here and have a meal.

Food is pretty good, but it is only a hamburger. Staff are friendly enough, but come on - $26 for a burger, fries and a milkshake!!!

It had a perfect amount of sauce throughout. My bf got the half rack of ribs, but sadly they were tough and almost impossible to cook, he didnt even eat it it was so fatty and tough. for that price he was disappointed because it was not cheap. The sweet potato fries and the potato salad was delicious though. If we were to come back, it would not be for the ribs, but to try something else. Cheese steak is amazing but sadly for a bbq place the ribs were not cooked correctly. Service was great though!

The big Philly is my favorite here. I can't even have cheese like that but I risk it for this Philly cheesesteak. I've had a few in RVA but no other cheesesteak is as good as Hogshead. The meat is seasoned just right and the cooper American cheese really gives it that extra ump!!!!! My friends loved their Big Boner which is their epic hot dog... it was shared between 5 people! And one friend who ordered the Hogs burger felt like she was in heaven. And the lobster bisque was also good. BUT MY MOST FAVORITE was the catfish nuggets. Matthew, my server, recommended them and rightfully so!!!! It was amazing and crispy AF. And the homemade lemonade also was my favorite... so dang fresh and sour!!! This is the place to be if you want to eat out with a lot of friends or family. The servings are plentiful and can easily be shared in your party.

I had the braised beef short ribs, which were melt-in-your -mouth. Paired with garlic mashed potatoes, roasted root veg, and some of the best collard greens I've ever had. He had the fried chicken with hot honey, garlic mashed potatoes, and more collard greens. That fried chicken was so crispy and delicious. Had the peach cobbler bread pudding for dessert, and it was an EXPERIENCE. The only thing that would have made the meal better was some of the slab bacon, but we'll know to come for breakfast or lunch for that next time!

Farm and Oak has been on my list and I finally made it!…read more My husband and I wanted to have lunch out and picked Farm and Oak because we haven't visited this restaurant. They have a very limited menu at lunch so you have a few appetizers to choose from, a few salads and sandwiches and burgers, so straight up American food. It does skew southern with crab cake sandwich, pimento cheese and fried chicken. For an appetizer we decided to try the wings. They were good and came with ranch drizzled over the wings. For entrees my husband got their farm & oak burger with Cole slaw and I got their wedge salad with fried chicken. Both were good. The salad was nice and cold and crisp, which was appreciated on such a hot day. It did have too much dressing so next time I might ask for less dressing or have it on the side. I enjoyed the food, service was good and it is a pretty restaurant. I'll probably come back for supper some time to try some of their more in-depth meals.
