This is my second time here. Place was empty when I came in. The cashier seemed new he offered me a water cup when I had paid for a large drink then he proceeded to give me a regular drink when I had purchased a large. I didn't make a Scene it was not that big of a deal to me.They have a coke free style machine which is awesome because I can have my vanilla coke. Food is great had the cheeseburger with fries. The free peanuts are a great touch my only complain is the inside was dirty the floor needed to swept from all the peanuts people threw on it. We just ordered from this establishment through their website, only to be short by two sandwiches. The driver apparently left them on the counter when he left. When we called them about the shortage, not only did they tell us it was impossible to order through their website (which we absolutely did) they said we had to go through Door Dash to get refunded for the missing sandwiches - despite the fact we don't have a Door Dash account and they don't have our payment info. Never in my life have I received such trouble remedying an order that was incomplete. After 3 calls to both five guys and door dash, the refund finally went through. Great customer service, it's also easy to order online for delivery. We eat here VERY often, but honestly switch out the bun for a brioche when we get home :X if they made that switch, i might move in. We always order our fries extra crispy "like chips!" I first tried this place in Orlando, and I was hooked!!! I was having a bad craving for a burger today and happened to drive by this new location. I was so glad they opened one near by, I order the little bacon cheeseburger and little fries. It hit the spot!!!!! I've been to Five Guys probably a dozen times or so and have never regretted it. I'm psyched that there's a local spot now so I can drag all my friends to try it out (results have been positive on the burgers, so-so on the fries). Personally I really like the burgers and usually like the fries. The fries tend to be fairly greasy and undercooked (i.e., floppy) but in small quantities they're doable. Of course, they give you a ton of them (one order will feed two people nicely), so I usually end up tossing a lot out. I can't think of anything in particular that is unique about the burgers themselves, but I really like them, and the normal (double patty) burger is a ton of food in and of itself, so I don't feel terrible about paying a bit more for them. I'm somewhat surprised by all the reviews extolling In-n-Out over Five Guys, though I will agree that the Habit is a good comparison and would be hard pressed to choose between them (I've only had the Habit once, but I recall it being good). read more

Been to 5 guys like 5 times. Not just this one, but this was my most recent torture. That now is 5 times to many. I keep going back because of all the rave reviews they have all over the walls. I figure I am bound to get a good burger at some point. How is this possible I have not. Let me recount the ways. 1. Service. Good. Friendly. Not fast though. 2. Today - we have awesome burger places all over. This aint one. Fresh meat. good! Well could be good. But... Cooked to a well done dried out piece of crap. Not good. Every time. Well done. Do they do that because they are afraid of getting sued if someone gets sick? Does not instill confidence. I was thinking, would they cook it medium rare if I asked? Never had. Not sure I'm giving them that chance. But it could be a decent burger if they did. 3. Variety of toppings, mostly free are nice and most are decent. But if the burger meat is dried out and tasteless ( except for the salt) I can do way better in lots of places. And of course there are tons of other more "upscale" fast food burger joints doing far superior burgers for not much more money. 5 bucks for a single burger with a tiny patty is pretty pricey. 4. Fries. These could be GREAT. But , BUT, the guy ( one of the 5 I'm sure) put so much freaking salt on these that they were really inedible. I like a little salt on my fries. In N Out. They nail the fry. Very lightly salted. You love salt?? Then add more at the table. But why take a fresh potato fry and coat it in salt so it looks like the streets of NYC after a snowstorm.? All you are going to do is kill off your customers! 