I always order online to avoid mistakes but somehow they manage to mess that up too. They've left out toppings and even forgot cheese on my sandwich multiple times. I come here because I simply like the chain and the fries are amazing. I guess the overload of fries kinda makes up for the missing topping lol. I would recommend this place but just don't expect too much. The resteraunt is very well kept and has great employees from what I've seen. Definitely one of the best burger chain restaurants around. Bf & I always order the bacon cheeseburger, topped anyway we like it and regular size fries (which is actually a lottt) I've always told myself "Five Guys would be my favorite place if they just had milkshakes!!!"... And now they do!!! Yayyy. Lol. New hand-spun milkshakes and they are heaven! I got the malted milk- it was thick and flavorful! You can also add mix-ins to it + they actually have a lot of flavors, not just the classic vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. I've drove by Five Guys in federal way so many times and have always wanted to try it. I was shopping at Nordstrom Rack and saw five guys so I thought why not try it today. The customer service was decent. And the food came out at a reasonable time. I really liked the fact that this burger place makes it when you order it so it's really fresh. Disappointed. Five Guys has been talked up for a long time by people, but praising this place is a bit unnecessary. For a family of 5, my total was over $73 and two were kids. My family really likes this restaurant at a different location. My experience at this location was not the same. My burger was cold and the cheese wasn't melted at all. Normally it would be nice and warm with melted cheese. That wasn't the worse part tho. I had a huge black Beard hair in my fries my son had a blonde hair in his burger! I politely told the manager after noticing that the guy making fries had a big black Beard. She said she was sorry but went about business as normal. I expected her to have him put on a net or something! Won't be going to that location again. My friend and I went into this location and right when we got in we immediately got stares from some of the staff. After we ordered our food my friend got hers first and asked for new fries because she said they looked old and she found a hair in it. The worker gave us new fries but instead of apologizing for the mistake like any professional person, he claimed that we messed with the food. I spoke up to tell him we didn't do anything and it was disrespectful for him to claim that we did anything because we didn't . He told us to step away from the counter to socially distance but there was another person he didn't bother to tell them to move, he told us to fix our masks but we had them on properly and there were three people in the corner of the restaurant who didn't have their masks on, and he told us to never come back. A chart on the wall says where they get the potatoes. There are barrels of shelled peanuts once you walk in. You can have as many as you want. Burgers come with all toppings included; a bacon burger is like 9.00$ add fries and a drink and it's about 13-15. Fries are plentiful though. You can feed two people with a small. Burgers are juicy and everything is made fresh right in front of you. They only serve burgers fries and shakes so if your looking for chicken nuggets you might have to look elsewhere. Filthy!!! It doesn't matter if the burger is good. Who wants to eat in filth? About a quarter of the restaurant was full when we walked in. Not a clean table in sight. I don't get the peanut shells all over the floor either. Trash was piled up on top of the garbage bin because it was so full. Told the cashier there weren't any clean tables. She shouted something behind her, but no one paid attention. Told a second person that all the tables were dirty. His response was, "What do you mean?" Um....all the tables are dirty! I have had Five Guys before but this time was just not good. I have even gone to this location before and had great service and food. But today was not to be. I did an online order for my whole office as we are trying not to leave due to the COVID-19. We ordered 4 burgers and 4 fries. The great thing about Five Guys is that you can customize. One sandwich asked for extra onions. It was like a regular portion. Another was a double cheese burger and it came as a single. The worst offence was the FRIES. The fries are so good at five guys, and they always give extra. Today the Fries were extremely soggy and way under cooked. Everyone in the office just didn't want to eat them. Lastly because of the way the fries are bagged they soaked them with grease. The bags were just ripping out and we had to basically catch them from from ripping through the bottom of the bag. I ordered this to be delivered so there is that but still if your going to offer delivery then come up with a better way to send out the food. read more
