We recently had a grad party for my daughter. We did onsite catering of taco bar! The owner, Anthony did an awesome job explaining our options and customize to our needs. They were on time on the day of the event. Went above and beyond and stayed longer than originally agreed upon at no additional cost. The food was super delicious and all the guests really loved the food. Very fresh and refreshing! Thank you Anthony and team! We will definitely reach out again the future.

Simple and delicious place to eat. Service was fast and kind. Normal meat options. I wish they had tripas, cabeza, and lengua options.

This was a cute place we ducked into to grab some tacos. We each got Pollo Asada Tacos that were pretty tasty. The chicken was well seasoned and was not dry. Staff was very nice and let us sit and chat well past their closing time.

Interesting menu items, not quite your usual taqueria. I had a kale salad. With shrimp and a tip, it set me back about $22 which is a little pricey for lunch. The ingredients were fresh and the salad was tasty, although a little on the small side. The pico de gallo could have used more onions, a little heat and salt, maybe some cilantro. Actually I could have skipped it all together and been just as happy. The red (medium) salsa was good, though. The place filled up pretty fast at lunch time. Service was decent.

I've eaten here about 10 times and have always enjoyed their food. It wasn't until today that I realize how solid the food really is. This is one of the rare spots that the whole family agreed on and that's saying a lot considering we have two teenagers. The staff is very accommodating to any questions or specifics needs on your order. I was so excited to see their keto taco plate today as I'm watching my carb intake. I was so surprised when I tasted my steak tacos to find that the tortillas were fresh and actually tasty. I often find that when you try to order the healthier option at fast food places, they aren't always fresh. We've tried their soups, burritos, crunch wrap and it's all tasty. Free chips and salsa are available as well. They have some tables outside so it's a great option if you have a dog. And their prices are good. There isn't many places in downtown Pleasanton that you can feed a family of four for under $100.

Normally I come here for a burrito (which is great), but finally, this time to sit down and have a meal. I ordered my benchmark for all Mexican restaurants, a chile relleno. It was great and a huge amount of food. Chips are self-serve so that you can get more as you're waiting for your food. The salsa selection is well-varied and I found one that was spicy enough for me. My experience was really good so I'll be back again.

    Fish & carnitas tacos

My friends and I go every Tuesday for tacos. The fish taco is the absolute best in the Bay Area. Fresh and tender every time. Carnitas have just enough crunchy bits, yum. Guacamole is perfection.

Love the service, the family who runs the business and I love the food!!!! I think that's enough to get you to come and try at least one time . I think they naturally just WOW people with their human kindness and service standard.

I loved the jerk pork tacos! The pork was juicy, tender, and aromatic, and the mango-papaya salsa added a refreshing sweetness. I also tried the paella Oyo that my sister ordered which was sooo yummy and full of protein. The small size was more than enough! My mom ordered the oxtail stew which wasn't on their brunch/lunch menu (dinner only), but I really appreciate that they were accommodating to make that dish for her. I've never had oxtail and it was delicious--tender, perfectly sweet and savory, and paired well with the plantains. The other dishes that my family ordered were hits too (jerk pork shoulder and seafood paella). We also tried the ripe plantains pancake Oscar for a sweet treat. I love anything marshmallow, so the brûléed marshmallow cream that blanketed the pancakes was heavenly. It also came with a plantain on top and a few other fruits to balance out the sweetness. Overall, we left full and all around very satisfied. The staff showed us such warm hospitality and came around often to check on us, despite being an almost packed house. The decor was beautiful and the atmosphere had a fun lively energy. With indoor and outdoor seating options, anywhere you get seated is a nice spot. Can't wait to visit again to try their dinner menu items and drinks, and hopefully catch some live music!

The ambiance is cute with a small closed off glass area of wine and two seater table inside! Our waitress Dominique was amazing. She was able to give great recommendations for wines and food. She also made us feel taken cared of and was friendly/warm. The food is a mix of mexican/euro/american so there were a lot of different options. Here are the things we got: Appetizers - Parm crusted cauliflower: so good, nice and crunchy but not too heavily breaded. The chipotle mayo was delish - Chicharrones: so light and crispy! They were hot out of the fryer. It had a side of a corn cheese dip that was so good and made it more unique of a dish -- must try if you even kind of eat chicharrones. I don't generally like pork skin but I enjoyed it regardless. - Hamachi ceviche: this is a large sharing portion with chunks of hamachi and avocado. Good but not a must have. Entrees - Enchiladas: very cheesy and overall a good dish but I would skip this. - Shrimp tostadas: large size shrimp and it just comes with two tostadas so I don't think it was worth the price - Barramundi fillet: The fish was tender and juicy. I liked the marinades that came with it. I liked this dish with the rice because it made me feel homey. Good portion of fish. - Agua Chile Ribeye: This is a must have! The ribeye is sous vide so it was soo tender and juicy. The broth was really nice to keep everything moist and flavorful. Because we were celebrating a birthday, Dominique made a dessert with a nice special touch. Will definitely be back again!

The location is small, so I was standing next to people eating, and I saw someone had caldo de camaron, which looked delicious. Due to pricing, I decided to go with the Pozole (small). My kids always want quesadilla with rice and beans (no meat). They had a super quesadilla, just cheese, so we got them that with a side of rice and beans for them to split. The portions were perfect for my big boys. My husband got enchiladas rojas with asada. He loved the taste on all of it, but next time would probably get double rice, no beans. He's not a fan of beans, so it's just a personal preference. I got the STAR of the show, their POZOLE was 10/10. They brought it out before I could even get my drink, they were so fast. They didn't just bring the pozole, they gave me the works: oregano, chili oil, tostadas, radish, and cabbage to put on it. It was so delicious, I'm already planning to go back next sunday! My kids and I loved the food so much my 7yo made sure to leave a tip. Service was quick, friendly, and they kept the location as clean as they could. It was really busy in there.e but they got the food out within minutes. LOVE THIS PLACE. Edit: we loved it so much we went back this past Saturday and got more things to try. I ordered the 2 hard shell taco plate with carne asada and ground beef. Chips and salsa are usually 99 cents per basket but the cashier didn't charge me anything . The so called basket of complimentary chips were stale and had and were being heated under a heat lamp. Unfortunately, they have a fly problem, I had to shew away a couple of flies several times while eating. One thing that causes this that they keep their from dual entrance doors open which is a No No. Of course flies are attracted and come inside. Lastly the churros they almost forgot that I ordered it, I had to remind them. They were unfortunately the worst churros very hard barrel edible. About two 6 inch in size cut .The rice was unflavored and the beans were canned refried with just shredded cheese on top .So with all these issues I described on my first visit led me to rate it a 3/5 for Dos Amigos.
