Ok...now I'm officially a Five Guys fan. Yes, the burgers are better than In-N-Out. Double Yes, the fries are wayyy better than In-N-Out. Only thing I don't like about it here is that it is kinda pricey...but maybe its because the burger meat is soooo much thicker here and I've gotten the double burger twice! YUM. The guy managing the frys and handing out orders is hands down one of the nicest guys I've met at any of the Five Guys in the Bay Area. He acknowledged me when I came to get a mobile order, told me my order was coming right up, and even offered me a cup to grab some water as I waited. Give that man a raise! He's hustlin and enjoys what he does and makes it enjoyable for the customers coming in. read more

Mmm! Back again and reassured that this place is legit and obviously BETTER than In 'N' Out! My mom has never been and has been wanting to come here, so my brother, mother and I ventured out through the terrifying roads of Tully to this location. I Love to treat my wife to delicious juicy burgers. The workers here are nice and friendly. I love how you can add as much topping as you want on your burgers. The one thing I don't like is they don't have a combo option. That means you got to pay for your fries, drink, and burgers separate. If you get fries togo they always give you a little extra which that's a plus. I don't recommend eating here if you're allergic to peanut because I think they use peanut oil to cook. read more

Saw the signs during construction at the Plant. It finally opened this week and it was packed! Definitely be prepared to wait about 10-15mins in line if the line goes to the door. The guys behind the counter are awesome. There was a mix up with my order, but they were really nice about it and funny! Definitely made the experience better by being courteous with a sense of humor. The food is delicious! "get the most bang for your buck". You really get so much food it's crazy. When you order they'll let you know that the regular burger comes with 2 patties and the little burger comes with one. I ordered the bacon burger and the Cajun style fries. I saw them pack my bag. Put the burger in, the cup of fries, and then they poured more fries straight into the bag! When i got my order the bag was heavy. The burger was heavy. I was completely satisfied after finished the burger and the fries that they poured into the bag. I didn't even touch the cup of fries, just the excess that they gave! Definitely a great flavor for such a terrible employee service. I asked for a hamburger and a fries "No salt" over the phone. When I arrived to pick it up they told me that they never received my call, that I may call to another store, but they told me not to worry since it literally would take "6 minutes" to be ready, more than 20 minutes passed and more than 10 orders were served when I started asking for my order and nobody said anything so I called the manager. The manager explained to me that it had taken longer because they had to cook Fries without salt for me, so he walked directly to the woman who was cooking the fries to ask her NOT to put salt on the following fries because I had already waited too long and he pointed out to me; the woman ignored it because she put salt on the fries again and the next one again; therefore I did beg her not to put on the next because I had already waited too long (by the way, my consumption of salt is restricted by medical order), but she just turns around, then saw me, get up the shoulders and put salt back to all the fries! Incredible, inconceivable, unacceptable !!! The manager approaches and tells me that the ticket will go on the restaurant to which I replied him that I did not want anything for free, that it had passed more than half an hour when I was asked for just 6 MINUTES, meanwhile the woman who had done the fries kept laughing and turning to look at me challengingly while still preparing fries in such a way that the manager had to send her to the kitchen. The manager name Anthony behaved in a cordial and professional manner, but he had to take actions only in a short time right after the delay for not to have so undesirable disagreement. The same manager told me that this woman's name was Trinity. Looks like InNOut but it's not since there are more toppings to the burger. I had a Regular Cheeseburger w/ everything on it except the mustard and added BBQ sauce. Burger has 2 patties and pretty big. Tried the regular fries and cajun fries, both tasty. Cajun is cajun powder but still has minor kick for those w/o the taste for spicy food. All beef with no fillers, no preservatives, and trans fat free. Cooked well done and still juicy. Kinda hard to find in a fast food burger. Open 7 days a week 11am to 10pm. Located in The Plant across the street from Oak Hill on corner of Monterey Rd and Tully Rd. Restaurant is close to the International Buffet and Chevy's on Tully side. The line can be long depending on when you go but the cashiers are quick and the line moves fast. Free peanuts around the restaurant in boxes. My first time at a Five Guys Burger... There were about 20+ people in line but it moves fast. I like how you can customize your order with all those free toppings including mushrooms! The wait for the food was about 5 minutes or so...but they have free peanuts for you to munch on. The burger was quite juicy and fresh. The cheese was perfectly melted and the bacon was crisp. I ordered the regular bacon cheeseburger. The fries were really good. Skin-on fries..actually reminds me of the ones they serve at the Whole Foods cafe. The burgers? Honestly, they were good but for the double patties isn't very large! I was actually expecting a bigger burger or same size burger as a Whopper, at least. But yes, my double cheeseburger was really good.. meat was tender and kind of melted in my mouth. The Cajun fries? Ehh.. I do not care for it.. the bag was soaked w/ grease by the time I got home.. too greasy, too crispy, and too loaded w/ Cajun seasoning that it did not taste right! Sorry but I don't get the hype around Five Guys. The hamburger patty is fairly bland unless you add sauces but I assume that is true of eating cardboard as well. I got the lettuce wrapped hamburger, which has double patty, and it came wrapped in foil. They don't actually wrap the burger in lettuce but rather have several layers of lettuce on each side of the meat making it more like a lettuce sandwich. It was impossible to eat it like that so I ended up using a fork. Yeah, I'm a turd for ordering it without the bun but my favorite burger place does a great lettuce wrap so I thought I'd give it a try. The fries were OK but nothing to make me crave it. Their menu is so confusing too. My dining companion explained to me that a small hamburger means single patty and hamburger means double patty...yeah, it's so intuitive that after I ordered a hamburger, the clerk asked me if I wanted one or two patties. I asked if hamburger meant 2 patties and she said yes but people don't always know that. Then why don't they use a system that makes sense and doesn't need clarification? You have to know what you're getting yourself into here. Pretty much everything except the peanuts and water is LOADED with fat. I always order via the app bc I don't like the pressure of building in front of a waiting line and cashier. It's one of the few food apps I keep in my phone and it has never failed me. Experiment with the shake flavors. "Little" Burgers have one patty. They scoop'n'dump your fries in your to-go order to add that "greasy" bag effect. I keep on typing bc I'm on a roll tonight, but it's a decent fast food burger joint if you're Oscar Mike (look that up). read more

