Terrible experience. No a single word could be trusted from them. First, I asked whether they could order the part first. I would drop my car there when the part was there. They said yes. Later, they said no and told me no worries. The part normally comes really fast. I trusted them and left my car there. They kept my car in there for almost three months and kept telling me "not their fault, Lexus not producing the part. They cannot return the vehicle because safety issues. Ask me to contact Lexus." During these three months. I needed to keep contacting them and Lexus. I had to rent a car without my vehicle. Rental costed me thousands dollars, which not covering by insurance company. The manager Mark promised to give $100 credit. By the time I picked up the car, they said that they could not offer the credit. When I inspected the car, I only paid a attention for what they fixed. This location is located right across the street from a dumpster though. I wish I had known that before committing my insurance to pay for my repair to be done here. They do provide quick and fast service for your repair and offer to pay for an Uber for you. I had a loose thing on my car mat before I had it fixed and it disappeared when my car was returned. My co-worker had referred me to this place after getting into a nasty accident. I needed to get my car there and from the very beginning of the process, I had never experienced such customer service to this degree. From setting up the tow to getting my car out on time. I will say this is not their fault, but my insurance just not paying up in a timely manner or submitting the necessary documents either because the whole thing from start to finish was 50 days. (7 weeks + 1 day). This in no way was Fix Auto's fault as they just simply couldn't touch the car until my insurance (Alliance) submitted everything, but once they did they got the job done fairly quickly even though it was pretty banged up. They had called me almost once a week every step of the way from we got all the parts, we're putting on the parts, we're painting, we're washing, waxing, cleaning the car, and finally, it's done. It almost feels like you don't want them to call until it's done, but it honestly is really nice keeping you informed because I rather have where they're at than oh btw your car has been done for a week, you need to pick it up. They don't bs you, they are there to get you back in your car asap. They know how valuable our transportation is and don't want to hinder you from that. So finally I had picked up the car and my God, it's beautiful. I didn't even think it was in an accident! They cleaned the car and it looks amazing. Looks like day 1 from the dealership. Juan helped us through the process and had above and beyond customer service. He knew we wanted our car back before the next weekend (2 weeks overall). He would call me every few days to give me an update on what was happening with my car. Sometimes I would ask him to call my husband and explain the same thing which he did with no questions asked. In December, I had another car fixed at a different auto body repair and had to repeatedly track them down to get answers. It was so refreshing to have a whole other experience from Juan at Fix Auto. I recently got my car repaired by Fix Auto - Irvine, per recommendation from a list for preferred provider by my insurance company. The job was done well and I am satisfied without complains. I have gotten the car back for almost a month now and no issues so far from the job itself. However, I do think the service could be better and I am hoping this review could help to facilitate it. Destinee and Lexi are the front desk service team. They did their jobs but I just don't feel they are 'helpful' enough to assist with my questions about the process, and all inquires during the repair. I feel like I was more on 'need to know basis' from their communications to me. I did not feel I had the similar 'they have always kept me updated' kind of experience like some other customers mentioned in their reviews. I am not exactly sure why. Scott Thompson was great and much more friendly and respectful to me. He answered my questions quite thoroughly and was sincerely put the efforts to show that he wants my business. He was the main reason that I decided to go with them for this almost $4000 repair job. And he also kindly offered a complementary car wash and wax service after a month of time once the paint has 'broken-in'. However, unfortunately I called today in trying to make an appointment for it, the response I got was that I needed to give a 5-star review on Yelp first before I can get the free car wash and wax. I am both surprised and disappointed, even though they did wish me - 'Have a nice day!'