Outstanding service. Went above and beyond to replace a broken doorknob. They removed a door guard that I installed years ago on the door hinge that was causing issues with closing and opening the door. They also tried fixing the old doorknob's latch first, couldn't get the latch to behave despite readjustment and WD50, so they went to Home Depot and bought a new doorknob on my behalf with receipt in hand to prove the price. BEWARE!! The communication is very poor and he will no call, no show and then ghost all together. He will not show up at the time stated and he will leave without telling you he is leaving. He goes back and forth to his truck and at some point he just leaves without telling you he is leaving. He initially told me my tile job will take two days. After two days not much was done. He ghosted for a week and a half. Then he texted out of the blue and said that he would return in four days on Monday and work two more days, but he did not return, he ghosted me. He only needed to tile one wall in my kitchen using herringbone design. Based on the little that he accomplished he did not know what he was doing which is why I believe he ghosted, he made a mess that he could not recover from. He did not use any materials to protect my floor or cabinets. He made huge holes in the drywall and did not repair the drywall in a professional manner, lots of holes, lumps and bumps. HE DID NOT USE ANY SPACERS BETWEEN MY TILES!! Who does that! When he left the material that held the tile in place was caked beyond the tile he put up which meant that you would not be able to add additional tile or lay adjacent tile flat because of the dried caked material that had oozed out around the tile that he put up. Plus the material he was using was very thick like cement rather than thinset mortar. Very sloppy work and I believe that he was not able to recover or fix his mistakes so he ghosted. My new guy spread plastic on the floor from the door to the kitchen and put plastic over the kitchen countertops. They removed his tiles and repaired the holes in the drywall by replacing the drywall in some areas and patching in others. My new workers showed me that Fix N Go was cutting corners by only putting thinset around the edge of some of the tiles rather than the whole back of the tile. My new company finished in two days. They were prompt, professional, and they did an amazing job. Please read other comments, ghosting and poor communication seems to be how he does things and he takes jobs that he can't do and ghost once he realizes he is over his head. read more

Hired Fix N Go to patch up travertine tiles. Like many have said, he is very prompt in responding to job inquiries and a very polite guy. However if you have issues after completion of job, he will not respond or respond and acknowledge that there is issue, then will ignore texts asking when he can come and repair work. He was to patch up some travertine tiles, but failed to come close to matching my tiles. He acknowledge that patch did not match tiles, said it matched during mixing process, but did not match after drying. I have attached photo to review. He did job on Dec 11, I texted him on 12/15 and sent him pic, he acknowledged problem. I then asked when he could come by. He ignored my text. I sent second request on 12/21, he ignored text. Sent 3rd request on 12/28, he replied 12/29, said he wasn't working during holidays, said he could definitely fix problem, said he could come by Jan 2. I replied great, what time? That was last I have heard from him or seen him as he failed to reply or come by on 1/2. I would definitely not hire him for any job. If you do, then you do so at your own risk. I work at a wedding venue and unfortunately to replace some pipes in the ceiling large holes were cut without warning. I called Ivan to fix in a timely manner due to upcoming weddings. He was very responsive and a very nice guy which is why I went with him on his quote. He assured me he has done dry wall before and with quick drying mud it should only take a few hours of the day. I will not write all the details to save time on the review but pictures should tell you enough. This cost $500, no tarp was put down so paint got on the carpet and wood ledge, it was not sanded and the color match he got at Sherman Williams is appalling. He was not asked to paint in the original quote as I can do that myself but he offered so I gave him a sample and on his way he went. I gave him a chance to fix and complete this job and he no showed. I paid the invoice when I shouldn't have so I felt obligated to write this review. It's been a hassle working with this company, wouldn't do it again. I am an interior designer that hired them to work on a project for a client that was in a hurry so I couldn't use my usual guy. They ghosted me for 2 weeks after only finishing half the job, which they took the full payment for. After leaving them a bad review they finally messaged me and came to finish.
