I've been to this Five Guys location once before...several years ago. In general, I've only been to any Five Guys less than five times total... since I only eat burgers once in a very blue moon. But, I have to say, the simplicity of the menu, the calorie counts next to each of the items, the "basic-bag-no-tray-even-if-you're-staying" situation is very appealing. Bare bones. Food is made fresh to order...which might take a few minutes of waiting, but it's worth it for something that hasn't been sitting under heat lamps for goodness knows how long. Friendly staff. Oh...and there was even an employee taking care of the dirty dining room tables (with a smile on his face and greeting as he walked by our table). I really like that all of the toppings are free. I'm not generally a cheapskate, but that made me happy. My burger was really, really good. I like a plethora of condiments (I'm admittedly not a beef purist...I would have probably been happy with a bun filled with veggies and condiments....which they have as an option!) but the actual burger was cooked just right. I stuck with the smaller size (single patty) and we shared a regular order of fries. The fries are a little limp for my liking....I recall them being crispier in the past...but they are great quality and still tasted good. Love the free peanut situation. They keep you busy and munching if there's a bit of a wait. Even though I had a bottle of water, they have that cool, high-tech soda machine. It's like playing a video game while choosing your beverage. I got to refill the soda of my companion. Score. I ordered and ate in today to avoid the problem of the pudding-soft bun. It was a lot better with grilled+raw onions, pickles and mustard but not ketchup. (Remember this chain is based in the south so that is not a crazy concept.) But, to get the 5th star from me, Five Guys would need to: * Use a real bun that does not fall apart in your hands. * Provide sliced onions with some mouth feel to them instead of onion scraps. * Charge something reasonable... $4.90 for a "little cheeseburger" is out of kilter. Honestly, this would be three stars except for the excellent, salty, free peanuts... of which I loaded up on extras to bring with me on a road trip. Back at you, Five Guys CFO. read more

WOW, I can't believe I've never reviewed any of the Five Guys locations that I've visited. This was my first visit to the Wilton shop and I can't say that I found it different enough to share any comparison. Service was friendly and efficient, my usual Bacon Cheese Burger ($7.99) with everything was as good as always, and the large French Fries ($4.99) were delicious and more than enough to satisfy both my wife and me. My wife did comment that her Cheese Burger ($6.99) with everything was not hot when she opened the wrapping. Interesting, because that was not a problem with mine. We also shared a Coffee Milk Shake ($4,29) that was thick and had a good amount of coffee flavor. There were little black specs in the shake that I doubt were coffee grounds (LOL) but assumed were flavor enhancers. My wife says she was able to isolate one of the specs to identify a sour taste. Oh well, we're both still alive. read more

This place sure delivers on taste and options. The burgers all all made to order from fresh meat. The fries are cut from fresh potatoes. You also get free peanuts while you wait for the meal to come up. You can order burgers with any number of patties you desire. There is a large list of toppings including jalapenos, hot sauce, mushrooms, BBQ sauce, and the usuals like ketchup and mustard. When you order a small fry you get the small cup plus a ton of bagglers. (The name for fries that are in the bag) There is also a better than usual selection of soda and drinks from the fountain. They have coke, diet coke, coke zero, diet caffeine free coke, as well as the usual selection with sprite and minute maid. They also have 4 types of iced tea. The wait time is a bit longer than regular fast food but it is well worth it. *edit was to fix typos. read more

It was a good burger. All the toppings were free and you could put whatever you wanted on it. I had a regular burger, which had two patties. It was yummy, but didn't have the grill taste that I really, really wanted. I can't complain though, the ingredients were fresh and delicious. My boyfriend had the cajun style fries. Those were really good. There was actual potato in the middle that I could taste unlike other fries. The seasoning was good. It was just really oily. He liked them a lot though. He even thought about them the next morning. :P read more

Wow. Never does a chain restaurant create such great food for an ok price. The Five Guys burger is full of options and full of calories. However this immaculate combination of patties, cheese and assorted vegetables will leave you wanting more. First things first the portions are huge. One large fry will serve 7-8 people. At a Mcdonalds one large fry serves one person. The "little" burger is two to three times larger than your average burger. However with the large portions comes large prices. Little Burgers will usually cost you 5 dollars each and I believe the sodas are 1-2 dollars. This does sound expensive for a fast food place, but it really isn't fast. A dinner for four will take around 6-7 minutes and the high amount of customers only adds to this. But, spend the cash, and wait the wait, because it is worth it. The workers here are great. They greet you with a smile as you place your order at the counter and appear to love their jobs. The buzz of activity and great music really add to the atmosphere, and the posters on the wall are nice. It really feels "underground" as in it doesnt feel super-sterile and perfect. The room is filled with boxes of free peanuts and boxes of potatos and the kitchen is exposed. Here there is no freezers! Nothing is frozen, except maybe the mushrooms. The potatoes are locally shipped and they proudly display their origin. Overall this family-friendly burger joint is a great place for lunch and dinner, whether you're by yourself or with your friends or family. Five Guys, Five Stars. read more

I normally don't have a problem with the service here-I come here frequently but Sunday 03/1/2020 I came in and was taken back by one lady in a black shirt with long black hair. It was lunch time and the women was barking orders at the workers helping me. It was extremely rude, unnecessary and I felt so badly for the young lady helping me, when she was helpful, attentive and kind. No one deserves to be treated that way! The simple menu selections and "made while you wait" freshness of your meal makes me crave this food all the time!! BEWARE: the portions are gigantic, and I recommend you ONLY order the regular fires and the "little" hamburgers. The larger sized portions will choke a horse, or just make Steven Seagal feel full. Five Guys is a very special niche: I want to eat like an asshole, but I want it to be tasty while I do it. Little Cheeseburger is more than enough. Always put together right and they never fail me on the order. The son and I split a 'regular' fry and we always end up with a whole bag that we can't eat. I have walked past 5 guys many a time but have never eaten in one. I don't usually go to burger places all that much because I don't want to eat too unhealthily and those fries are not good for you. I went with a group of 5 and all of us had never been to 5 guys so we didn't know what we were in for. I know it is nice to know how many calories you are eating but I had a really hard time with seeing the calorie count next to all the food on the sign. The large fries were over 1400 calories! AHHHH!!! I was scared away from most of the food because of that. I got a small burger and that was it. I got to choose my toppings (lettuce, grilled onions, and mushrooms) and called it a day. My husband got a burger and fries and we shared a drink. The burger was good. Good is the best way to describe it. I enjoyed nibbling on the free peanuts which they provide at the check out. The whole group enjoyed their meal but no one was blown away by it. I kind of had high hopes because of all the sings on the walls of reviews saying they had amazing burgers. Better than Juicy, in my opinion and a great value. They have burgers and dogs. The regular burgers have 2 patties and the minis have one. You can get as many toppings as you like for FREE, except bacon and cheese. A regular order of fries is plenty for two, maybe even three. We always have them cajun spiced. So good! There are a lot of great burger joints in the area but Five Guys is our favorite. Not only do we love their always delicious burgers and Cajun fries but they have excellent customer service.
