** Smooth, efficient, and a total transformation!**…read more I highly recommend **Organizing with Erin**! I hired them to reorganize my kitchen, and the results are an absolute "wow." Erin has put together a fantastic team. Paige, who worked on my kitchen, was incredible--extremely detailed, focused, and a remarkably quick thinker. What I appreciated most was her dedication. Whenever I was ready to compromise and said, "Oh, that's okay," Paige wouldn't settle. She'd immediately say, "No, I'll straighten it out." That level of care and commitment is rare. Thanks to her hard work, all the drawers in my lower cabinets are perfectly organized and functional. The upper cabinets are perfect, too! If you want a seamless, professional experience and a beautifully organized home, I cannot recommend Erin's company enough! 11June-2026-

She set up organizational solutions that I can maintain. I've started cleaning twice a week, making sure clutter is put away before bed. Just too much crap to deal with that I kept putting off. The predatory pricing of my storage company (90% increase in 2 years!) angered me so much I started doing research for getting help with cleaning out my garage so I could move my storage items into it. Looking on the web, Kari Jane's Simply Organized was so highly rated, I felt confident that she could help. By wanting to pay a good service to help me rather than an out of control storage company month after month after month, I figured I had a good budget to work. Kari was very warm and professional and confident she could help me. After describing my situation and sending photos, she scheduled me promptly. She came over with 2 enthusiastic and hard working staffers and they got to work right away. Very diligent and organized and they made enormous progress. By the mid-day, the garage was completely cleared out. I thought it would take 2 or 3 days at least as I had a ton of crap. They diligently removed everything, sorted it out and categorized what could be tossed, or recycled or donated or would stay. And they diligently carried away several cars worth of donations at the end. The items I kept were put in nice transparent cases with clear labels, and there was a lot of room to move my storage in. It is such an enormous relief to be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I highly recommend Kari Jane and her staff and services. Completely worth it! Thank you so much!

Our old laundry was just a cabinet in the kitchen, and it wasn't working for us. While we were at it, I decided to redesign my closet as well. Thankfully, I was introduced to Laura, and she was incredible from start to finish. She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and brought it to life in the design. She was always available to answer questions, texted me throughout the process, and kept me updated every step of the way. Eddie was our installer, and he and Laura made such a great team. He was detail oriented and constantly checked in to make sure everything was being done the way we envisioned it. I really appreciated the entire process and being looped in. I've worked with several closet companies over the years in different homes, and I can honestly say this was by far the best experience I've had. The final result exceeded my expectations, and I'm absolutely blown away by how beautiful everything turned out. I would definitely consider them when remodeling. It's definitely worth the money.

I first contacted inspired closets during the initial design process of my home. Laura coached us on closet size and even gave a ball park estimate of how much $$ to set aside to for 5 closet's after our build. Fast forward, once our home was rough framing Laura came out and met with our designer to discuss possible layout for each room. Laura made suggestions and was so patient. Right before move in I realized we missed a closet (hidden behind the front door when it was wide open) and she made an extra trip out to help make design suggestions for what my family needed. After move in I made two extra requests and she was always very helpful and patient. I had two install guys come and both were awesome! I would do it all over again with this team!

They helped coordinate donations, sell and remove items I wasn't taking, and even packed up my entire apartment with so much care. They personally brought my boxes to the shipper and followed up to make sure everything arrived safely in NYC. Truly above and beyond. Their organization, kindness, and communication made the whole process seamless. I honestly don't know how I would have managed without them.

