WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT PURCHASE HERE!!!! Please please buyers beware. This company has been the literal worst financial decision I've made in my life. Buying a new car should be pleasurable and exciting and they have forever stained this experience for me and my wife. (This is the abbreviated version trust me!) Not only did they completely bamboozle us with all sorts of hidden fees and charges that were never mentioned or explained during the buying process, it was hidden in paperwork we were told to read in our leisure as we signed other pages. They roped us in for a "managers special" vehicle with just under 5k miles for $17,995 online. The salesperson SEAN promised it to me for $16,600. If we moved on it, so of course we came in that day. But when me and my wife, hard working missionaries that support ourselves with our own business, were looking to sale the car as we're moving out the country, we kept trying to figure out why the car was so upside down even though it's only been a year. Something told me to read through all these papers and OH BOY! Not only did RICHARD in accounts charge us a base price of $21,995., for the vehicle (neither sale price is anywhere in the paperwork) but we were also charged $5k for a rebate as a down payment that we never knew or agreed too! In addition we were billed for a 100k mile warranty that ran parallel with the natural warranty of the car! So essentially we are paying for a warranty that expires with the free warranty they gave us. 2 weeks ago I called for answers and I was told I would be called back in 2 hours, I was late to work waiting and they never called! I called back later that day on my break and KATHY finally got Richard on the phone magically after I waited all day. He sends me a cancellation form via email that has our names spelled completely wrong so I emailed and called back to get this corrected so we could sign...2 weeks later, several voicemails and emails later still NO REPLY. This is not even the worst part, last time I was in store inquiring about selling or trading my vehicle and buying a 2nd car, some red headed salesperson threatened me and told me to leave because despite me saying I was just there to look and get prices and I didn't need a sales rep, he still ran my credit (which I asked him not to do, he said he wasn't and he did. It was a hard hit) and tried his hardest to get me to buy something when I made clear that I only wanted to look and send pictures to my wife at work. I guess out of anger and frustration he got upset, turned red in the face and clinched his fist and told me to hurry up and get out of his face as he was shaking violently, I tried to shake his hand and say thanks for his time and reexplain I really just was there to take pictures and apologize and he threw my keys at me (I had to give them my keys for them to inspect my car and give me an estimate). Since I bought this car last August my customer service interactions have all been extremely negative, Kathy has always promised to call me back in an hour or so and literally had never called back I have to keep calling, Richard is a top of the line con artist according to the other dealerships I've let review this paperwork, but apparently in the car business it's legal. But lying to my face and having me sign papers and avoiding these items you've billed me for to get a bigger commission check should not be legal. Then with me and my wife having 690 Credit scores at the time how is our APR 7.34%??? We both had years of good credit history. We were newlywed and excited about buying this car and we were very very dumb, they got us good! Please DO NOT EVER let them sucker you unless you are paying cash. I don't see how they sleep at night with a good conscious. We'll be paying over $38k for a $16.6k car after ford has finished prostituting us. Even if we sell it for its current value we'll have a carnote for close to what the original car was supposed to be. Other than the fact they punctured a quarter size hole in my tire during my last oil change, which now I have to deal with, the work shop has been the only decent experience with this entire location. Based off this bad experience I'd never buy another ford in my life. UPDATE: It has been a week since Nick Hobbs the manager asked me to reach out to him after seeing my Yelp review. After several calls and emails I still have not heard back from this man or any member of his staff. He clearly has no intention on helping me resolve these issues! read more

