After a long day of running errands with my son, we were tired and hungry. It was time to EAT! Since we were already in Trader Joes's shopping center, we have noticed that Jersey Mike has officially opened their doors and the crowd was slowly coming in. I have never tried their sandwiches before and always wanted to try them. There is always a first time for everything. So since Chop Stop is no longer there, we decided to go in and try their sandwiches. I have to say it was pretty good, size wise was pretty BIG, LONG, and filled our bellies happily well. I was impressed. I got their combo with chips and drink... giant #56 sandwich on toasted Rosemary bread which is called The BIG KAHUNA.Cheese Steak sandwich. It was generously filled with grilled onions, green grilled bell peppers, mushrooms, jalapeños, and extra white American cheese. I opted for Swiss Cheese instead of American Cheese. I thought Swiss will taste better in that sandwich and it did. My son got their mini #7 Turkey & Provolone sandwich with lettuce and tomato and it is one of their most popular cold cut sandwiches. (According to their menu). He thought it was bland, I took a bite and it was fine to me. Both sandwiches were very FRESH & TASTY!! Great service by Julian who was very nice, kind, helpful with a nice smile on his face. Good ambiance inside, but we chose to sit outside since it was a beautiful mid day and the sun was setting. Place was very clean and comfortable setting. One important factor for me is that IT HAS A BATHROOM(CLEAN) AND WE CAN USE IT!! Thank GOD! Plenty of parking spaces and will return again since it's close to home & when I am in a mood for a gourmet sandwich! Keep up the good work employees of Jersey Mike and management!!

With a sandwich shop being my very first job, I thought I would be past my sandwich phase but I guess it wasn't just a phase mom. I've been eating at Jersey Mike's for a few months before moving to LA. After moving to LA, I was happy to know that there were a few in the city. I was exploring the city and stopped right at the new Jersey Mike's in Studio City for a quick lunch. I walked in was greeted by the very kind employees. The restaurant wasn't too busy which made the store was pretty clean when I walked in and I was helped pretty quickly. My go-to order is always the Club Sub or Chipotle Steak Sub with a bag of chips and a cookie. I crave Jersey Mike's at least once or twice every couple of weeks so I'm happy to know that there is one right in Studio City. I will be back.

We grabbed two breakfast sandwiches, one with bacon and one without, and both were standout in their own way. The first thing you notice? These sandwiches come out piping hot, wrapped tight and ready to go. Crack them open and you're hit with perfectly cooked eggs and an almost ridiculous amount of gooey, melted cheese. Not skimpy, not balanced, loaded in the best possible way. The Kaiser roll deserves its own shoutout: lightly toasted with just enough crunch on the outside while staying soft and pillowy inside. It holds everything together without getting soggy, even with all that cheese. * The meat version had crispy, flavorful bacon layered just right, salty, smoky, and not overdone. * The meatless one didn't feel like a compromise at all, still rich, filling, and honestly just as indulgent thanks to the cheese and eggs. No frills, no gimmicks, just classic deli breakfast sandwiches executed really well. Bottom line: If you want a hot, cheesy, perfectly toasted breakfast sandwich that actually hits the spot, Paulie's is a win. I can't wait to go back for lunch!

The Downtown Turkey (my choice) is pretty basic (which was fine by me) but it was very dry and I only had half, leaving with a stomachache for the rest of the afternoon. My dining companion had the Penne Alla Vodka which she really liked. I didn't get to try any, but if a pasta dish is the winner from a deli, well, enough said. A while back, Yelp listed this as a business to try. I'd saved this for the next time I was in Studio City. My entire feeling while heading home was "I drove all the way over here for this?!"

He took my order and the order came out fast & quick. My food was very delicious and fresh. Restaurant was clean, and it is not a big place. Interior was pretty dope, colorful, and upbeat. They were playing great music overhead and I would definitely return to try other options from their extensive menu. Sandwiches were HUGE!! The salmon salad is my personal favorite and I order it constantly, but the avocado toast deserves its own moment. I brought a friend recently who said "avocado toast always tastes the same" -- and I told her not here. She understood immediately on her first bite. It is bursting with flavor in a way that has no business being as good as it is. I mean, it's bread, avocado, some cheese, fresh basil.... but it SINGS! The desserts are delicious, the server recommendations are genuinely solid (they actually know the menu and steer you right), and the service overall is warm and attentive. Special shoutout to Miles, who is always a joy and makes you feel genuinely welcomed every time. The space is small with both indoor and outdoor seating, but that's part of the charm -- it feels less like a restaurant and more like going over to a friend's house for dinner. They take real care of you here, attentive, superior, friendly service. If you haven't been, go. And when you get there, order the avocado toast -- even if you think you've had good avocado toast before. You haven't had this one. But seriously, anything you order will be great! Easy street parking and during the day for lunch they have a valet just next to Voyage et Cie (shop next door) that's reasonably priced.

If you order in person, you're forced to wait 20-30 mins for a cesar wrap while the staff stands around and chats. I've gotten a soggy tuna sandwich or tuna melt toast when I got to the shop 5 mins before I requested the order to be ready...TWICE. Leaving a $20 mayo-based entree out until it's soft and warm was enough to make me never come back. Three different times I have been the only customer in the restaurant while the owners, and I assume a manager, yap in the corner, unaware of how long I've been waiting for French toast sticks. Because Carla's is so forgettable, I didn't realize I still followed them on Instagram until the owner put up a story praising Charlie Kirk for "leading with love" and "preaching his ideals to others". She goes on to say "I feel a debt of gratitude to him." I'm disgusted I ever spent a dime here. There's so many local businesses on 3rd that are struggling to keep their doors open. I strongly recommend you eat elsewhere, perhaps somewhere that doesn't support right wing bigots who wish death upon the LGBTQ population and believe black women's brains are incapable of processing information.

Dropped by on a weekend and had to park on the street like normal anywhere in LA. We walked down the street to find a very, very busy cafe and super packed but that's a sign, right? Absolutely. 100%. Got the Saint Latte and Pistachio Latte and let me tell you. This is hands down the best pistachio latte I've ever had!! Super creamy and the strongness was perfect. My husband and I came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all, although almost all the pastries were already sold out, so I'm guessing the real rush is in the mornings. Overall, I personally wasn't a fan, mainly because the drinks and most of the food felt pretty underwhelming and lacked flavor. I ordered the strawberry matcha and it was honestly the most bland matcha I've had, which is surprising considering there was strawberry puree in it. It didn't taste low quality, just very muted and not something I'd order again, especially since I get matcha (and strawberry matcha) pretty often elsewhere. My husband got the pistachio latte and liked it, but mentioned it leaned a bit too sweet for his taste. For food, we tried the breakfast bagel and I genuinely can't believe how bland it was. It had all the components you'd expect, everything bagel, eggs, cheese, aioli, bacon, and more, but somehow it just fell flat. I kept wanting to add salt or some kind of sauce to bring it to life. I actually stopped eating it because it didn't feel worth it to keep going for something so flavorless. The one highlight was the spinach quiche. I really enjoyed it and would come back for that specifically, although it did feel a little pricey for what it was. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back, but if someone else wanted to go, I wouldn't object.
