Five Points is one of my favorite pizzas. It's really good NY style pizza. The crust is great and holds up well to the copious amounts of toppings they add. I have been to another one and loved it them too. When this place showed up in a search in Nashville I was a little confused because I knew I had written a five star review of them when I had it last. I quickly realized this was a different location. I was going to Emmy Squared, but totally flipped my decision when I saw this place. I was alone so I posted up at the bar. Bartender had a few bar guests but also had the tables around the bar. He did great managing the workload. It's well decorated and feels like a fast paced pizzeria inside. It's really my kind of joint, for real. This time I noticed that you could do a half/half pizza for just a $1 more. I was torn between two pizzas, so when I did see that I was excited to have both. I got half "The Boss" and half "Dave's Pizza Pie". Both were fantastic! I'm torn on which I like the most. Let's just call it a tie. I liked this pizza so much I risked food-borne illness to eat it again. I took the leftovers back to my room and then took it all the way back home after my meeting, 6 hours out of the fridge on the way back in total. I heated it up and ate it until it was gone. We stopped in at Five Points Pizza - West Nashville... Had high hopes for this place but it got off to a rocky start. When my son and I came in it was busy. We were told to stand in the back. After a few minutes it was evident we were "in the way." What appeared to be a manager asked us if we were on the list. I had not been asked for any information about a list. So.... we stood around for about fifteen minutes before we were even put on the list. What was supposed to be a ten minute wait turned into a twenty five minute wait. We went straight for the classic pepperoni and sausage. The crust was perfectly crisp on the outside with a nice chew inside, and the pepperoni had that slightly spicy, savory kick that makes it hard to stop at just one slice. The sausage was finely ground and flavorful. The sauce leaned a little on the sweeter side, which balanced well with the salty toppings. I also had a Greek salad with prosciutto. It was very tasty. The atmosphere was lively and nearly uncomfortable due to the noise. Fredrick kept things moving quickly even with a busy crowd. He was awesome. Prices felt fair for the quality, and the portions were generous. Overall, a solid spot for pizza in Nashville--especially if you're craving a straightforward pepperoni pie done right. I've lived in Nashville for a few years and just tried Five Points Pizza and wish I tried it a lot sooner! The online ordering process was easy and the food was ready in less than an hour. Great spot for pizza! They have a wide variety of options. The whole pies are pretty big so order with caution lol. We ordered the vodka sauce, the rocket pie, and T. rex. My favorite was the rocket pie. The arugula (not added to the pizza yet in the pic) and lemon added a refreshing touch. The vodka sauce pizza was aight. The T. rex was a classic meat pizza. FIVE STARS TO FIVE POINTS PIZZA | I was majorly craving a hearty NY slice and Five Points satisfied that craving to a tee. There were two separate lines, one for dine in and one for takeout. We tried to dine on the outdoor covered patio with our pup but unfortunately it was only open to service animals. So we took our order to go and stood at this high top table outside the restaurant (but not in the covered patio area) to scarf down the food while it was still hot. We ordered some garlic knots, a Greek salad, a pepperoni slice and a Meat Slice of Da Day, which was a sausage, red pepper, minced garlic, ricotta, shredded mozzarella and red sauce slice. Everything was delicious, although I do think my fave was the simple pepperoni slice, with the meat slice a close second. Super hearty, good thinness of crust without being cardboard-y or cracker-y (yes I'm terrible at describing crust) and loved the ratio of toppings to pizza. All in all, will probably leave the pup at home next time and dine in. read more

I remember this place being a lot better before. The pizza is thin and the dough is good but otherwise, it's pretty flavorless and there isn't much to it. A 14in pizza is good for 2 people, 18in is good for 4! You can also get any pizza half/half for a $1 uncharge which I do feel like is a good deal. Here's what we tried: -Garlic Knots: 6/10 - They were fine, but they weren't as soft as I'd hoped for, and honestly I wish they had been more garlicky/cheesy. The marinara it came with was fine, but lacked depth. -Spinach & Gorgonzola Salad: 8/10 - I do really like this salad. The gorgonzola cheese is a vibrant flavor, and I like the textural contrast of the walnuts. -The South Brooklyn: 5/10 - I found this pizza to be pretty boring and have very little to no flavor. -The Vodka Pizza: 8/10 - The first bite was underwhelming, but coming back to this pizza after trying the others, I decided it was my favorite one. The vodka sauce is a very subtle flavor but it does add a certain richness, and the pizza has a lot of toppings on it. -Dave's Pizza: 6/10 - I enjoyed the prosciutto but again, the flavor didn't wow me and it still felt sort of subpar/bland. -The Hot Hawaiian: 8/10 - I really enjoyed the big slices of meat, and the combo of the jalapeño and pineapple made this slice one of the more flavorful ones of the bunch. -The Bianca: 6.5/10 - A pretty pie, but it was too much ricotta for me. Just too bland. I wish there was something to elevate it, perhaps some chili oil, hot honey, etc. Overall, not the best. Wouldn't come back for the pizza. read more