I made an appt and brought my truck in thursday morning about a check engine light. i received no status updates thursday or friday. friday afternoon i called several times and couldn't get anyone on the phone and left several messages with no return call. the service dept is open on saturdays. i called saturday morning and got no one on the phone. left another message. called saturday afternoon and finally got a service advisor on the phone. he said my truck hadn't been looked at yet. it will probably be monday when it's looked at. i called monday mid day to notify them i was picking up my truck since they hadn't even looked at it yet. at that time they got my service advisor on the phone and she told me they had diagnosed my truck and would call carmax about warranty claim and call me back about what my cost would be. they call me back monday afternoon and tell me it will cost me $579 and the parts should arrive tuesday morning. service advisor said she would call me wednesday afternoon for an update. service advisor never called. thursday morning i get a text stating that my truck is ready and i can pay online. i they should not accept a vehicle for service until the day they can actually look at the vehicle. i have been paying for a rental car the entire time and could have driven my truck for 4 more days and dropped it off monday morning the day they first looked at my truck. they also need to call daily and to provide status updates. i don't know what is going on with my truck while they have it. i should have to call daily and leave numerous messages. none of those calls were returned. I don't expect my vehicle to be serviced instantly but i do expect that if i make an appt that you look at my vehicle that day or the next morning and to be updated daily read more

I recently (2 weeks ago) bought my second car from Five Star Ford and even though it wasn't a completely horrible experience, it definitely was not a 5 star one. First thing I want to make clear is this is a car dealership like any other. The sales people are going to try to get over on the trade in, rebates, financing etc. You really must do your full homework and go the numbers you expect and stick to them. Like any dealership I had to do the dance in order to get the exact deal that I wanted, so i'm not going to rate them based on that since its pretty much standard. What I will hit them on are a couple of things that I find to be unacceptable for a dealership. 1.) The advertised a car on their website that they did not have in stock, and when I emailed about the vehicle didn't inform me that it was no longer in stock. This is the second time and as many purchases that this has happened to me. The first time was in 2013 when I purchased an escape for my wife, we ended up settling on another color that she liked that was in stock. This time, once again they didn't have the color they were advertising in stock. They had to end up getting my car from another dealership, but I had to wait 3 days after signing my paperwork to actually get the car i paid for. They did put me in a same model car to drive around in while I waited, so that somewhat made up for it, but having seen this twice I'm starting to think they do this often. 2.) The sales associate I had AJ, while being an extremely nice individual, was extremely slow in just about every phase of the purchase. He took forever getting my initial pre-finance paperwork together. I arrived at the dealership at about 5:00pm, I didn't leave until about 9:30. The previous car I bought went a lot quicker, but still took over 1.5 hours. Being there for over 4.5 hours however is unacceptable. The truth is five star ford is convenient for me to go to, and has some of the best internet pricing on cars in the Atlanta area. Factor the good and bad in and I am comfortable recommending them as a 3 star dealership, just don't expect to be impressed. read more

2014 F350 has a death wobble so I take it in to get it fixed and have an oil change. They bring a "specialist" in and charge me 5200 for parts and labor. driving it home oil light comes on and getting off the exit I get the wobble again. They never changed my oil filter so I can assume they didn't change the oil. Call to see how they are going to fix the situation and never got a response. read more

After reading other reviews I have to wonder if customers let the management know before they left when they were not satisfied completely. As with any business there are times of difficult circumstances... Employees call in sick at the last minute, part not in, etc. that may delay service completion. However, when those rare occurrences happen and I mention it to management both John and Josh do whatever is necessary to make sure I leave as a satisfied customer. Brandi went out of her way and stayed an extra hour and a half so I could pick up my car on the day I needed it when a part did not arrive on time. Josh adjusted the price due to the inconvenience. I have purchased several new vehicles here and remain a satisfied customer. read more

I give this dealership four stars because they worked with me. They realized that I was an educated consumer and treated me as such. My salesperson, AJ was a bit aloof and really a typical car salesman. But in the end, if you understand that the salespeople are really just a filtering mechanism to start the process of the deal and then walk away when the real deal is being made, you won't have high expectations. The manager that closed my deal was steadfast at sticking to his price, but when I told him the truth about why he should come down on the price, we got to the point that made both of us happy. In the end, the financing and drafting of the papers took a bit longer than I would have liked but I walked away with an amazing deal and an even better car. I would highly recommend you do your homework and then head over to Five Star Ford in Stone Mountain to buy your vehicle. They don't mess around and are eager to make the sale. The only reason why I held back the fifth star is because the salesperson was nice but a bit of an idiot. And the paperwork took entirely too long. read more

