Thank you for being open past 9!!

Talk about southern hospitality... it was 20 minutes before they closed and they still treated us with a smile and kind words. We were so hungry and so many other places were closed when we drove by.. first time getting a burger here but so glad they were open. Got the little cheeseburger and a large fry ( easily enough for four people - which we did share with the others with us). Burger was delicious and fries prob some of the best I have had... Would like to thank the team that worked tonight for the delicious food and friendly service!

Good fresh Burger. Fries were cold, but tasted pretty good. Overall a little pricey for the quality.

A reminder of the days when men and women dressed with class and wore hats and coats to dinner.. Mills has this inherent 50s vibe, but the menu is quite up-to-date and everything is delicious. You can't go wrong with the burgers, I'm just telling you they've got something for everyone's taste. Even the sides don't disappoint, and the milkshakes are enough for two people, at least it was enough for the two of us. My engine rings were fantastic, breaded to perfection, and plenty of them came with my meal. Our waitress was tremendous also, quick drink refills, brought our food, hot, and prepared to give helpful and delicious recommendations from the menu. They do sell their merchandise at the checkout, but what do you expect, this is pigeon Forge for goodness sake! Everyone is Hawking their stuff . We are definitely planning on coming back and trying something different. Their menu is diverse and I think that we could come back for years and never have the same thing twice.

The staff was running back and fourth, overall the wait time was not and at all. I had a chili, cheese, mushroom, back, burger, onion rings, and a root beer float. The service was decent, the food was ok, not greatest but not the best I've had either. I wouldn't mind returning and trying something else next time.

Maybe "pet tolerant", but not "friendly": - hostess was visibly & audibly afraid of dogs. We have two sweet chocolate labs, not exactly menacing creatures. Why in the world would you send a dog-fearing employee to get us seated? - we expected an offer of a water bowl for our pups. Nope. Had to find a server and ask for one. - the outdoor area we sat at is enclosed & gated. A door separates this outdoor area from the inside dining room. In spite of this, 10 minutes after being seated, a separate employee came out and simply said "do yall have leashes?" 1- of course we do, you saw us walk them in. 2- no greeting or "hey, I'm blah blah"... cold & impersonal. 3- why bother with the cost of a gated enclosure if pets have to be leashed anyway? We've been to many pet-friendly restaurants. You are NOT pet-friendly. You happily took our money for the meal, and added a 20% gratuity yourselves (which was not earned btw), but you barely did enough to accommodate our pups, let alone be considered "friendly". We didn't feel they were welcome, and certainly no "friendly" environment experienced. We won't be back. See how Calhouns defines "pet friendly". Y'all might learn something. To diners with pups: You want "pet friendly"? Skip this place.

When we first arrived the hostess asked us if we would like to dine in one of the cars. Of course we said yes. We had to wait about twenty minutes to be seated but we knew our little guy would love it! Once seated we ordered and our food arrived a short time later. I had the classic hamburger, my daughter had the BLT, my little guy had pancakes and sausage and my husband also had the burger! The prices were very reasonable! We loved the 50s theme and 50s playlist! I would have loved to also sit at the counter and enjoy the milkshake. Maybe next time.

I was having a rough day & chose Sunliner to try & make me feel better. Upon walking in I saw two full size car booths & a jukebox. The vibe was exactly what I was looking for. I'm happy to say we got HUNNY as our server & she was the best & she cheered me right up. She was wearing a bright yellow dress & singing along with the jukebox. We talked doo-wop songs & I got recommendations for what to order. I decided on Country Fried Chicken with Mashed Potatos & it did not disappoint. The shakes are also really good & come with a waffle on top. We ended up going back the next day (HUNNY was off) but we still had a nice time. Tried the chicken & waffles & biscuits & gravy this time. There really wasn't anything bad that we tried & if you're lucky, you might get HUNNY & have a 5 Star Experience like we did. Would I return for a third time? YES!

Trevor came by the table multiple times to go over my menu options, make sure I knew exactly how my food would be prepared, and check that everything looked right when it did come out. Aries was so genuinely caring and attentive, too. It was truly one of the best restaurant experiences I've had, I appreciate how kind, safe and easy they made my experience. I ended up getting the brisket and beans, and subbed the fries (the fryer oil has some dairy items fried in it) for a sweet potato with no butter, and it was all delicious! Everyone else in my party loved their food too, and it felt like we hardly had to wait before our food came out. Whether you have allergies or not, I would highly recommend this place for their delicious food, kind staff, and fun decor!