. Does it suppose to make me feel better after I got bait-and-switched? Hence this review summary, which is an honest, unbiased review of my experience with them. And I hope it would help for both the company, as well as potential future customers - The job was done without problem. Service could be better in my opinion. I don't think I was a tough customer, but I am curious to know and would like to learn from this car accident experience. But unfortunately I did not feel that part of need was fulfilled by front desk people thus that is 1 star light off. And again, I did not appreciate the quid pro quo request of soliciting a 5-star review to exchange for a free car wash and wax, especially after I just gave them a near $4000 worth of business. They can't even include a simple wash-and-wax without soliciting an inflated review. I know it was good for the business but I just thought that was not going to be fair for future customers, as well as how the business can and should be improved from this feedback. This place is amazing! I was able to work with Jessica & Lexi who kept me up-to-date on everything and manage to fix my car's fender bender in 2 days. Some special call-outs on this shop: Ease: From setting up an appointment to getting my car rental, the staff here will try to accommodate you in anyway. They usually only start their appointments here at 8:30 am, but they let drop off my car here at 8 am. I was able to get in start on my paperwork and didn't have to take too much time out of my day. The shop partners with both car insurance & rental companies so it's almost a 1-stop fix. They called a local Hertz (in Tustin) to pick me up for my rental and I was even able to drop off my rental car in their shop afterwards when I picked up my car. Lexi was even here at 5:45 even though shop closes at 5:30 pm, Lexi was still there at 5:45 for me to pick up after work. Speed & Accuracy: This shop was one of few shops around the area I found through State Farm and I had chosen them through their reviews. By choosing them through my insurance, they were able to estimate and fix the damage (while I only had to pay the deductible). Jessica was able to email me the damage assessment within half a day and walk me through everything on the paperwork. We had discussed different options I had available based on what the insurance was willing to pay. She was able to repair my bumper within 2 days and made it look like new. I was shocked that it was still my same old bumper. Not only that, she even buffed out some scratched on the side that wasn't related to the accident free of charge! Customer Service: Did I already mention how they stay back after close & did additional touch-ups for free? These people are amazing! I got my car washed and vacuumed on top of this! My car was pretty dirty due to the recent rain and road trip I took to Joshua Tree but everything looked so clean after. I can't say enough about Fix. The Irvine staff, in particular, is so understanding and pleasant to deal with. They go above and beyond to work around YOUR schedule and work with you to make sure that you're always comfortable with the process and the up-coming work. I had the pleasure of working with repair planner, Scott Thompson. He walked me through what they were planning to do, how they meticulously evaluate the parts to ensure they're only replacing those that absolutely need it. Because of the impending costs, he took extra steps to source more affordable ways to replace pieces. Even going back to the manufacturer to see if there was ANY way to bring down the price of my replacement light. It was such a nice surprise to pick up my vehicle, and find that my final estimate had been reduced by a sizable chunk! Knowing that I was paying for a rental out-of-pocket, not only did they complete the repair in half the time that had originally been promised, Destiny stayed at the office after hours to ensure that I could pick up my car and return the rental so I wouldn't get charged for an extra rental day. Fix also has a great relationship with Enterprise, so it makes grabbing a rental super easy and painless. Not only is the customer service amazing, the quality of the work is exceptional. It's almost as if the 'incident' never happened. The paint match was such a worry for me because I have one of those newer candy apple red Mazdas with the complex paint job, and had been reading nothing but nightmares when it came to paint jobs. My car was brought to a AAA lot after an accident. My parents called this place to get an estimate on how much it would cost to get it fixed. They picked it up that day and got back to us the next day. The estimate was $9000 and that was just too much money for a car that wasn't worth that much so we told them that we wouldn't be getting it fixed. We were told that we could keep the car there for two days before they'd have to start charging us for storage. My parents called to ask them how much we owed (since they paid to get it out of the AAA lot), and we were told that it would be $540! I called the shop to ask why it was so expensive. $220 was from towing and storage at AAA, but I already knew that. They then told me that another $120 was from when they towed my car from the AAA lot to theirs, which was not even half a mile away! So I asked what the $200 was for and they told me that it was for storage at their place! My parents then called them so that they could speak to the manager and they were told that he went out to lunch. Two hours later, my parents called back and they said that he never came back. Seriously? This lady then talked them saying that she was the one in charge of the transactions and that it was a mistake. It was for another car, which coincidentally was the exact same year, model. color, etc as my car. Sketchy much? read more