Service people very professional and pleasant. Great place for warranty related work. If your here for a basic oil change service, bring a pillow and a blanket. Let me start by saying I wasn't real happy at first because of a discrepancy in the original purchase agreement we made verbally, but these folks are honest and worked real hard to gain my trust back real quick like. We had a little misunderstanding at time of purchase but I figured once I talked to the GM the next day all would be corrected well not so much but after talking to David the customer service manager he was able to get everything squared away and cleared everything up and made the situation right. Thanks David a huge shout out to you! I think these guys are fare and honest and now have my respect and I will do busy with them again and I highly recommend them. read more

I went to Five Star Ford Service department today due to an alarm displaying in the dash in my 2018 Ford Escape reminding me to have my oil changed. My mileage sticker indicated that it was not time yet, as I do not drive this vehicle a lot... I work at home. The totals were 2,000 different. The Service Manager gave me an option to have my oil changed or he could could adjust the mileage in the alarm. I asked him to adjust the alarm, which he did. He also gave me a date to have the oil change in case I did not reach the mileage on the sticker. The Service Manager was extremely professional and helpful. read more

My husband and I spent a couple of hours Saturday morning making this deal. It was not fast at all. We were given a brochure for Sirius satellite radio and told, "Here is the information on your Sirius radio". Once home, we went to connect the satellite radio but the radio display read "no sat radio". I called the man who sold us the vehicle and he says, Oh, that model doesn't come with satellite radio. Multiple calls and a visit to the dealership and they insisted that they didn't deceive us. Not happy with their sales service at all. We have purchased two vehicles from them. Very disappointed. I would say I've experienced better buying a car from another dealership but to date, never have. The take away? Ask about EVERYTHING before you sign the papers. Richard was excellent. He walked us through the entire process and went above and beyond our expectations in factory ordering the exact model and options we wanted. He was patient and answered every single question we had. His follow-up during the weeks we waited for deliver were outstanding, letting us know where the vehicle was in the process of ordering and building. Larry, the manager, was also helpful and engaged with the process from the beginning. During the delivery Richard went over everything clearly and even went out to the vehicle with us to give us a "tour" of the vehicle. They made the whole process easy and enjoyable! read more

Worst customer service I have ever had!! I took my Ford F250 diesel in because the light came on saying low fuel pressure. Cedric Johnson was my service guy at Five Star Ford. He informed me that they would do a diagnostic and let me know what the issue is. He calls me back the same day tell me that they took some gas from my tank and that there was water separation and contaminated fuel. He took a picture of the gas in a jar to send to me. Then he proceeds to tell that I have two options a fuel injection cleans at a cost of $2500 or a new fuel system at a cost of $13000. He tells me I can file a claim with my insurance company or the company I purchase the diesel from. Both kroger and my insurance company did a fuel lab test from the gas that ford took from my truck and they both came back negative for water nor contamination in fuel. Ford never took a lab test but assumed that my fuel was contaminated. They were more focus on getting an insurance claim then solving my issue. They had my truck for over a month and pressuring me to leave it there. They even attempted to contact my insurance company without my permission wow! I finally pick my truck up today and they tell me I owe $405 for a diagnostic. My question was. What did you diagnos??my truck was running when I took it and was running when I pick it up. If my gas was so contaminated and full of water. Why is it still running normal. I was very disappointed in service that was provided at Five Star Ford and will contact corporate concerning this matter. Please do not take you vehicle here. read more

