The name says it all if I could rate them higher than five I would . I recently bought a used Gsxr 600 . I took it in for full maintenance it turned out the throttle body sensor was the reason for a check light that was on and was quite expensive to get a new one. The staff found someone on Ebay shout out to Steven that was able to repair it for 75 dollars and didn't charge me any labor for them to take off and ship out then put back in . Straight fucking theives the mechanics will steal pieces off of your bike and then the owner will claim that you never had them even with proof he'll still deny that he stealing parts. Had a new Power Commander V in my bike that I installed myself had my work only done at their motorcycle shop for oil changes and tire changes and mysteriously my power commander disappeared but they claim they don't have it or never seen it installed in the bike do not take your equipment here as any money you spend is probably on stolen goods. read more

I came across Pablo and his crew by accident, and I for sure am very grateful that I did. I commute on my 07' R6 from Riverside to Cerritos for work. Yesterday transitioning from the 91W to the 605S, I felt my shoe and pant leg damp. I looked down to horror of oil shooting out of the left side. Knowing the nearest exit was cutting across to the 605N and onto Alondra, I had no choice but to get to this exit - any exit - as soon as possible. Pulled off the shoulder on the Alondra exit and examined the issue. Definitely oil spewing out, shoe and pant leg soaked. Looked up my phone to find a shop that would possible be near by and BOOM, Five Star Motorcycles down the road and around the corner. Had no choice but to walk the bike over to prevent any more damage so I went on my way with full gear with the bike to my side. After an hour commute and then walking a long distance with all my gear, I was exhausted. Ended up dropping the bike because I lost my grip and strength left me from fatigue. Almost as soon as I had dropped the bike, a car with two gentleman pulled up in a car and ran out to help me. Turns out this was Tony and a customer who actually saw me walking when they were driving down the opposite direction and turned around to check up on me. They told me to take a breather, get in the car, and Tony went ahead and took my bike himself to the shop. Tony immediately put my bike on the lift to inspect what was going on. At this point I was a little hesitant for them to touch the bike because I'll be honest, I don't have a lot of money sitting around for repairs. Tony almost instantly found the issue and I pulled him to the side and being upfront that I'm short for cash at the moment (rent, school loans takes it's toll). Let's put it this way, they barely charged me a penny just to help me out on the fix. Not only that, I even noticed their mechanic making sure my chain was okay and checking out little things here and there that I hadn't even asked. To put the cherry on top, Pablo took responsibility that I'd be safe on my way by giving my ride a wash and clearing off ANY oil on the bike, especially the rear tire. I talked to Tony and Pablo for a good while when they were working on my bike. I take pride in having the innate ability to judge character and these two guys definitely have respectable and reputable character when it comes to customer service and caring for patrons. The garage felt more like a hang out and eased the intimidation most shops give off to new customers. I would highly suggest this place for newer riders who might be scared to take their bikes to any shops because these guys treat you in a way you're not afraid to ask questions or concerns. These guys are hard workers, very kind and very knowledgeable. I went to them because I was recommended by a friend, and man am I glad I listened! I talked to the owner (Pablo) over the phone and an hour later I was there for tires replacement. He gave me a great price on a new one and a more than reasonable price for labor. Overall a great experience and anything my warranty doesn't cover, I'll be going to them from now on. Cons: Is a bit hard to find the place because it doesn't look like a bike shop, but, hopefully they will relocate to a nicer place, so... let's bring them some business! read more

I've been coming here ever since I had my 07 CBRR. I have a '13 Iron 883 now and even then, Pablo and his crew takes great care of my bike. LSS: My CBRR that was always serviced here was hit and run in a shopping center. Pablo came, picked up my bike, and did everything and fought with the insurance company to make sure I got the original parts that were in my bike. The reason why it's not a 5 star is, they can make little mistakes. The kickstand I bought from Pablo before the accident took almost 3 weeks to replace as my bike was lowered and every single distributor didn't have it (I called to many locations all over the country and no one had them in stock). When it WAS replaced, it was missing the bolt that helps you kick the stand back when you take off. I showed Pablo and he said he was going to replace it, but by the time it was ready, I got a Harley instead. NOW. Pablo wasn't there the day I went in, but normally, Pablo gives military discount and a clear break down of prices when I get service done. I got oil change on my harley AND a wash. Pablo ALWAYS throws in some kind of combo. I got my bill (and 4 hours later), I got charged $140.00 o.O uh... It wasn't synthetic oil, either. The wash was... OKAY upon initial inspection. I saw a lot of grime on my exhaust before the was that was still there. The guy working said "You have to buy steel wool and get it off." Okay... I paid for a $@#ing wash and you tell me AFTERWARDS? That wouldn't have flown with Pablo. Everything is upfront with him. I went home disappointed that I dropped the same amount of money that a Harley Davidson dealership would've done without excuses about what wasn't going to get cleaned AFTER the job was done. I took out a RAG, not steel wool, and put in 3 minutes of elbow grease and my exhaust was clean. I ONLY come here to get my bike work done... and if you walk in the back you'll see all types of bikes from Harleys, Yamaha, Suzuki, Ducatti, you name it they're all there. But my best experience was with my CBRR AND talking directly to Pablo. Though the mechanics there know me, I wouldn't get a quote unless it was from Pablo himself. read more

