Day 1 asked for a test drive for a 2026 Maverick hybrid, day 2 brought wife to dealership and she drove the same Maverick hybrid, we liked the car ,we bought the car , when we left the dealership we didn't realize it but we drove out with a 2026 Maverick eco boost Never owned a hybrid never driven one never a passenger in one , after two days I called the salesman mentioned the gas mileage wasn't even close to the expected 30 to 40 miles per gallon it was getting 18 to 22 depending on drive mode and it also seemed loud like battery was never kicking in , the test drive was quiet, well brought the car in to the dealership and after a while they admitted I did test drive a hybrid and by mistake they gave me a eco boost... And on top of that their solution was down grading me to a 2025 and taking away the towing package that was on the car I drove off the lot , and taking a losey 500 dollars off the bottom line lol read more

I'm now having to take my truck to a body shop 7 months after getting it back because the collision center never fully repaired it from an accident I had in 12/2/2024. I was ran off the road and hit a curb, they fixed the damage from the car hitting me, but didn't fix the issue from where the wheel hit the curb, causing the passenger front tire to scrub the wheel well liner and eventually ripping it out. I had it reinstalled a few times by a mechanic and I even took it back to Five Star to get them to repair it and the explanation that was given to me by Carl, "my tires are bigger than before" and then "there's nothing else we can do". I bought the same size wheels and tires, so I know that isn't the problem. Now I'm having to take it to a different shop to get it repaired and they showed me that there is still damage underneath that needs to be addressed. I would never take my truck back to Five Star Ford, even for an oil change. I wouldn't even buy a vehicle from the lot. I even have a recall on the brake booster, but I'm definitely taking it to a different dealership to have that addressed. Terrible business! Against my better judgement, I brought my truck back to this place to have them try to fix it again, because they never did the alignment after my accident 9 months ago. I was NEVER told they didn't do the alignment, even though they billed my insurance company for it. It wasn't until today 9/12, that I was told they didn't the alignment, but couldn't get it to spec because my truck is lowered. All I've gotten were excuses why they couldn't repair my truck. I'm finished with this place. I'll go to Loganville Ford before I ever think of Five Star Ford, I'm tired of getting the runaround. I've had a deeply frustrating experience with Five Star Ford Collision. This is now my 5th to 8th, I've lost count to be honest for the same repair issue, and each time, the service has been subpar. Mind you my car was serviced March 4th, got it back with issues, it's a back to back issue. Joy from the office would sell u a dream to make it seem the car is in good hand but after picking up my car she was sertainly unhelpful, trying to shift the blame onto me for a loose bumper/rim being damage that was clearly a result of their previous repair or who ever handled my car. They claimed to have fixed the brackets that had broken from their own work, but the job was only half-done. I'm currently driving with the broken brackets in my front bumper,bumper lose and more scratches to my rims. Each time I pick up my car, it seems to come out in worse condition than when I brought it in. The repeated issues and poor quality of service make it clear that Five Star Ford Collision does not live up to its reputation. I would strongly advise seeking out a different repair shop. I should have learned from the previous times and listen to the other customers that told me they had the same issue with Five Star Ford Collision! What a shame! Every service estimate should come with it's own Police Report. What they try to charge for service is criminal. Half of what they write up you don't need and they double up on labor to fix items that can be done at the same time (ie accessing items behind the dashboard). I was angry when they gave me the verbal quote and knew something was not right, but livid when I got home and went through the written estimate and figured out what they were doing. Service advisors must get paid commission based on how much service work they can sell you. They are very friendly while they they try and rip you off so be prepared and don't fall for it. Save your time, money and sanity and go somewhere else. I should them an invoice for wasting my time. read more

Took the truck back home and the tire was clearly in the view where anyone could see it. I took the vehicle back again showing them the nail. After receiving my truck back I noticed them at the tire was out on backwards. After having my engine replaced, I took my vehicle in for service and they claim I needed 2k worth of work on my vehicle... asked for a price to fix my gas cap door which wouldn't close, they quoted me a price of $340.00.. I took it to Loganville ford and they gave me a price of $140.00. I will never go back here again!! read more