They advertise an internet pricing on F150 for $33,030. False advertising have stipulations for that price not listed on ad. Wanted alot more money. Internet pricing on F150 truck for $33,030. Only states price includes any and all factory or certificate issued rebates. Sale price includes dealer fee. First night there truck not running correctly tried to sell me a higher price truck. Next night truck fixed, first tried to include $699 dealer fee. Then internet price comes with stipulations not listed in ad. Have to trade in a vechile, have to do ford standard financing. Said if I want 0% for 72 months financing that they advertise on their web site have to pay $9000 more. Again none of these stipulations listed on sale price ad. Feel that this is false advertising if all these stipulations not listed anywhere in ad price. Get you in there with ad and add on all kind of increases to price. Sean Roberts indicated early on that he was not operating in my best interest when he brought me paperwork padded with a $700 doc fee when the X-Plan stated implicitly that there was a $100 cap on that fee when purchasing with the plan. He feigned ignorance of this until I provided the documentation stating the agreement. I was open-minded and trusting until this happened, and it became clear that he was not keeping my best interests in mind as we made the deal. He blamed it on someone else, and told me it was just an oversight. In my estimation, it's the salesperson's responsibility to insure that a customer's bill is not being padded to increase dealership profits. I was on guard from that point and relegated to doing my own "checking" of all of the details related to buying the car. Sean also tried to convince me that I would lose some of the discount available if I didn't finance. I balked at this because I knew better. He went and checked with someone & relented after what I already knew was confirmed. This was strike two in the trust and respect category. Also, the Bumper Protector, one of the add-ons I had selected, was not placed on the car the day I signed the final paperwork, due to it "bubbling up" when the service dept. tried to apply it. I had forewarned Sean that I would not buy the car unless everything selected was present & accounted for at time of purchase. Through many, many emails back and forth between Sean, Gene Diehl & myself, I was finally able to get them to ship the Protector to me after the Trunk Organizer I selected in its place turned out to be a flimsy, cheap, worthless item. They eventually shipped it to me WITHOUT my apartment number on the shipping label, and also with the wrong Zip plus-4, making it necessary for me to create a UPS account to go in and have them deliver it to a UPS store. I feel that this was a passive aggressive tactic that was confirmed when the Protector arrived in a very small box, dented & dinged from how tightly it had to be coiled to fit. I had agreed not to leave a neg. rating if they shipped this, after much haranguing with Sean & Gene, w/Gene practically coercing me to agree to leave positive feedback if they did. This was the final insult with regards to a part that was supposed to be on the car when I drove away, and now sits in a box headed for the garbage. Sean seemed like a nice guy--I'll give him that. If he had treated me respectfully & had my best interests in mind, I would not be leaving negative comments & ratings. But, between his & Gene Diehl's ridiculous shenanigans over a cheap piece of plastic-- the Bumper Protector, they truly reinforced every single negative stereotype that people have about car dealerships & the car buying experience. Gene Diehl & Rob Pope washed their hands of me after the car was mine, choosing not to respond to emails until I emailed Sean again, stating I was going to leave negative feedback unless they answered my concerns. (Gene, about the bumper protector, and Rob about the license plate when I inquired as to how and when I should expect to receive it, which was not clear to me at the time of purchase.) To treat someone who has just spent nearly $30K as if they do not even deserve the courtesy of a response is reprehensible and rude. Gene must not work very many days at the dealership, given how often he used the excuse that he was "off" and that was why he was unresponsive. I chose to communicate solely via email with them and had made this clear from the beginning with Sean, as I was endeavouring to document everything, as I do any time I am purchasing something as expensive as a car. They clearly did not like, nor respect my desired mode of engagement. Gene's "best friend" act was so transparent from the moment I met him; my intuition also told me that the looks I kept getting from the guys behind the short wall deciding things were driven by what was being said about me. It was a very uncomfortable situation with me feeling that I was being made out to be difficult by what was being said to them. I felt like the enemy, although I was there to make a huge purchase. Rob confirmed this, in my mind, at least, when I grew tired of how long it was taking to finalize the paperwork. Sean had disappeared for what seemed like forever, appearing again instantly, paperwork completed, like a Jack-Out-Of-The-Box, when I asked the lady at the front desk where he had gone & why it was taking so long. Rob took me into his office to sign the final paperwork, commenting that he wasn't playing video games on the computer, mentioning something about what people think of millenials, clearly a swipe admonishing me for "rushing" them--indicative of the fact that he thought he was reading my mind about why I thought they had belabored the point so with finalizing the purchase. I brushed it off, but it was a point well received, and an ageist bit of drivel at that. I would never purchase anything from this dealership again!!! read more

