On Saturday, 7 Dec, I ordered a meal via Uber Eats at 7:21 pm. I received a message saying that it would be ready at 8:05 pm. Fine. Shortly after 8:05 pm, I received a message saying my meal would be delivered around 8:45 pm THEN 8:55 pm, that's almost 2 freaking hours! It wasn't even prepared! I wasn't sure what was going on so I called the driver, no response. I proceeded to canx my ordered. The meal has not even left the facility but saying "being prepared." Being prepared for almost 2 hours. I canceled my order and was still charged. This isn't fair! You're 15 min away! I understand that it gets busy, but almost 2 hours is unacceptable. I WILL NOT order from here or use Uber Eats again. I should have ordered from the Odenton location, I've never had problems there.

I have loved five guys since I first tried it many years ago at one of the first stores in Northern Virginia. I still really love their burgers and their fries are incredible. I really like that I can add as many toppings as I want for no extra cost, I'm kind of a kitchen sink guy when it comes to piling it on! I will never get over how many french fries they give you, and I can never finish them all even though they are that good!

Curbside is offered and they have interior signs at the store saying curbside is available, yet when I place my order online and select curbside pickup, every time I arrive and call, they ask if I can come in to pick it up? Doesn't sound like curbside to me. Guess it's my constant reminder to stop eating out so much. ‍ This location used to be so much better.

Service is a little slow. We had to wait for someone to wait on us while there was two people behind the counter calling for someone else to wait on us. The young lady that waited on us was very professional and nice. Only thing we seen was wrong was the slow service.

Yum yum! Love this place! Great big burgers made to order. Service was good too. 1 order of fries can easily feed 4 people.

You can tell people really like this place. Lots of options on the menu. I went with the classic Eggs Benedict, which here comes with an interesting twist -- they add cheddar cheese. That was new to me. My daughter ordered the Belgian waffle with sausage. They didn't ask patty or link, so we rolled the dice -- it came as links, and she wasted no time eating them. The waffle filled her up quickly. Fresh blueberries on top, crispy on the outside, airy on the inside, and sweet in all the right ways. When my Eggs Benedict arrived, it looked a little small at first and the potatoes barely filled the plate. But don't let that fool you. What a flavor. What a presentation. The hollandaise was perfect -- thick enough that it barely dripped off the muffins. Once the creamy yolk broke and mixed into that sauce, it was game over. The cheddar addition actually works, giving the whole dish another layer of richness. This is top-tier classic Benedict. Coffee was solid, the atmosphere cozy, and the pricing surprised me in a good way. My daughter's meal was $5.99, with only a $0.75 upcharge for juice, which is hard to beat these days. Good service, good food, and a comfortable place to sit down and eat. We'll definitely be back!!!

I recommend making a reservation if you're coming on a weekend morning. They had beignets as a special and those were tasty. A little crunch on the outside and fluffy on the inside with powdered sugar on top. I ordered the corned beef hash and it was ok. Service was lackluster. We did not see our waitress after the food arrived and had to flag someone down to ask for the check. There was no butter in the table for toast- we asked a food runner in lieu of the waitress but did not get it.

No shade, but just always kinda looked abandoned / empty from the outside in passing. Last night, however, I had a hankering for onion rings. And not the beer battered or bread crumb kind; specifically the hand battered kind they used to have at Popeyes or at TGI Fridays in the 90s. The kind that's super crumbly and has little crunchy bits and craggles. So, scrolling through Doordash, I stumble upon the beauties they serve at Gino's. When I tell you these were the crispiest, most seasoned, delicate, crunchiest onion rings I've had, I mean it. Truthfully. My god. Sure I might have paid extra because it was Doordash *and* because I paid a long distance fee (Gino's is about 10 miles away from where I live in Arnold), but I would *gladly* pay extra to have this delivered to my house. Like... even not piping hot due to the travel time these onion rings slapped. I also got the "super Gino's burger" -- not gonna lie, the menu is a tad confusing online and maybe the experience is easier to discern between this and the regular "big Gino" in person at the restaurant. However, the patties are cooked to order and they use real beef. Tasted like a burger you would get at a family cookout with all the fixings and not a generic fast food burger. I also appreciate that they took the time to read the special requests on my order which means the service there is top notch. I look forward to eating here in person in the future and am adding this to my list of hometown gems.

We started with Potato Cakes with crème fraiche, they had a nice crunch, a tender interior with subtle flavor. I'd never had them with crème fraiche, it was a nice change and the mild tanginess with the creamy texture complimented the Cakes well. I ordered the Main Street with Weisswurst, a Pretzel and plain Spätzle. It was my first, the veal's flavor is understated in comparison to Bratwurst or Knackwurst (not on the menu) and was a pleasant changeup. The Pretzel was little disappointing while it was a decent pretzel, it lacked the crisp crust and distinctive flavor I expected. As evident by the rating while worthy of note, it's not a game changer. I'd ordered a large plain Spätzle, which was two regular portions, but was served Spätzle with cheese I tasted it and it wasn't my thing, which is not to say it was bad, I just don't care for cheese in dishes like that. Our server swapped one cheese for plain (my wife had happily stolen the other) and enjoyed the replacement. I found that the grilled onions gave it a nice homey flavor. Mistakes happen and it turned out to be a win in the end. We shared a couple of desserts and by far, my favorite was the Black Forest Cupcake. It's on the large side, they might be able to cut on the weighty crème icing, the chocolate cake and soaked cherries were a delight. The cherries are a significant improvement over the Marchinos I had before, if only there were more. Rathskeller can get a little loud, as it is a relatively small space with hard surfaces so voices reflect, it wasn't packed this afternoon, so it wasn't an issue. Waitstaff dresses very casually, it pleasant and fairly attentive.

If you walked in blind, you honestly wouldn't even guess they specialize in seafood -- that's how clean and fresh the environment felt. Major points for that alone. Now let's get into the food. I started with the cream of crab soup. The portion was solid and there were huge chunks of crab throughout, which I definitely appreciated. However, the base itself just wasn't to my liking. The crab was there, but the flavor profile didn't quite hit for me. For my entrée, I ordered the oyster platter with two sides -- regular fries and coleslaw -- and added a shrimp basket because when you're at a seafood spot, you might as well go all in. The meal definitely satisfied my hunger, but if I'm being honest, it tasted more boxed and frozen than freshly battered. That homemade, crispy, just-dropped-in-the-fryer feel wasn't quite there. On the bright side, the fries were good -- hot, crisp, and dependable. The coleslaw was exactly how I like it: balanced, not too sweet, not too heavy on the mayo. Where they truly shine is customer service. The staff was accommodating, friendly, and very helpful throughout the visit. Service can make or break a dining experience, and they definitely delivered on that front. Overall, while this visit didn't completely wow me food-wise, the cleanliness and service alone are enough for me to give them another shot. I'll be back to try something different and will happily update my review. Stay tuned.