Just got my license and bought a used bike off craigslist. Never know what you going to get so looked up shops near me and decided to come here based of previous good reviews. I showed up at 6, which is closing time for the shop. Jose, who I have been emailing, helped me out anyways! I just came for a visual inspection, make sure my bike was in good riding shape. I was probably expecting for him to tell me I need or should change this. He was completely honest and gave my bike the thumbs up! Even checked and adjusted my tire pressure, all after hours. Fantastic! I went with my husband to get our bike fixed. These guys were professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and were all working (not standing around like at some shops). They asked what we wanted and gave us a written estimate. They didn't go above the estimate out try to swindle us (as a female I've had shops try to pull a fast one)-- these guys were honest and fair. We bought a chain and sprocket set intending to fix the bike ourselves but never had the time, they didn't mind and the bike runs better than it every has! The prices were also very fair. I not only will be going back if we need any other work, but I would totally recommend them! Side note--they fix all kinds of bikes. Anyway, I made it off to the shoulder in one piece and realized that Five Star Motorcycles was in plain sight from the freeway. I gave them a call as soon as I could as they were just about to close. I have been going to Five Star Motorcycles for a while now. I knew the owner Pablo prior to him opening this establishment when he worked for a bike shop in Long Beach. He has always provided me with excellent customer service and his knowledge of motorcycles and how to fix them is top notch. He has built a fine team of skilled and knowledgeable technicians to help him operate his ever growing business. I felt compelled to share my happiness about the most recent service I had done just yesterday. A MUCH needed FULL maintenance on my 2005 Yamaha YZFR6. I just crossed over the 71,000 mile mark and really needed every part the full service comes with. Spark plugs, cleaned air filter, valve adjustment, fresh coolant and break fluids as well a chain adjustment and tons of moving parts cleaned and lubricated. My bike is so smooth now and I can literally feel its power restored. Such a great feeling! My only form of transportation currently is my bike. I really couldn't afford to be without my ride for too long since I have to rely on others to help me get around when I am without it. Five star finished my complete service in just one day without compromising the quality of workmanship. I can fully understand the frustration one must feel when his/her safety is in danger. But it's not fair to knock a whole shop for the incompetence of one 'mechanic.' After reading this the previous review I was a bit skeptical. But the shop crew assured me of their work and the guy that messed up was no longer there. That being said, these guys were awesome. I have dealt with other shops and Stealerships, but the folks at 5 Star made me feel comfortable. I love to ride but am a total novice when it comes to motor parts. They broke down everything for me, answered all questions (stupid or not), they were patient, kept their word when it came to the time frames that they set. And have had no issues! I ask a few people who rode and ALL of them told me to go to Five Star Motorcycles , even the people who weren't in the area but took the drive to come here. Pablo and Tony are the best. Warning!!! I am not sure how qualified the mechanics are but I would never bring my bike to five star ever again! The head guy Pablo, the manger offered me and my associate great customer service over the phone and when we arrived to their business. I am really serious when it comes to my safety and health, so I ordered 2 of the best tires they had to offer for my bike. After the tires were installed, the mechanic who worked on my bike, took my bike for a test ride. When he comes back from the test ride, he gives me my keys and says everything is good to go. We leave and get on the S/B 605 to the W/B SR 91 and exit Lakewood blvd. MY BUDDY NOTICE MY REFLECTOR IS HANGING OFF. WE PULL INTO THE MALL TO CHECK WHY MY REFLECTOR WAS HANGING. AFTER INVESTIGATING, WE FOUND MY FRONT BREAK CALIBER WAS HANGING OFF WITH 1 SCREW MISSING AND 1 SCREW BARELY SCREWED IN. IF THAT CALIBER WOULD HAVE COME COMPLETELY OFF WHILE WE WERE TRAVELING ON THE FREEWAY, THINGS COULD HAVE GOTTEN UGLY!! As a motorcycle rider, we all know that their is no room for error when it comes to maintenance on your bike, ESPECIALLY THE FRONT TIRE. I've been going here for a couple years now only for tire changes since I don't really trust mechanics and now I have another reason. I took my front tire here and made sure to clean off all the dust on the rims and the next day when I reinstalled my rim with the new tire I noticed many scratches/gouges where the paint got chipped from removing or installing the new tire on both sides. They never did this before and I know it was not rock chips from regular riding. I will no longer give this shop any business. read more