I think every businesses goal should be to enhance the customers experience, unfortunately the Parts department of Five Star Ford does not feel the same way. Called in to see if part was in stock you would think I insulted the man by not having my Vin available. The man was beyond impatient and very rude. When I got to the parts counter the man wouldn't even look at me while he shuffled a stapler and tape on the desk. I finally greeted him with "good morning" as it seemed he may be having another bad day. Still rude and obnoxious he never asked what I was there for so I felt free to let him know I was picking up a part. If I knew they would mark a Fuel Pressure Sensor up 120% I would have never ordered the part. The same part they charged $111 for was going for $60 at Advance and Autozone. I was in the market for a used vehicle. I found a "decent" car on-line, researched it, verified that it was available, multiple times, and wife and I drove 45 minutes to Five star Ford. Upon arrival, we were not able to immediately locate the car on the lot. After about 10 minutes of searching, a Sales Person - Mike- noticed two people wandering in circles on the lot and asked if he could assist. Explained to him that I was looking for a specific vehicle, gave him the Stock number, and he took off to find it. 10 minutes later he comes by on a golf cart and says he has the keys, but he cannot locate it. Another 10 minutes pass and I jump on the cart with him and we drive to the back of the back-lot and sure enough, there it is. Mike gives me the keys and says "What do you think". I asked if we could drive it around front to show my wife and he agreed. Upon starting the vehicle it immediately complained "Check the Charging System" and there was no Power Steering. After about 3-5 minutes both systems started working. Mysterious. Car is "As Is - No Warranty" but Mike goes the extra mile and promises me 2 months - 2000 mile warranty. That makes me happy!! Wife liked the car, I liked the car. I had already done the hard work to work with my preferred lender to pre-qualify the loan - had all the paperwork done and in hand, worked with my insurer to make certain that they were ready to add the vehicle to the policy, and was ready to buy....Everything should be SIMPLE and EASY. Not so much.... Silly me I did not realize that there are about $1000.00 dollars in JUNK FEES that are tacked on by the dealer. These fees are not negotiable. Doc Fees, Tile Fees (in excess of GA DOR requirements) and more. I explained that if they want to sell this care, they need to work on their fees. and they chose not to. Was told that they had another similar vehicle coming in and that would call me... and have yet to call me.... I did not buy the car there and I would not recommend it to anyone... except maybe my worst enemy or my ex-wife. Oh, and yes I did find what I was looking for at another dealership, Newer car, less miles, lower price. Their Doc Fee was ADVERTISED and PART OF THE PRICE of the car. No surprises equals a SALE! Their Finance guy could not have been happier when I told him the loan was already done. Punched in a few numbers on his computer and it's done! They were even smart enough to see sale standing in front of them and did everything to make me happy! read more