BUYER'S BEWARE! BAD WORKMANSHIP: Collision Center: Repaired but broke another thing while repairing!! Took our 2017 F-150 Platinum here to get minor repair to the front bumper that was being covered by the dealer we purchased the truck from. Not only did it take FOREVER to do, after giving the truck it's first wash after the repair we noticed the bottom left corner of the grille(that they had no reason to touch) was caved in. We also received notifications the first day it was in the collision center about sensors and other things dealing with the grille going off. We called our service advisor and they basically said they don't know because it was in the collision center, so we called and never got an answer. Called Collision center and Kelly told us to bring it in for them to look at the damage. Upon arriving Kelly walked out to the truck and saw that the grille was now caved in on the same side they did work on. We get back in the office and David and Kelly joked about what technician worked on the truck... after they brought it in to inspect and spoke with the tech Farshid they told me they didn't do it. Wanted us to provide them the Dealers name and number for them to pay for it. We brought the truck to them to fix any and everything and not one thing was mentioned about the Grille or we would have gotten the Dealer to fix it. But yet now the grille was shattered and they stated they didn't do it. After David called me a smart ass because I told him they don't need the Dealers info because they're the ones who shattered the grille I told him to give me the all the paperwork regarding what they did and I would call Ford Corporate. He told me we already received the paperwork and the paperwork he had was theirs. So I basically had to instruct him to do his job and print new copies of everything and explained that it really wasn't a hard task to do. He then told me he was going to get me escorted out(LOL) I was sitting waiting for paperwork and this guy was much bigger than myself. So I basically had to tell him 3-4 times that I don't need to be escorted out I need the truck so I can leave and deal with their corporate ofHe finally printed the paperwork but threw it at my feet(maybe they need anger management classes???). Called Ford Corporate and they had us bring the truck to another dealership. That dealership Allan Vigil deemed that the damage was done from BAD WORKMANSHIP like we stated. Therefore Ford Corporate paid for the fix, except for $120. Which is lucky for Five Star Ford because I already had the paperwork to file a Smalls claim court case against them, but luck was in their favor as it's about that much to file. I would like to commend the people of the service department at five Star Ford. I had a vehicle that was there for transmission problems. My 2015 Ford escape was in on recalls. We had been experiencing some hesitation and we thought that it might be due to transmission problems. When the recalls were completed we picked our vehicle up. Up on driving it for a couple of hours it's failed to go forward and in reverse five star told us to have it towed back into the dealership. They went over it with a full inspection and determine that it was the transmission. The service manager said that he would do as much as he possibly could because it was not in their policy to not take care of their customers. I also tried on my end with Ford who told me that I was outside of my warranty. Oh God what do I do! Well to make this long story short I left my car there from April until recently they did not charge me a thing and understood my situation I would like to give a major shout out to Josh Whitlock service manager and to all staff that assisted me everyone was very polite and my situation became their situation and my urgency became theirs. He took us directly to what we were looking for, he didn't try to upsell us, didn't try to schmooze us and didn't try to trick us Into buying something we didn't want. I bought my car new at Stone Mountain Ford. It's been an excellent car, and his rarely needed service. When it did, I took it back to them and got excellent service. When my daughter's Ford needed repairs -- her brake lights came on and her air conditioner quit working -- I sent her there for service. They said it would be four or five days before they could even look at it. It's been eight. She's called repeatedly to get an idea of what's going on, but she's getting no return phone calls. Just dumped into voicemail. The same with her texts, no reply. I called and spoke to Brandy in the service department. She told me she would get something done right away. Apparently someone called my daughter daughter and then dumped her into her service guys voicemail. No return call. Is that Service? I'm apalled that a formerly excellent service department has gone downhill so badly. You may want to take your car somewhere else. I certainly will. read more