On top of that at around 3 AM I started the worst cramps and diarrhea ever. I have been in constant pain, even now as I write this at 5:40 PM because I am so pissed off! I'll preface by saying, I love Five Guys' cajun fries. The seasoning is amazing and they give you sooo much of the addicting fries by dumping an extra scoop in even after the cup is full. You could make a meal out of just the fries! But... I am not a fan of their burgers. I usually get a mini burger because the regular is way too large for me to finish in one sitting. You can pile on any of their toppings, but the choices for veggies are the typical ones like lettuce, tomatoes, etc, nothing too special. My main gripe is that the burger came out cold, like it hadn't even been heated up. Even the patty was room temperature and cheese had not melted at all. At that point, its kind of a cold sandwich, but without the option for some more creative toppings. In-N-Out does better burgers, hands down. You do get free unlimited peanuts though, if you desire. All in all, would come for their fries, but not their burgers. Price is okay for a burger joint. read more

Finally tried this place after hearing the "it's way better than In-N-Out" line from so many of my friends. And guess what? They're right! Much tastier burger patty, crispy fries, awesome toppings and free peanuts. They win. I ordered the little hamburger with mushrooms, jalapeños, pickles, mustard, ketchup and loved it. I love that Five Guys is here in this little Fairgrounds plaza. Everytime I come here it's always cracking. In the parking lot I mean. It's almost impossible to find parking, unless you know about the lot behind Five Guys (and everything else). The spaces are super narrow so if you're coming to eat in this area, I'd advise driving the smallest car you got. I usually get Five Guys before I visit microbreweries in Fairgrounds area because they allow food, and Five Guys gets you in and out within 15-20 minutes. When I visited on a Saturday night, there was a short line, but it cleared up quick. I got the veggie sandwich which has improved amazingly over the years. I always get it with cheese, bellpeppers, mushrooms, and grilled onions. You can also get any number of toppings you want in it which is a great sub for the lack of a veggie patty. Thanks Five Guys for looking out for your non meat eating friends. I wanted something quick, and lots of fries. So I thought Five Guys would be my best choice. I ordered it to go, and the staff members were all very efficient and friendly, so that's a plus. There are tons of seating for small parties or larger groups.