Horrible experience buying my latest car! I am a well educated car buyer, therefore upon arriving at the dealership, I informed the salesperson what vehicle i wanted to purchase, my Fred it score and the total balance on my lease. Also, that My spouse is a retired ford employee and I would by utilizing our discount and would not be applying rebate to deal. First issue, despite me informing the sales person the exact amount of my lease payoff, the dealership came in $2k short. I asked the salesman several times how they came up with the payoff and he stated from the credit bureau. I than asked why they did not contact Ford Motor Credit directly to abstain payoff. I was informed again that there calculations were correct. Second issue, do to my employee discount my doc fees are only $75, they attempted to charge me $700 dollars, which I had to inform them was incorrect and they later adjusted. Third, after signing of documents for new vehicle and beginning lease termination process, they realized their mistake with lease balance. At which time they attempted to redo contact and increase monthly payment to cover balance of lease payoff. I refused! They said no worries they would cover the balance do to there error. Know my issue is my rebate payment. This payment was promised within two weeks if purchase. Well it is now week three, I contacted dealership today and was informed my rebate was utilized to pay lease shortage. Therefore could not be issued until loan was paid and they received payment from finance company. This entire purchase had been a nightmare, because they did not listen to the client. I came up here to look for a car with high expectations and not the greatest budget. Pervis was my salesperson and he went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and help me find the car I want AND could afford! He dealt with me for 3 days! And not a single second passed where he seemed annoyed or hopeless. I knew I was asking for a lot but after the third day he finally found one for me that was the perfect fit! I absolutely love it and I loved how hard he truly tried and never gave up on me. I can't thank him enough! Everyone there at the dealership was wonderful too! Jojo, another salesperson, helped me out as well even though I wasn't his client! He went out of his way for me quite a few times and I'm so appreciative of the both of them! Job well done guys! From picking out the vehicle, talking about all of the options, and working the deal, the sales team really went the extra mile to make sure we were well taken care of. Very disappointment. I have a Mustang...stereo display went blank so I took it to the dealer.. My service manager told me to replace APIM which was functioning properly and I paid $900 for the APIM..but that didn't work ... =screen was still blank. He told me that they have to keep trying to fix car until they fixed my car and I have to pay each and every services and parts fees. I decided to take my car back but wiper wasn't functioning ..when I asked, they said I have to replace wiper motor... But wiper motor was good , wiper fuse was in wrong place. I found that they just want to replace parts without knowing what is going with a car.. SOUNDS LIKE LOOTING PEOPLE. read more

Five Star Ford charged me $787to replace the purge valve on my 2013 Ford Escape, including $600 for labor. Gwinett Ford's cost for same was $240 (including part) and the Car Repair website estimated $240-$350 nationwide including parts and labor. The Service Manager says 4 hours @ $150/ hour for a minor repair, and that he didn't care what other places might do, and the GM never returned my call. read more

I just bought a 2018 Expedition from salesperson Michael Allen, and it was definitely the best car buying experience I have had. He was very patient with us, not pushy at all, and we ended up getting a great deal on a beautiful car to suit our growing family. At one point, I was afraid we might have to walk away from the deal due to what I will call a miscommunication, but thankfully they came through and honored the purchase price quoted, even though I decided not to trade in my vehicle at the price they offered. I also appreciate that I get my first service on them and that they offer a lifetime power train warranty through this dealership. I would definitely recommend Five Star Ford and specifically Michael to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle. He will make sure you're taken care of! read more

