He came the same day and had the range repaired in about 90 minutes - it needed a new igniter which he had in his truck. Turns out the igniter had already been replaced with a very cheap replacement part, even though we bought the appliance new from Best Buy! FIXKOT for the win!!! We were desperate as our 4 yr old heaaavily used Speed Queen dryer went out 3 days before we left for a week long vacation. Called FIXKOT and he had an appointment right away, had to return for some parts which were reasonably priced. He was prompt, friendly, and really thorough in the repair. The dryer needed a replacement of belts and some misc items as it was screeching like a pig when it ran. Tech Eugene responded promptly when I contacted him on a Sunday about my 2017 dryer that suddenly made horrible screeching noises followed by thumping. Eugene ordered the parts he was certain would fix the issue and was out the next day to install. He had a tiny space to work in but the job was complete and the dryer now works like the day I bought it. Eugene is very conscientious and when my dryer was disassembled he showed me the bearing which was toast, the belt which was shredding. He insisted I wet some towels to make a heavy load for testing when he finished. A slight noise turned out to be friction from dryer being in contact with the washer (super tight space) and we fixed it with a thin wooden shim.