The third row of bucket seats were stolen from my Tahoe a few months ago, so I came here to get them replaced (referred by my insurance company). So as far as finding decent used seats and ordering them for me, Fix Auto did the job just fine. So why only 2 stars? Well for one, the staff could have been friendlier. Second, when we went to pick up my new seats they asked if we wanted a complimentary car wash. Free car wash, why not!? The "free" car wash ended up costing me $60! My car ended up looking like someone had used a dirty rag to smear oil all around ... It looked horrible! I had to take my car to a hand car wash to get detailed & waxed... Not cool! Can I give 6 stars?! I was directed here by my USAA insurance when I got into a parking lot fender-bender when a big Lexus RX didn't see me as he backed out of his parking spot into my tiny 2011 Prius as I was waiting to take another parking spot, and I couldn't be happier with the friendliness, dexterity, and speed of service at Fix Auto Irvine. The entire end-to-end process couldn't have been better with the help of Cameryn W and I am so impressed with her outstanding customer service and overall kindness as a person. Additionally, I have Juan to thank for his amazing work and his very special surprise, listed below. Needless to say, I'll be taking all of my future auto-related needs and recommending my friends here for certain. Here's why. #1: Speed - replacing the bumper only took until the following evening for pickup. Booked an appointment, dropped off my car Monday morning, damage diagnosis report/permission to operate by Tuesday morning, and pickup by EOD Tuesday afternoon before close. This was super considerate as I only had a mere two business days paying the rental car. #2: Kindness and commitment to outstanding customer service, and very responsive. I have never experienced this level of personable customer service from any auto business, and I owe it to Cameryn for handling the fix. She is the absolute sweetest rep, and I wouldn't hesitate to come back because of my experience with her. Personable, professional, honest, and extremely knowledgable when I had questions. Her and Karen even stayed past close just so they could wait for me to pick up my car and I truly appreciated that because I was running late. #3: Not only did they replace my bumper in one day, but they went ABOVE and beyond to "facelift" an existing scratch I had near the rear door (32" or more of length). A few weeks ago when I got it, I haphazardly attempted to buff off the paint residue myself with acetone, but I really was not expecting that Juan would even touch things unrelated to the service... I walked away with a washed car and vacuumed interior for my car (got a wash ~3 weeks ago... so it was dirtied a reasonable amount, too) So I got my bumper fixed, car washed, AND my unrelated scratch cared to. The bumper replacement came out to $1,038 but that and my deductible were covered by insurance. However, the scratch was completely separate. The fact that this otherwise additional $2,600 job was addressed as a free 'best-quick-fix' was such an unexpected and generous effort by Juan. I had a wonderful service done today and it's all thanks to Fix Auto Irvine. This is exactly how you build and maintain customer loyalty. This place is amazing! I highly recommend them to anyone! I was involved in a small accident earlier this month. The front of my bumper was damaged, and a bit of the plastic had ripped off. So I filed an insurance claim with AAA and they recommend I take my car to this place. When I first walked in, the girl at the front desk was very friendly and had me fill out all the necessary paper. She then took a look at my car and told me it would take approximately 4 days for all the repairs to be made. She even called Enterprise Rental Cars to make sure they hadn't forgotten to pick me up! Later that day, I got a phone call from Fix Auto, confirming that my car would be ready in 4 days. They even sent me daily emails, updating me on the repair of my car! Excellent! 2 days later, I got another phone call from them, saying my car was ready to be picked up! I thought that was super quick! My car looked perfectly repaired, like it was brand new! Last year Fix Auto's Irvine representative located in 16161 construction dr painted my front bumper. Later in just less than 6 month the paint start to pilling unfortunately, when I get back to check and fix again their expert did not accept that is the painting failure at all?? First time using Fix-It Auto. I would give it 10 stars if I could (but only 5 are permitted). My vehicle was ready earlier than Ben had promised. Ben worked with me to getting the Crash Data Retrieval (not a normal procedure) from my vehicle. Ben and other staff helped make the whole repair process much easier than I thought was possible. Throughout the repairs, they kept me informed, even when I had questions. My hat is off to Ben who was honest and had no problem describing the details of my repairs (during the process and after the vehicle was ready). Every time I needed to visit, the staff was courteous, the reception room was spacious and clean. Even the bathrooms were clean. The attention to cleanliness was found everywhere (there wasn't a spot suggested by this survey to put (except here during COVID). Destiny went above and beyond with customer service, keeping me up to date with my cars service and even getting on her hands and knees to check where my car was damaged. The guy Scott also went above and beyond in making another part of my car, damaged by yours truly not covered by insurance, more beautiful my taking paint thinner and helping remove some of the yellow paint.