-10/17, bought a '17 Focus. Before purchase, partner and I do exhaustive research to be sure the transmission clutch issue from previous models no longer exists in this current model. Everything we can find says the primary issue is resolved. When we buy the car, we are reassured by the salesperson of the same thing. We we buy it. Buy a maintenance plan provided by the dealership at the time of purchase and the extended warranty (7yr/100k) Fast forward to first 5k oil change/maintenance. Get charged for oil change and have to argue that I bought a service package from the dealership and shouldn't be paying for this service. "We don't keep the records where we can see that, you always have to tell us." Well ... weird, it's the dealership's service department, but okay, sure. I'll remind you each time I visit, I guess. 10k oil change/inspection. "Hey, I noticed there's a lot of stutter/catching when I accelerate or decelerate, is this normal?" They say they'll drive it around and see if they can catch the same stutter and then inspect it. I pick up the car, they report no stutter detected. I mention the transmission clutch issue from past models. Reassured again this is not a problem with my model. We're at 20k miles and 2 years after purchase, so 10/19. I am told, "We think you should get on the books for the transmission clutch repair. Totally covered under warranty, you just pay the deductible. We don't KNOW if there's a problem without keeping the car for a day, but this model is known to have that issue, so you should come in and have this checked." I dispute, explaining I was reassured on multiple occasions this isn't an issue with this model. They say it is. How urgent do they think this is? They can't say without an inspection. I ask if they have loner cars, because I don't have alt. transportation to work. "Not right now." I say when I come back for my next oil change, I'll schedule then. 25k mark. notice the stutter/shuddering is getting worse and more frequent. Call the service department to discuss options, to ask about how the warranty process works and assure I'll have a loner car. The moment I ask for this additional information beyond just "scheduling an appointment," I get sent to a voicemail. I repeat five or six times over the next two months. I try the online chat support on the dealership website. Assured that I will get a call next-day for an appointment and a breakdown of the service, expected service time, warranty process, etc. Nothing. I wait two weeks. I start calling again. Same routine - voicemail. I drive up on a Saturday morning, and talk with Keith Johnson about the issue. He says there's really nothing he can do because all their loner cars are out. I ask how long it'll be before one is available. He says a week or two, probably. They have a waiting list. I ask to be put on the waiting list. He says I'm #7 on the list. I call back a week later, and am told there IS no waiting list for these kinds of services and/or loner cars. I argue that I spoke to Keith. I'm put on hold, when I'm back on the line, I'm advised that there IS in fact a list! But now I'm #11 on the list. Partner assures me it's because I have the extended warranty and there's no "urgency" for them - and they won't make any money off the service, so they don't care to make it a priority. All I want is to be put on the books with a date and time I can drop off my car and get a loner and have this issue fixed. My son is starting to drive now and I want to be sure the vehicle he's learning on and is likely to inherit in a year or two is in good shape. And I really need an oil change now. Clearly, they do not value people who have the warranty since their revenue generation is impacted by the arrangement. I would not recommend bothering with it. read more

Headline for this review: "Yes, BUT..." We had a great car-buying experience. The salesperson was knowledgeable, easy to work with, and not pushy, and we got a good price on the car we wanted. (And we are VERY happy with the car.) However, once the car was selected and the price agreed, it went downhill. We found the individuals we worked with and their actions distasteful as well as costly to us. Specifically: 1. It is apparently the job of the salesperson to sell the car and close the deal, and the job of the finance office to make sure that the deal is profitable. In the hours (two visits) that my wife and I spent with the finance officer, he basically refused to take no for an answer for all the addition coverages and options he wanted to sell us. He just would not stop (calmly and pleasantly) arguing. We bought the gap insurance for $800 dollars. We then check with our insurance company--their price for it was $20 per year. He was the same way pushing pre-paid oil changes / routine maintenance. (Note - bankrate.com estimates gap insurance at $20-30 per year; my insurance company is apparently not unusual.) 2. They blew the paperwork the sent to DMV for the license. It was sent back to them (and they were fined over $100 for wasting DMV's time). On the day the temporary license expired, my wife went to DMV to try to get the permanent tag. Because the dealer had not resubmitted the paperwork in a timely manner, it took three visits, each of which took as long as 2 1/2 hours, while the DMV tried to straighten things out and find it (this includes the typical unavoidable wait time at DMV--but she should only have had to go through that once, not three times.) In the course of this, the title and tag person lied to DMV, saying that they had given my wife a tracking number, which they had not. 3. The salesman promised a free cargo net for the car. It took 5 weeks for them to remember and order it, and they ordered one that doesn't fit the car. I would give them 5 stars for the pure sales experience, but knock them down to one star for the overall hassle. (The GM has told me that their problem with the title and tag was due to some personnel issues; I get that, but still, it shouldn't be our problem, especially not to the extent of the impact on us that we experienced.) read more