5. Drinks. Fail . Nothing to drink but crap sodas. How about a milk shake? Goes good with old school burgers and fries, right? Your main competition you copied has great ones. Some bottled drinks could be an upsell as well. Oh thats quality. Ohh yeah... Peanuts. Cool? Gimmick. Hmmm. Just what I want when I'm waiting to eat an overpriced dried out burger with salt lick fries that would have a herd of horses ( yes horses love salt) lining up at the door if there were any around here. Come to think of it, maybe this was "5 old west guys". The ones from the western who wanted to eat well done burgers and lots o salt. Suggestion: Ask your customers how they want their burger cooked unless your cooks can only handle well done mode. and LIGHTLY salt your fries. Can you handle that? Meh! Not impressed with Five Guys at all! We heard such great things about this place, but my opinion is vastly different from the majority that have visited. First of all, hamburger joints and peanuts just don't go together! You walk in, and there are these huge boxes of peanuts for you to snack on while you wait. Really? Peanuts? Smh... I just don't get it. So, with that said, let me get straight to it: First, the place wasn't that clean... dirty tables, peanut shells on the floor, and such. Second, they nickel and dime you to death - no combos, over priced burgers, over priced fries, and over priced drinks. We ended up spending $38 on two cheese burgers, two large fries, and two medium drinks. It really wasn't worth it! Third, the cashier had a difficult time understanding us when we placed our order. Her attitude was a bit churlish, which really put a damper on our experience. Finally, the food wasn't all that! The fries were way over done, the burger was substandard at best, and the flavors were definitely nothing to write home about, AND I ended up with a bad stomach ache after we left! $38 dollars was wasted and could have been spent on something more hearty and tasty! All I've heard about Five Guys is "it's better than In N' Out", so that immediately put it at a disadvantage. People said the same thing about The Habit when that place blew up in popularity, and it just wasn't so. I went to Five Guys with lowered expectations hoping the disappointment would'n't be so bad, and I'm happy to report I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED BY THE FOOD. The price, though? $34 for a couple cheeseburgers, a couple regular fries and two drinks? Yeah, very disappointed. But the food itself was really good, though not as tasty as In N' Out. Five Guys' burgers are like a really good homemade burger. My main complaint about the burgers are they lack identity and enough seasoning, but it was still really good. Five Guys DOES have In N' Out beat on the fries, though. As far as milk shakes, i'd call it a draw. Listen up east coasters--you might have the west coast beat when it comes to pizza and Chinese food, maybe even have us beat when it comes to seafood, but not when it comes to good ole' American burgers. In N' Out remains undefeated on tasty burgers and bang for your buck, so try again. And good luck. OVERALL: A really good overpriced meal. NOTE: Why the three star and not a four? Parking sucks..and it's one of those shopping centers that you would never go to unless you were going specifically for 5 Guys. Also- the wait is a bitch. 5 guys is not "fast food". It's "10-12 minute food". Having said that- it's totally worth the wait.. I got the cheeseburger. I added the usuals; tomatoe, lettuce, onion, etc.. And a large fry. It was awesome. Everyone keeps comparing it to In And Out but it's so different to me. This is closer to Rounds burger that In And Out (and I mean that as a compliment). It's greasy. this is a real, honest to God review. i live down the street & we've had problems with the service here over the past few months. let's start with today. we place a phone order. my friend goes to pick it up. the girl asks if he was going to tip her. WHAT...? oh no she didnt...! yes, yes she did. when he replied, "thats an awkward question" he then put $1 in the giant tip jar in front of his face. her reply at that point was: "gotta hustle how we can". then she walks to the "cook"/"fry guy" & tells him "did you see how he looked at me? i just asked him to tip. his reply was "FUCK THAT". ok, i mean, why would you say that while he's standing there a foot away & can hear every word you've said...? i dont know if this part is true, or where it started, but the term/word "tips" is: "To Insure Proper Service" the following phone call to the manager at the time was a waste of time. now the food is good, hopefully the guy that said "FUCK THAT" didnt spit in our food... the service there though is 15o% not cool...! i go to Susie Cakes damn near 3X's a week. i'll get a cupcake & a bottle coke & TIP THEM at least $3-$5 every time. do you wanna know why...? because they are all pleasant & smile & greet you when you walk in the place. they are helpful, answer questions without sarcasm or being condescending. oh, they never mess up either. ive never gotten a smashed cupcake or broken cookies. they ask if i want my bottle of Coke opened... good customer service is rewarded with a good TIP (see definition above please) so if you're going to this location for the food, yes, the food is good. but be prepared to be treated like what you've read in these reviews. if more than a few people complain about the same thing (customer service) think about it... once again my peeps, EAT WELL... read more