My son was looking at a truck there and called, spoke with Justin, He gave Justin all his credit info and budget, My son got the text that they could get him in the truck for under his budget so we planned going up there. We get to the dealership and are greeted by someone else whom justin had "told the situation to" This guy was condescending from the start telling me that "yeah more expensive loan means you pay more per month" so we spend an hour looking it over and they are doing the dealership thing "talking to their manager" they come back at $250 over the price we told them he could afford and for 24 months more on the term. So I tell them no, and they come back again and say thats all they can do. So I inquire as to why we were told otherwise, was it a bait just to get us in to see the truck. They give me the run around etc. so I ask for a manager, who refuses to listen to a word I have to say while he is trying to talk over me. (sorry for the run on sentence) I ask him how he knows why I'm upset if he keeps talking over me and the manager starts explaining financing to me.. I understand WHY the numbers don't work, I don't understand WHY we were told they could and would make it work. The Manager gets fussy with me and my son and basically said there was nothing he would do to help us out. So we went down the road to Stn Mtn Toyota, found a similar Tacoma (thats what we were viewing at 1 star ford) only a year newer with 30 k miles less, $2k more.. Stn Mtn worked with us were up front with pricing super nice, etc etc we ended up going over our budget and buying there. False advertisement online buyer beware.. Advertising on cars.com and other online adds I talked with Jacob, Gary, and Sale manager Michael via text message and email on a couple cars. Inquired about a couple of cars they advertised if they still have them on the lot which they did. Went back and forth messages on Friday 11/20/20. Told me about a doc fee of $699 which is not advertised. I told them I would be paying cash up front no need for documents fees.. Decided on a car advertised at 13k told them I would come and purchase car for 13k if it was same car advertised in the pictures. Last message I sent Jacob. Monday 11/23/20 Jacob message me again saying I could purchase the car for 14k.. Tuesday morning I sent text and email saying why would I pay 14k for a car advertised for 13k? I sent them the ad and he left me a message saying the 14k was included tax and tag ? They have no attentions of selling their cars for the fair price online and by Ga law they should include their ridiculous doc fees I hate I got to give them one star I will be filing a complaint with the Attorney generals office read more

These people are crooks! Go to any other dealership for service. They charged me for services they did not complete. I called Ford headquarters and they informed me that the service I was charged for (diagnostic and new keys) could not possibly be done because my car computer was not working. When I called Five star back, I got the run around and was told I would be called back, to date still no response. They also over charge for service. I found out the dealership down the street (Loganville Ford) is literally half price of what this place charges. They have a minimum number they try to charge, $875. They will do/say anything to get you to that number. $1000 later and my truck still isn't working, nor can they tell me what the problem is. This place is trash!!! read more

I also had an appointment with Greg Kline, collision center director. Even though there was a mix up with my appointment time that the insurance set, he quickly worked it out and was able to give me a complete estimate for repairs and take my car in. I had a 2014 Mustang and now a 2016 Mustang, so Ive been going to Five Star for a while. I know the routine after your visit: a call & a text from Kathy (usually her) asking about your experience & telling you about the Survey from Ford a few days later. Well, its been over 30 days since my last visit and Im wondering why I haven't received a phone call or a survey asking about my latest experience. Well, I guess you don't get either if your experience wasn't a pleasant one. I'll give the short version since I was there over 5 hours that day. I was having an issue with downloading my sync "3.1 to Sync 3.3" & there was a squeaking in the back of my car. So, I had 2 issues. The service guy (wont call his name but I bet he remembers me) went for a ride with me to hear the squeaking. He heard it. Once we get back and discuss, he tells me "SYNC is Down and been down for 3-4 weeks" and they couldn't check my SYNC. HUH! So I called Sync Cus Service and found out That was a LIE!! So, I told him he needs to have someone check my SYNC because it is NOT down. He said OK! Ah HA! A few hours later he tells me the issue with my sync was a download that would cost $400+ !! WHAT !! Of course we went back and forth for a while on this and he wouldn't put it on paper what was the issue with my sync that would cost $400. He kept saying well, "its something in the Background of the sync that I (me) cant check or see...but he couldn`t tell me the "official name" of the issue nor would he write it up for me on the work order. He just kept making up stuff and I kept asking more questions. Of Course I said NO to that. Also the issue with the squeaking , I was told it was my back seat and all I needed to do was ride with the seat down and the squeaking would stop. That's it!! No Fix for that issue but he still charged me $198 to tell me that...for NOTHING! So my total bill that day was $398, for what though? When I got home, I reset my SYNC and NOW my sync is working PERFECTLY on SYNC 3.3. !!! So, again he lied just to make a sale! Its all about those service guys lying and taking your money & then asking for a 5 STAR review !! I was out of $398, & very frustrated when I left Ford that day, I will NEVER go back!! Stuart is the absolute worst to deal with. He is rude and doesn't follow up when he says he will. Seems very unorganized. Very disappointed with the now 6 months of dealing with ONE auto claim. I will never return to this store. The only bright light about this collision center is Nakita. I took my vehicle in to get repairs done due to an auto accident and went through insurance and every step of the way this Center has been a pain to deal with. It took almost a month to even get my vehicle looked at in the beginning, then when I showed up they "lost" my appointment, did not complete the repair initially and then took months getting back to me on when I could get the repairs complete. Then in dealing with them on getting information for what work was actually done to my vehicle they refused to give me basic information such as what parts were replaced. read more