This dealership is your typical bad car lot. I wanted to buy a truck from them and sell my jeep to a local dealer here in my local area with Five Star doing the paperwork so i would save on the taxes. Five Star in Snellville would not do it because they don't get to make money on my trade. Most dealer will do this so I called their sister store in Warner Robbins. I talked with Tom Hicks which is a great guy. He agreed to do the deal and sent me the paperwork. He called to get the truck and the general manager Adam of the Snellville store decided to act like a child and not give them the truck. He would rather blow a sale for the whole network of dealerships they have than either help me with my trader or let his sister store have the truck to sell me. So if you are in the market for a new truck, find another dealership! read more

I had a terrible service experience here. Hunter, a service advisor, initially argued with me whether or not parts were defective on my new 2018 Fiesta. John, the manager, agreed they were and things were fixed. However, an oil cooler line, which a separate mechanic told me was leaking (on a supposed brand new vehicle) was never changed. Instead, I have to go back to check it again. BS. Not to mention, I was never called and told when my car would be ready. Icing on the cake,they stole my wife's cell phone charger cable!!! read more

This crew went above and beyond to help us get in to our new Expedition. We presented a few challenges to Rob and GM Nathan and they worked feverishly until the hurdles were jumped and we were driving home in a new ride. When you are potentially buying a car, this dealership is out of the way nice and helpful. But, I had a company car delivered to this dealership and they were rude and terrible. I highly recommend you drive just a few more miles down HWY 78 and go to Loganville Ford dealership, they are great. I would never go back to this dealership. Greg read more

I brought my 2013 C-Max in to have the Ford Recall on the modem performed and was told that they did not have the part that day and that I would need to schedule an appointment to have the service performed. So, I scheduled an appointment two weeks out and asked the lady who scheduled the appointment if they would have the required parts by the time I brought the car in and she said they would. She advised me that I should have the car there first thing in the morning to make sure they would have time to do the needed repair. I asked her what the earliest time I could bring the car in and she said I could leave it overnight and just fill out an envelope and put the key in it and they would get to it when they opened. So, I bring the car in the night before, about 11:45 PM, and I can't get to the service department because the gate to the lot is locked. I bring the car in at 7:00 AM the next morning and leave it with them all day, so they can have the time they need to do the work. I call them at about 2:30 PM to check the status - and, they can't tell me anything. Someone calls me about an hour later and tells me that they need to order the part and I will have to bring the car in again next week - and, leave it with them all day. Well, that excuse didn't work for me; because, they knew they needed the part, and so did I - two weeks earlier. They tried to tell me that some of the modems didn't need to be replaced and they couldn't know whether mine needed to be replaced until they "inspected" it. But, the Ford recall is quite clear and specific, leaving no room for ambiguity - ALL of the modems in the affected vehicle models MUST be replaced. And, they had two weeks to order the needed parts. But, they did nothing with the car. They had it all day and couldn't even be bothered to tell me that they couldn't do the job until 3:30 PM. At this point, I don't care whether they ever get the part in. I'm not giving them the opportunity to cost me more money by keeping my car another whole day, only to give me some lame excuse for why they did nothing with it. It's clear that they either care nothing about their service customers, or they're grossly incompetent. And, I don't care which it is. Stick a fork in me, I'm done! EDIT: The dealership reached out to me and apologized for the problems that I had, explained what went wrong, and took care of the recall replacement of the modem without me having to do anything. They sent two employees out to retrieve the car, take it back to the dealership to perform the needed work, and returned it within three hours. I could not have asked for anything more. Thanks! I left the original review intact; because, I think it is important for readers to understand both the problem and the solution. We all make mistakes in life. What matters is how we respond to them. I was having an issue with my right rear brake on my 2012 Ford Escape and went to this dealership which recently changed hands. The new owners sure know what they are doing because the customer service in their service department is outstanding! The manager, David Jordan, behind the counter at the Victory Lane was not only nice but someone who took great care of his customer. The technician was taking a long time to figure out what was wrong and it was well after lunch time. The manager called for a porter to drive me down to a take-out restaurant to get a quick carry-out! Now that is awesome customer service. Obviously the management has empowered their employees to do what it takes for excellent customer service. Way to Go Five Star Ford. You really deserve 5 stars! read more
