Have a 3 yr old that decided he needed to poop as we left the house.... so of course I was super late to pick up my food... by the time I made it there I was like 30 min late so I asked very politely if they would remake my order I offered to pay extra and I apologized.!! Alright sooooo......... LOVE. (Ignore my check in at the other location off westheimer and gessner, wrong location) I goto *WESTCHASE There's nothing NOT to like about this place. The burgers are pure grub.YUM. It's not gourmet, but thats not what its intended to be. It's a step up from any other fast food chains. Burger holds well together, doesnt fall apart, despite the ALL THE WAY toppings, but I would avoid tomatos bc it gets soggy. The Cajun season fries are a MUST. Dont get regular, boring. One order of fries is good to share with 2 people, they load them up, and dont cheap out on anything here. Service is pretty good, I was surprised to have some employees ask if I wanted napkins/ refil. BUT i guess not too surprising when you think about paying $12 for a combo. This location has a GREAT patio area outside also. No need to spend $$$ going to a resto, come here sit back on the patio and get 2 burgers split fries, 2 drink for under $20 and you will loveeee it. These burgers are amazing and they are very generous with their fries. The bacon cheeseburger is by far my favorite. The meat and the cheese accompany each other better than peanut butter and jelly. And to top it off the crispy bacon adds a different dynamic to the burger I definitely recommend this place to anyone that craves GOOD burgers read more

I like their Cajun fries. 5 guys has always been a bit pricey for what you get. But their burgers are always made to order, you know "fresh". But I was just a bit disappointed today, when the buns on my burger came out a bit soggy. I'm not sure if the sogginess came from the grilled mushrooms and onions, but I still ate of course. maybe I'll try it without grilled mushrooms and grilled onions next time. But for now, 4 stars. 25 minutes for a hamburger with no fries. One person waiting for their food and the place is almost empty. The workers are yelling and laughing but not working. Typical Houston restaurant, a bunch of people not thinking of others and doing the minimum. Manager needs to be reprimanded or fired. Yesterday was my first time ever eating there. They get extra points for not charging extra for all additional toppings on your burger. I don't think I have ever paid over $20 for one burger, large order of fries, and a medium drink. Then when I got my order, on my receipt it said "2 patties." Looking at the menu it says bacon cheese burger, and at the bottom it says little bacon cheese burger. I thought the little bacon cheeseburger was the kids meal. So when I asked the guy what's the difference between the bacon cheeseburger and the little bacon cheeseburger, he said (looking up at the menu) the top four are double patties, and the bottom four are single patties. I think they should tell their customers that. I can't eat a double patty burger. I ended up taking one patty off and eating it by itself, then eating the rest of the burger. The fries were good until they got cold. I always like to give places that didn't impress me the chance to impress me on my second time, so I will give it one more try. Maybe next time I'll order a regular order of fries, and I'll definitely order the little bacon cheeseburger. Also I think they should add avocado to the list of toppings.. read more

I have been to Five Guys all over and tried many other burger places too. This location is OUTSTANDING. It is not as busy as others I have been in and I don't know why. All of the restaurants in this strip center are good BUT 5 Guys blows everyone away in cleanliness and service. They are always friendly, upbeat and helpful. they all enjoy their jobs and come out to the dining room to refill drinks, bring your food, open the door. Whatever is needed. The burgers are FREAKIN AWESOME and the fries are always hot and fresh and over flowing out of the bag. I usually get a bacon cheeseburger, all the way, (all toppings are free) and a cajun fry. They are a bit more expensive than normal fast food places but WAY WORTH IT! I am a fan for life!!!! read more

There is a black lady manager who has made my families burgers the last few times, and each time she leaves half the toppings I ordered off! I ordered To-Go and my burger and fries were still hot by the time I arrived home, which is a +++. The only con I think is the pricing, the burger ALONE is a whopping $7.99.
