My husband and I decided to try out The Habit Burger & Grill in Tukwila to use some coupons expiring this month. We visited on a Friday around 7:20 PM. While the entrance was crowded, more than half of the tables inside were actually empty. ​The staff seemed overwhelmed and very busy. We were encouraged to use the self-service kiosks, but the scanners kept giving us an error when we tried to use our coupon barcodes. We eventually had to go to the counter to place our takeout order. ​We waited about 25 minutes for our food: two Charburgers with cheese, onion rings, and the tempura green beans. Honestly? The burgers were just "okay"--nothing special enough to justify the long wait. The highlight of the meal was definitely the tempura green beans, which were delicious. ​The location seems significantly understaffed. Most of the empty tables were messy and hadn't been cleared yet. It's an alright spot if you aren't in a rush, but don't expect a quick or particularly clean experience during the dinner rush. read more

Came here to claim my free burger from here, and I tried doing it through the touch screen at the store, but the machine was being weird and it didn't process the code, and then proceeded to remove the code from my app. It was pretty annoying but I talked to the staff worker about it and although it was confusing at first, the worker was able to get me that free burger in the end. Burger itself was pretty good, much better than other big chain burger franchises. I would consider habit one of the higher end chain burgers out there, but of course nothing beats a local burger in town. read more

Craving a burger and wanted the variety offered at Habit. Also know that they are always so friendly at the front counter. The idea of this spot is it has a California vibe - and it kinda does. This time the spouse opted for the char burger instead of his usual teriyaki/pineapple version and he was much happier with the straight up fan favorite (probably Habit is more known for the char burger). I got the veggie burger, which is my staple. I like that they change up the bun depending on the sandwich and that they give you so many options for toppings. Also they are very polite about making sure you actually want all of the toppings that are pre-set. Very cool! My only complaint is and has been that the employees don't *apparently* have anywhere to go on their breaks and rather than sit somewhere discrete they ALWAYS sit right in the middle and make a lot of noise and distraction. I've worked in fast food. Yes, as teenagers we used to hang about the counter, order our food on break, etc. But this just bothers me every time (also these are not usu teenagers). The spot they choose is right where everyone is standing and/or sitting waiting for their orders. Please move somewhere that's less of an interruption to clientele experience. read more

Great location and friendly staff. My husband and I stopped in for two cheeseburgers and fries after an appointment in the area. The meat is cooked well, and was still juicy. Good burger at a good price. The seats near the bathroom were smelly (probably due to close range), but there is ample seating elsewhere in the restaurant that was fine. I have been to The Habit Burger Grill a few times and it has always been at this location in Tukwila. Every single time I have been here, it has been a good experience with no issues. The food here is consistently good. I would recommend coming here or to any The Habit Burger Grill if you are in the mood for "fast food" without the subpar fast-food quality. The parking around this location is rather funky, but it's in a plaza, so if you don't mind walking a little bit, shouldn't be an issue. read more

This is one of our fave burger places ever! I don't think we've ever been disappointed by this spot. The last time we went, we ordered Santa Barbara, Teriyaki, and Portabella burgers. Their burgers are just the right size and thickness. Their fries are also amazing. They're crispy on the outside and slightly soft on the inside. They're sufficiently salted too! Here's what you need to know: most of us from the Midwest may have heard of habit but never had the chance to taste it locally. I have to say, I really loved the chicken avocado sandwich - it was awesome. The beef burgers are just OK but this fast food restaurant itself has quite a nice ambiance, and the staff was very friendly. We stopped off here on our way out of the airport and enjoyed the food and service overall, including the kids who loved the onion rings and fresh fried fries. Ok surprisingly impressed with this place. I was expecting mediocre since it's a chain but they do chargrilled burgers pretty well for being a "fast food" place. A little longer wait time but I guess you can expect that since the food is fresh. I love that they have jalapeño peppers and other pepper options on the side if you want a bit of a kick with your burger. I love their food and it hurts me to leave this review but a couple months back. I ordered a chicken sandwich for lunch and when I went to go pick it up, the grill was literally on fire. They had to turn off the gas and stopped taking orders so I never got my meal when I asked them for a refund. They said they would issue it. I still have never gotten it. Neither sides started any convos so I can't speak for friendliness but service was fast. We ordered 2 burgers and some fries for $20 and got it under 10 mins since there was no one in line so price/wait was fair. Char burger 2/5 - was ok for being just a patty in a bun but the tomato and pickles were floppy/soft. The shredded lettuce was soggy/wet making the bottom bun also soggy. It was dripping which I found concerning since they claim it's just mayo, yet it was liquid like a thousand island sauce(?). Whatever sauce it was, was mixed with the lettuce before putting it onto the bun so there's no way to scrape it off without scraping off the lettuce too. Sweet Potato fries 2.5/5 - Was soft and tastes like what you would think. Not sure if it was supposed to be crispy or not. For $4, I wouldn't get it again bc it's a fairly small portion compared others. Crispy Chicken Sandwich 3/5 - great size for the price. Flavor was bland but it did have large pieces of lettuce and 2 fresher tomatoes in it so that was a plus. read more

I am really upset that I didn't find this place earlier. I had heard good things, but my experience exceeded what I had heard. The food was hot fresh and very tasty. I had the char burger with cheese and bacon no mayo add mustard. It was hot fresh and delicious. My wife had the barbecue burger and she was as pleased as I was! Even though we came in a little later in the evening, they had a steady flow of customers, but when they had a moment, all of the employees were cleaning. We will definitely be back and we are excited that there is also a location close to where we work in Florida. Well done! read more

Food was absolutely excellent! Everything is made fresh to order, so it's a bit of a wait, but it's so worth it. They have a bar with all the fixings you can add, sauces, and plenty of drink options. I would've rated a full 5 stars, however it was EXTREMELY COLD in the restaurant. Also, the tables could be a bit cleaner and cozier. Overall, the restaurant needed to be cleaner. A good bleach rag does wonders lol! And please PLEASE consider turning up the temperature of the restaurant. It literally felt like below zero in there.