My work truck has been in service for nearly 2 weeks, I've called more than 30 times in the past 2 days, left 5 or 6 voicemails, and have yet to talk to a human or get a phone call back about the status of my truck. I understand that they are short staffed, but there is no excuse for not responding to many voicemails, texts or phone calls. I am disappointed with the service I have received to this point. This is one my worst experiences ever with a dealership. They lied to my face and refused to fix the problem. I took my car here for a warranty repair and they said I needed a second key for the repair. So I bought the second key and when I came to pick up my car the key fob they gave me was used and without the hideaway key. They never told me I wasn't going to get a new key fob and that I wasn't going to get a hideaway key. For 366 dollars this is a ripoff plus they tried to make me do a lot of other things on the car that it didn't need. They tried to sell me a oil change even though my car just had one done. It even had the fast lane service sticker on the windshield. They treated me like I was a idiot. My service advisor was Cedric Johnson and he lied to me and ripped me off. My 2015 Ford Fusion engine light came on. I didn't want to drive it so I had it towed to the dealership 5 Star Ford. Told Jeffery S. the engine light came on, seems have a rough start and shaking. This is what I was told they did:Found DTC P0302 cylinder two misfire. present,cooling system pressure test attempted to remove cylinder two spark, plug and inspect cylinder in found cylinder two spark plug to be seized, inspect coolant intrusion in cylinder two. Per TSB Engine Short Block required. I needed a motor for car. The price would be $10,000.00. I asked was that a 10 with 3 zeros, just to make sure I heard him right. I had my car towed back to my house. Took it to Precision Tune . My cost was less than $700.00. I will never trust 5 Star Ford again. Please Please be careful. Went in for scheduled maintenance. Had a damaged battery cable connection as well that I asked to get quoted. Had already been quoted by another dealer. They came back with a $2300+ quote, charging $300 more for the part and quoting 6 hrs of work at $220/hr and $73 in shop supplies. They were over $1400 more than the other quote I got. I bought my truck from this dealer and will never set foot in there again. The amount of gall it took to provide this quote is staggering. They obviously care nothing about customer retention. I brought my Edge in because it was making a noise. They kept it for three days and said it was the drive belt. I paid 285 and the next day it was making the noise again. I brought it back in again. They now saying it is another belt and wanted to charge 385. I refused so they said I can pay for the part and the labor will be free. I agreed to that. When I drove the Edge home it started making the noise again. I informed them , but have not heard from anyone. read more

The car buying experience I had here was definitely a great one. I was helped by Sean Roberts and he was AWESOME! I bought a 2017 Escape Titanium. I love my new car and all the bells and whistles it came with. I also opted to add on the best add on for services, maintenance, and warranties. I am now due for my first service(oil change and tire rotation) so I made an appointment for today at 11:00am. It is now 12:10pm and I am still waiting. In my experience with other dealerships and cars, I have never had to wait this long, unless I was a walk in. I assumed having an appointment would make a difference? Will update once everything is complete, but definitely not happy with the wait so far. I know it's also a different dealership, but when I would take my Lexus in for maintenance, they had a display of snacks and drinks and coffee to help the wait. They only have a water jug in here and some vending machines. I suppose that's just how it is though. I was certainly spoiled by Lexus! The stars so far are purely for my purchasing experience with Sean. (I give him 5 stars!) But, I had to deduct one star for the service so far. Update: my car was ready shortly after beginning my review. Took approximately an hour and 20 minutes for my oil change and tire rotation. Not awful. I will leave my rating at 4 stars because of the sad waiting area. But, all the staff I encountered were extremely nice and helpful. Get a keurig or something though! read more

My car has been at Five Star Ford for now 8 days and I have yet to get one call updating me on the status of my repairs. every time I called to speak with the mechanic I was sent to someone's voicemail or told that they would text him. When I finally reached him on Tuesday I was told the repair to my car would take two additional days as the part would need to be ordered. It is now Friday and I have tried but failed to reach the mechanic after four attempts. this is my only form of transportation so not having a car for this long or even knowing when it will be ready is crazy and completely unprofessional.
