    Taco Salad with grilled chicken
    Candice F.

This remains our always go-to-spot for quick, tasty, and value-priced Mexican food! This place never disappoints, and I only regret when I try to go to another local taqueria only to pay much more and not as great tasting food. Service is always quick and friendly, the menu options are vast, and food is delicious! On our most recent visit, we ordered the Super Burrito with carne asada, and two taco salads with one being chicken and the other steak. This was our first time ordering the taco salads as we were specifically wanting tostada salads. I never realized that the two were the same! Lol! Everything was excellent as we expected and this continues to be our favorite local Mexican! Don't be fooled of its quality because it is located adjacent directly next to the gas station. In fact, our family calls this gas station Mexican with adoration!

    Fajita Burrito and Bistek Ranchero

Bistek Ranchero same thing funky taste on the meat not sure if the why or what but just not enjoyable at all and the sauce where all bland and green sauce tasted like bitting into a patch of grass over all 60$ for this definitely not worth it probably what you'd expect getting Mexican food from a place next to a gas station I had hopes for it but left disappointed and hungry . Only left 2 stars because the service was the only good thing

Great value! They have a lot of the standard taqueria items like burritos, tacos, tortas and more. I saw a lot of Spanish speakers there on lunch break so I knew it would be good. They have a salsa bar and casual seating. Nothing fancy just a good place for a quick meal at decent prices. I had the super burrito , very good with salsa. Huge and filling! This place is in an odd location next to a gas station. It's worth a try if you are in the area.

Bad service I buy burrito of fajitas and steak and a found a lot nerve from meat and also they keep the door open and several insects flying around my table and the owner I believe was on tick tock all the time I asked him for glass of water he never gives me the cup of regular water This business has potential but with this I would not coming back sorry

I love this place. This is our go to for Mexican food. It never disappoints and is always so tasty. The people that work there are so friendly and helpful. We love having little chats with them while we're ordering. The bathroom is a little dirty, but it's not as bad as other places . It's a very small restaurant and is located right next to the gas station so it gets pretty busy. The food comes out really quick and most people just eat and go so even though it's a small place there's always seats available. We ordered breakfast burritos and they were delicious. They were big enough to fill us up, but not so big that everything was falling out, which is the perfect way if you ask me. We love being able to choose our own salsa and have as much as we want from the salsa bar, their chips are always super fresh And so crunchy and salty. We love supporting small local Mexican owned businesses and this is the best one by far that we found in Livermore.

I order a super burrito that was 12.99 and extra tripa $1.75 for extra meat and the the lady charged me 4.75 more for steak and I told her that the burrito already comes with a meat choice and she says that no that that was the price

    Super Burrito Carnitas

Man I don't know what happened to this place but after the disgusting food we got today we are never coming back. The carnitas tasted horrible and super old. It was like they took old meat and fried it in a ton of oil to try to hide it was old, so it was super crispy and dry and just tasted like oil. I legit couldn't eat my food, after a few bites all I could taste was weird meat oil and it was absolutely disgusting. On top of that the nachos had this cheese that just clumped together in giant piles and was cold and not melted so if you tried to eat it it was just this giant clump of cold thick cheese. This is the first time I've actually thrown food out before, if you know me you know that I'll power through most of anything just for the principle of having paid for it. Well not this time. Not this time.

    Asada Super Burrito

This place is attached to the gas station so don't miss it! Food wise- I ordered three tacos - shrimp, pastor and asada. I hope that the asada and pastor was more charred because it lacked that extra flavor. I liked that the asada had more spice taste. My bf ordered an asada super burrito and it was nice that the burrito was toasted on the griddle.

Excellent lunch complete with a margarita on a shaded patio. I had a mini salad and my guy had a super burrito.

Place is clean, food is fresh and comes out of the kitchen quickly and hot. I always stop here for a Wet Burrito when I'm in area.

The ambiance is cute with a small closed off glass area of wine and two seater table inside! Our waitress Dominique was amazing. She was able to give great recommendations for wines and food. She also made us feel taken cared of and was friendly/warm. The food is a mix of mexican/euro/american so there were a lot of different options. Here are the things we got: Appetizers - Parm crusted cauliflower: so good, nice and crunchy but not too heavily breaded. The chipotle mayo was delish - Chicharrones: so light and crispy! They were hot out of the fryer. It had a side of a corn cheese dip that was so good and made it more unique of a dish -- must try if you even kind of eat chicharrones. I don't generally like pork skin but I enjoyed it regardless. - Hamachi ceviche: this is a large sharing portion with chunks of hamachi and avocado. Good but not a must have. Entrees - Enchiladas: very cheesy and overall a good dish but I would skip this. - Shrimp tostadas: large size shrimp and it just comes with two tostadas so I don't think it was worth the price - Barramundi fillet: The fish was tender and juicy. I liked the marinades that came with it. I liked this dish with the rice because it made me feel homey. Good portion of fish. - Agua Chile Ribeye: This is a must have! The ribeye is sous vide so it was soo tender and juicy. The broth was really nice to keep everything moist and flavorful. Because we were celebrating a birthday, Dominique made a dessert with a nice special touch. Will definitely be back again!

Unfortunately, the food experience didn't live up to the service. Charging extra for chips and salsa at what is essentially a Mexican restaurant (even if it's branded as "Southwestern") was disappointing, especially when the salsa portion was so small. Chips and salsa are such a staple that it felt out of place to pay extra for them. The biggest issue, though, was the tortillas. They weren't heated, which made them feel dry and mealy and they fell apart while eating the tacos. The steak itself was flavorful, but the tortillas made it difficult to enjoy what could have been a really good dish. I genuinely hope they make a few adjustments because the people there were fantastic, the drinks were excellent, and this place has a lot of potential.

I had the pollo asado, which I thought was quite good. Overall, the food was solid and satisfying, even if it wasn't especially memorable compared to some other Mexican restaurants we've visited. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, creating a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff was friendly and welcoming, which definitely added to the experience. This is certainly not a place to avoid--we had a good meal and a pleasant visit. It just didn't stand out enough to become one of our personal "must-go" spots. It did feel overpriced for what we got.

I'm not sure what is happening with Casa Orozco. First of all, I want to say myself Nd my family…read morehave been fans since the very ORIGINAL Casa Orozco was in Livermore. Many birthdays and family celebrations have taken place here over the years and one of the family favorites has always been their chips and salsa. We love it so much that often when we are making our own Mexican food at home, we will pick it up just as a side for the dinner. However, the last 6 times (not kidding) I have come and asked for the MILD chips and salsa, we get home and it is the super hot version. Now I'm not a complainer as I will eat any type of salsa, but our kids crave the mild because the hot is too much for them. One of the most common complaints among guests with Casa is that their prices don't match the quality or service. This is a perfect example. It costs nearly $20 for a bag of chips and a quart of salsa and to get home and have it been inedible for our family, is ridiculous. This has happened time and time again even after asking the hosting staff to "double check", "please make sure", "are you sure this is mild?" This obviously isn't the only issue. As many others have mentioned, food quality has gone down hill as a whole. Sometimes food seems stale or rushed. If Casa wants to remain a Livermore staple, it really needs to work on making the quality of their service match their pricing expectations. I am to the point where I guess I will have to dip a chip in the parking lot before taking it home.
