After just returning from Alaska, I was drawn into this store because of the hike adventure/outdoor gear! That, and I've seen their logo (the fox curled up) almost every time I am in an airport or doing anything at a busier National Park or such. I tend to pay attention to travel brands. Looking for items that will last decades, not months. Value of product matters- and their backpacks, day packs and pants all are on my radar! I was also impressed with the staff- namely, Samuel who greeted and chatted with me a bit. No pressure sales here- the associates are there to answer questions and help. The quality of materials make the higher cost more palatable. But- I will be hunting for sales and/or clearance! Happy shopping and an even happier adventuring! Gear that screams EXPLORE! read more

This is the worst store I have ever been into every person that approached me at this store, which was only two all had the attitude that I was below them. Seriously that was the worst shopping experience I've ever had. I would not recommend that store to anyone. read more

I like Fjallraven gear but their stores are designed beautifully enough to warrant a visit. The store employees were very helpful and friendly which made the visit even nicer. I had not seen a Fjällräven store in person in the US before and was pleasantly surprised by both the selection and atmosphere in this store. We visited on Labor Day and the sale was small with a limited selection. However, the same cannot be said for the rest of the store. They have almost every color of backpack you could imagine with an equally great collection of jackets and outerwear. I am not a huge fan of this brand but found it difficult to not buy something in this store. They really make it so appealing and easy to shop. This store is a treat with some great Norwegian flavor. I had been eyeing a few Fjallraven jackets online and decided to hop into the store about forty-five minutes prior to close on a rainy Seattle weekend. Matt H. and Isabel were super friendly and provided awesome customer service. Isabel (seamstress) was a great help with offering her perspective on the fit of a few jackets, and Matt helped me zero in on the type of jacket I was looking for. I tried on a bunch of gear and narrowed my selection down to two jackets but wanted to sleep on it. I had a long day and didn't want to make an impulse purchase because the jackets cost a pretty penny. Matt was happy to set the jackets aside and hold them till the next day. I appreciated his help, returned the following day, and bought a jacket. I'm stoked with my purchase and will definitely return in the near future. read more

Bought a Mini Kanken sling on a whim after walking into the store. I'm a flight attendant and was on a long layover just walking around the area and browsing. I spoke to a Morgan or Meghan? She had pink hair and was super sweet. Very helpful and easy going! I pack my Kanken sling with me on every work trip now. It's the best little bag for travel or everyday. I fit so much in it! Next time I'm back in Seattle I'll probably buy another I love it so much! read more

This Fjällräven store is well-stocked and pretty big! I've only ever been to one other location but this one was bigger and had items I've never seen before, like shoes. They of course have a wall full of backpacks, but they also stock clothing, hats, and lots of accessories. This location also has a tailor counter right in-store, which is really nice if you need some pants hemmed or something. We weren't greeted when we walked in, nor were we asked if we were looking for anything specific, which would have been helpful. I didn't end up buying anything, but I liked checking out this store and would stop in again to see what's new. read more

I honestly find myself at Fjallraven way more than my wallet appreciates, but my partner and I always find really awesome pieces that are practical and stylish. The prices for what's offered is very fair since I find the quality really durable, I've gotten some backpacks, bags, jackets, and pants and have loved all of them. The service in the store is incredible too! All the employees are so friendly, are extremely knowledgable about the products, and they provide free hemming for purchases (not sure about other alterations though!) For example, I just bought warm weather hiking pants, and they offered to ship it for free or pick up in store after it was done being hemmed. Even though they're meant for hiking, I can get away with wearing them around town since they're black and straight cut. Perfect for rainy days! They'll have sales every once in a while too, so pop in when you're close to Pike Place! read more

My fiance and I walked in knowing what we were looking for. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. Both fiance and I walked away with a bag as well as the camera insert for mine as I am a photographer. So far we love them. Now for the reason I specifically came to write this review... we were told that because of my fiances job that he would get a store discount. When we were rung up the discount was not added. Not the staffs fault since a different staff person rung us up. However when we noticed the discount missing we called and inquired and were told to just come back and they'd fix it. Most people wouldn't have bothered and told us it was too late. read more

Came here to look at the wall of super trendy backpacks and some clothes for camping. Store is super clean and I like how specialized all the clothing and equipment are. However, upon walking in, the two associates working looked up at us, did not say a single word, and went back to chatting with each other. 4 minutes or so after perusing, a family came in and the same happened--no greeting or welcome to the store. One associate eventually came up from the other part of the store and saw us and immediately welcomed us, to which I thanked her. This company needs to do a better job of training their employees on how to make sure customers have a good experience, which at a minimum includes being acknowledged. The associate that did welcome us, though nice, was very ill informed about the products and services we asked them about. One example is that they could not answer with any certainty what specific services their store's tailor could perform. All they could say was, "I'm sure they can do whatever." This is important to be able to know because some stores that offer tailoring services can only adjustments to hem length, etc. Hopefully the next time I go will be an improvement. read more

I went to Fjallraven with my visiting son to see if he could get some help with a jacket he had received as a gift. Long story short - Matthew was awesome. Because my son lived in NYC Matthew suggested he simply swap out his (fairly new) jacket for a brand new one, and not wait for the seamstress to repair and mail the jacket to NYC. Matthew then spent about 20 minutes with me answering my questions about their pants, checking stock in back, and working with me to get the right style/fit (I'm 6'8"). I had no intention of buying another pair of hiking pants, but after seeing the quality of the gear and the level of service it was an easy decision. I'm not sure I completely understand the negative reviews because people aren't approached by a salesperson... I personally much prefer to browse 'unassisted' and am happy to reach out to a salesperson if/when I need help, but I understand different strokes for different folks. In my case Matthew's outstanding personalized service earned my business. read more

Came here looking for a laptop sleeve and maybe a leather key chain. Walked in and no one said hello, but they were ringing people up so I understood. After walking around the store pick stuff up no one had come up to me at all. Not a hello or anything. I found a laptop sleeve and opened it up and even took out my laptop to see if it fit. It did and I really liked. I was walking around with my laptop in it just literally waiting to see if anyone would say anything at all to me. I looked up and a woman was staring at me, most likely thinking I was going to steal. Again, not surprised by that but I figured she'd come down and just say "oh how do you like the sleeve". Honestly, if someone had just said "that sleeve is nice" I would've bought it. I didn't buy it cause not 1 of the 4 employees said a single thing to me. Pretty bad.