But if I can stop one person from wasting their time and money the way I did, then it's worth it. If you want to pay a ton of $$ for a team to put generic bins in your drawers, offer zero actual design value, be incredibly dishonest, and gaslight you when you push back--congratulations, you've found your dream company. For everyone else: avoid Composed Living at all costs. Let's start with the basics: I hired them thinking they would help me create a smart, tailored organizational system across several areas of my home. I was told they offered personalized solutions, elevated product selections, and design-level attention to detail. What I got? The exact opposite. Before hiring them, I explicitly told them I'd worked with The Home Edit for our last home and hated the outcome: cheap-looking containers with a cluttered aesthetic. The woman I spoke with swore up and down that Composed Living would never do anything like that. "Oh my god," she said, "I can't believe The Home Edit gave you that--we would never." And then? That's exactly what they did. They gave me the exact same bins I told them I didn't want. Not similar--identical. They told me they'd take measurements and would create customized solutions. What I got was generic containers shoved into drawers, and a high-end Elfa closet system from The Container Store that was so poorly planned I now have to pay someone else to redo it. The closet design didn't account for my items or layout at all. The design was lazy, sloppy, and wildly overpriced. Now, look--if there are container limitations under the sink, fine. Be honest about it. Say that upfront. But instead, they told me on the intake call (before I hired them) that "we always find a way to make it work," "it always looks gorgeous," and "it would never resemble what The Home Edit did for you in your last home." But then the end result was IDENTICAL. And the pricing? I was told there would be no markup if I bought containers through them. When I checked the receipts against Container Store prices, it looked like there was. To give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe The Container Store quietly lowered prices during that time, or maybe I made an error. But to be honest, it felt shady. I strongly recommend you price match every product if you decide to go with this company--don't take their word for it. But regardless, nothing compares to what happened next. When I raised my concerns and asked for a refund, Elsa (the founder) agreed to give me one. She acknowledged that it hadn't met expectations. But shortly after? She flipped. She became defensive, condescending, and implied I was misrepresenting my reaction to the work. Then--and this still blows my mind--she retracted the full refund offer. Let me repeat that: this company offered a full refund, then changed their mind. That is one of the most unprofessional, shady, and unethical things I've ever seen from a business. See the screenshots attached. In the end, they refunded me half. And I was left with: * A generic, one-size-fits-all under-sink setup using the exact containers I said I didn't want from the initial phone call * A poorly executed, high-end closet system I now have to pay someone else to fix * Absolutely no meaningful organizational system, my housekeeper could've done better for a fraction of the cost * And way too many hours wasted going back and forth with a company that does not value honesty, craftsmanship, or basic customer service Composed Living is a textbook example of smoke and mirrors--lots of curated Instagram photos, glowing five-star reviews (none of which reflect the reality I experienced), and the most horrific customer service I've ever seen. If you value your time, your money, and your home, do not hire this company. There are countless organizers who do better work, with more integrity, for less money. This one is all branding and no substance.

We had customized closets in a duplex we owned years ago for two small closets and had a good experience, so we decided to use them again for our home. I also saw that they were having 30% off Elfa for a limited time. I scheduled for a designer to come to our house mainly because of my walk-in closet and the fact that it could be a little more complicated. The designer was on time and very nice. She measured our closets and also took notes of the shelves that were already in place that we wanted removed. I had some back and forth with the designer over about a week, and then it took a few more days to finalize the order. I think it took a little more time because they were checking that they had all the pieces for my closet design. The designer let me know that, unfortunately, some of the pieces I had chosen were being discontinued, so they did not have enough pieces for my order. Because of that, they upgraded my order to Elfa Decor for the same cost that I was originally quoted. I was obviously very excited and really appreciated that they did that rather than having me change my closet design. I was also quoted for the demolition of what was currently in my closet, and I found the quote very fair. I scheduled installation, which was originally planned over two days because of the demolition of what was currently in our closets and because my walk-in closet was a bigger job. The installer arrived on time and, in the afternoon, asked if he could work a little later so he could finish the closets that day. I was very happy to have everything completed in one day. The installer took all the demolished pieces from our closets with him to discard, which I really appreciated. For some reason, I thought I was going to have to be responsible for getting rid of the old closet pieces, so that was a big relief. I ended up changing my configuration a little after seeing how what I chose looked in my closet, and I appreciated that the installer was flexible. There was one item that I received in the wrong color, but luckily it was something I could slide into my closet myself and did not require the installer. I ended up returning the extra pieces from changing my closet configuration a little bit, and the store did not give me any issues. Overall, I had a great experience and would use The Container Store again for other closets in my house.

It is a lean, mean location that only stocks what I assume are their best sellers. So, if there is something specific you are looking for, maybe just check inventory online (or call) beforehand just to be certain. The location is shared with a lot of other businesses so parking could be a bit of a hassle. If you're looking to park close, that just might not happen. Though, if you come in the afternoon on a weekday, there's a good chance that the lot around the store will be quite open. Evenings & weekends not so much. Staff here is very friendly. They seem to know the store really well and can help you find what you are working for quickly. Another perk of a smaller location. So, while the Woodland Hills Container Store might not be the dream land other locations are for organizers, it is still a great destination for your organizational needs. Definitely worth checking out.