Decent overall pizza, nothing too blow your socks off, but cheese, sauce topping always close too 4 star. Very delicious and gigantic pizzas. More of a thin crust with some tasty toppings although I'd have to say that just a simple plain pepperoni pizza is my favorite. Y'all... If you've been following my reviews, you know I've been on the hunt for good pizza in Nashville for the past 2 years and guys? I finally found it :) This is hands down the best pizza I've had in Nashville. It's soooo good! The crust is thin and crispy, ingredients to the edge, perfect amount of cheese, the cheese pulls very nicely, and there's an appropriate amount of toppings. I don't feel like I've been skimped on toppings at all. The sauce is so delicious. I mean top tier pizza here and I'm a pizza snob for sure. I got the Woodstock classic (pepperoni and mushroom). I ordered basil as well and it came on the side which I didn't mind. I'm not sure if they do that with all ingredients if you order delivery but it worked fine for Basil. All together I love this place. I will no longer be ordering pizza from anywhere else. This is the spot! read more

I'm a snob in the sense that I grew up in the Northeast, the land of perfectly chewy crust NY style pizza a-plenty, and I have been underwhelmed by most slices I've tried in the South. Five Points is the closest thing I've found to GOOD pizza here in Nashville. Nice & thin crust (but not cracker-y & weird), simple sauce, & they don't complicate the cheese !! (I hate it when the cheese gets complicated.) The service was prompt and attentive, but not overly so in that irritating way, haha. This is a great place to grab a tasty pizza. We got 2 pizzas and some garlic knots. Delicious. They also have Stromboli and Salads. They have a good selection of different pizzas. The website says their New York style dough is made from scratch daily and aged in house, topped with hand crushed plum tomatoes and houseshredded Mozzarella. You can absolutely taste the freshness in each bite. There is a small lot to park for free and a parking garage. Our server was Cody today and he was attentive and friendly. The 14 inch pizzas are from about $20 to $25. They have 18 inch pizzas, also. They have a bar with local and craft beers on tap. I saw some wine on the drink menu, too. There were a few TV's spread around. We enjoyed our visit and would definitely go back. One last thing. They use an old school gas fired 2 inch bricks deck oven to bake your fresh pizza in. read more

This is my favorite pizza in Nashville! I order from here at least twice a month. I normally do takeout but recently went in for lunch with friends and ordered slices. The slices are huge, Pepperoni is always amazing but I also got the meat slice of the day, it was ok - I wish it had more garlic. To emphasize how good this pizza is - my sister (a teenager) only eats pizza if there is a bucket of ranch nearby. When she visited me, she ate the pizza without any ranch!!!!!! I thought something was wrong since she wasn't using her ranch and she said "this pizza is so good I don't need ranch". Mind = . So this pizza is loved by adults and children alike. I've been coming here since 2018 when I first moved to Nashville. Their pizza is the best in Nashville! There are a few others that deserve a nod but in my opinion, it's the closest the pizzas I grew up on in NYC! The atmosphere is pretty casual and the servers were all really pleasant. Our food came out quickly and was hot and fresh. The menu is pretty limited to just pizza, so don't expect many other Italian dishes to choose from. We ordered the garlic knots and two different pizzas - all the food was good and the portions were generous so we had enough to take home. So we were in Nashville over the Thanksgiving holiday and tried Five Points Pizza, on the recommendation of one of the bellman, from our hotel. It was incredible and we are so glad that we tried this place. I should clarify that in this review, by "we," I actually mean me and my toddler-aged daughter, not actually my wife, this time. Five Points Pizza is a fantastic pizzeria that offers excellent pizza at a moderate price. Maggie and I decided to try an order of garlic knots and a pizza with extra cheese and extra pepperoni. The garlic knots were good but not great. The tomato sauce that was served with the knots was poorly seasoned and slightly bitter, almost like plain tomato paste. It was discarded after the second dip. The garlic butter was scant and had acquiesced to the bottom of the bowl. Due to the shape and hardness of the knots, dipping them in the butter that remained was messy and difficult. Fortunately, we only purchased a small order. While the knots were merely "good," but the pizza was excellent. The large slices folded easily and the crust was the perfect trifecta of chewy, pliable, and "springy." I had feared that the dipping sauce that was served with the bread would also be the sauce on the pizza and, thankfully, this was not the case. The pepperoni was slightly spicy, possibly uncured, and a good balance of salty and savory. My daughter absolutely loved this pizza and I struggled to cut it up, as fast as she desired to eat it. I highly recommend Five Points pizza and, on a dad point, this place does have a nice baby changing in the men's room, so that is a helpful, convenience that is scarcer than one might think. read more

One of the best pizza's out here in Nashville! We ordered a half and half pizza (T-Rex and Veggie) since some of our party do not eat pork. They do not have any meats that do not contain pork when I went and I wish they had more variety of options for meat. The T-Rex is my personal favorite, but the veggie was pretty good. I believe it's pepperoni and sausage. The crust is perfectly cooked and they load the pizza up pretty nicely with toppings and not too much cheese or sauce. The garlic knots were phenomenal as well. Good size and it had a lot of garlic and the right amount of oil. You have to dip it in the marinara. Nice outdoor area to eat when the weather is nice and they have a pretty spacious indoor area as well. If you were getting to-go, there's a special entrance and side for it. Sometimes the line gets long and wraps around the parking lot for pickup! But so worth it! read more
