If you want burger and fries it is not bad but it was one of those "hey yes I think that was good!" and then an hour later you say "you know I never need to go back to this place again." The inside is cramped because of a strange setup of potatoes bags. The service was decent. Relatively fast and courteous. The burger was a bit greasy but they did use fresh items like jalapenos. The fries were way too many. We threw out more than we ate. Get the seasoned fries. They have a more interesting taste. Maybe it was just a slacker day but the ketchup was out, the tea was out and the sodas were not calibrated correctly. Five guys.....hand cut fries that I wish were cooked a little longer. I got a blt with a small fry and it was actually pretty good. My friend got the bacon double burger thing, liked it but found it pricy since the 10$-burger did not come with fries. He said it was "very ok". Non-burger options include a blt, a veggie sandwich, and grilled cheese which you could load up with lots of the burger fixings. Fast professional service. It was ok....maybe pretty good. read more

Primarily burgers, fries, and hot dogs. Essentially, it's baseball food, haha. But good! The burgers were yummy, despite a long wait (this place got crazy popular?) and fresh. The fries were a bit salty, and you get enough for 3-4 people in a large cup (a small would've been better for us), but it's a pretty cheap meal and hey, free peanuts! I suggest sitting on the side part instead of the main floor since, yes, this place gets really crowded. read more

Four of us (2 adults and 2 kids) traveling between NYC and the Cape. Starved. Got off at Dartmouth, thinking we'd go the Outback that was there. Can't find the Outback. Started looking at all the other restaurants in the area. Nothing we recognized that was all that appealing. Then we spied Five Guys Burgers. I barely remembered the name and thought maybe I had a positive memory of some review, somewhere. We tried it. Really good burgers. Not excellent, but really good. A ton of french fries in the one large order (the server said it would feed four). Needed salt. Drinks are standard. All the peanuts you can eat. When I drove by this location in December (prior to its opening), I was pretty excited based on my experiences with the Five Guys in Clifton Heights, PA. I went there at 8:30 on a recent weeknight and there were still many people there. That's a nice change from the usual deadzone that most restaurants in the area are at that time. Five Guys has a limited menu: burgers, hot dogs, fries. They give you a *ton* of food. A regular burger is 2 patties, while a 'little' burger is 1 patty. The regular fries consists of filling a styrofoam cup with fries, and the filling a small dish and adding that to the bag. Whoa. The burgers are very tasty! You don't have any choice of the cheese or the doneness of the meat, as is the case for most fast-food places (although Five Guys is fresher than fast food!), but you can put on as many toppings as you want from a large list. The inside of this location is nothing fancy; it is just tables and chairs, like the location in PA I am familiar with. As noted by Steven P., there is limited seating and while you are in the pickup area, you're pretty much in the way of other diners. At the time I went the seating/parking wasn't too much of an issue, but I can see how it can be. I recommend going at a non-popular time/taking it to go. read more

The staff was friendly and the service was relatively quick considering they cook your food as ordered. The manager also came up to see if everything was good. The burgers are very good and we love the options: lettuce, onions, mushrooms, tomato, cheese, jalapenos, etc. The fries are good. We recommend the cajun fries. Two stars for the peanuts in the shell. Would have preferred if the peanuts were unsalted. After hearing all the hype about this place, I just had to check it out. What a huge disappointment. Worst burger joint I have ever been to. Sort of looks like an In n Out on the inside, but without the cheap prices In n Out has. The outside is one of the ugliest buildings I have ever seen. There were no options on the menu for vegetarians. Not even a Boca or veggie burger. The french fries were terrible and expensive. This place will never be as awesome as Fat Burger. read more

Plenty of food for the money. It was a Sunday at 5 p.m. and there was a line. Peanuts are plentiful and filling. As soon as I ordered I knew I wanted Seafood instead but went with it. I must say I'm a huge fan of five guys. They have now lost a customer. They gave me the worst restaurant customer service experience I have ever had. I ordered online and drove to pick up the food. Upon returning home and starting to eat there were multiple hairs in my food. Called the store back and the manager tells me to just ask for Maria next time to get a free burger and fries. I told her this was unacceptable and I want a refund due to now not having food to eat. She continued to tell me she would not refund me unless I drove all the food back and returned it. She was beyond rude over the phone like I was causing her a hassle. Refused to give the district managers contact as well. Mind you we order here quite often and this isn't the first issue we have had. Once was another hair incident and second was a time a employee was touching the trash then failed to change there gloves before returning to make food. This is sad. Ruining a great brand. Let's take a journey back to my trip to Five Guys Burgers and Fries in Dartmouth, shall we? It was a fair late summer day. The sun was shining, there were no clouds to be seen, a perfect day. Following my trip to Target, I decided to try out the Five Guys I had driven past so many times on Faunce Corner Rd. Upon arrival, I first noticed that there were eight or ten people in front of me in line and only one register open. This left me with a feeling that I may be waiting several minutes to order. Next, I noticed that the inside was relatively uninviting. The line, counter and tables were all stuffed into one small area, making it uncomfortable and awkward. There were also two tables outside on the sidewalk, I hoped one of those would be free when I received my order. Shortly thereafter, I reached the front of the line, the brisk rate as which the line moved surprised me. Maybe this experience would be better than expected? I placed my order, a cheese burger, fries and a soda. The price was nothing short of shocking. Almost $11USD for that? Who did they think they were? I could go to a sit down restaurant and pay less than that for the same meal. "This better be good" I muttered to myself. between five and ten minutes later, my number was called. This filled me with anticipation. I walked over to the counter, handed over my receipt, and received my food. Just as I was walking back to my seat, I noticed a table outside with nobody sitting at it. I quickly walked to it and sat down. I then took my burger out of the bag, unwrapped it and took a grander at it. It looked messy, greasy, and delicious. I took a bite, and I soon realized what all the hype was about. Hands down, the best fast food burger I had ever had. I then dug into the massive heap of fries in the bag. They were also pretty darn good, though slightly soggy. After several minutes, I was finished. I walked to the trash barrel, disposed of my trash, and went on my way. My first every trip to Five Guys was complete. I was filled with confusion. The best burgers I think I've ever had!! You can tell they are freshly made. I always get the bacon cheeseburger and all my fave toppings (grilled onions, lettuce, tomato,etc). I love the fries they pretty much just dump them in a brown paper bag. My husband and I usually get 1 large side of fries to share and there's more than enough for the both of us. The only downside is that you have to pay separately for the fries. I feel like they should come as a combo with a burger, but that's just my opinion. Always a favorite go-to for lunch. I always take home a container of the complimentary peanuts too. Great little snack! read more

The food is consistantly good and the staff is very friendly. I haven't had the need to use the bathrooms there so I can't comment how clean or unclean they are but I do notice that the staff attends to cleaning tables in a timely manner when guests leave. I have to commend them on this because there is limited seating. read more
