The Galbi here ruined every other Korean BBQ for me -- in the best way possible…read more I've had Korean BBQ short rib at a lot of places, but GueZip is on another level. Thick-cut slices, perfectly cooked, rich, tender, and caramelized just right - the best. The spot itself is cozy and fits right into downtown Livermore -- a nice little Korean gem tucked into the area. Service was solid. If you're in Livermore and haven't been -- fix that immediately.

We started coming to the restaurant Jean & Jay ran in Dublin five years ago, and followed them to Livermore when they opened in July 2024. When we come we always order the Seafood Pancake. It is like no other. It is crispy & bursting with squid, crab, etc. It can serve four comfortably as a side dish or a main dish. We like to pair it with fried chicken if it's only hubby & me. This is our staple faves but have also enjoyed the Army Stew, Bulgogi, Tonkatsu, Gimbap, BIbimbap, Ttokkboeki, Short Ribs & Tofu soups. We've never been disappointed. We do refrain ordering the Army Stew or Tkbokkboeki if there isn't at least 4 pax in our party. The portions are large. And yes, they serve at least 8 types of banchan with your meal Service is always friendly & when Jean is around, expect that she is circulating & chatting with the patrons. The dining hall is spacious, well lit, comfortable & stylish. We've sat in most of the tables, it is always a great dining experience!

I ordered a 3 meat combo and wasn't completely disappointed but noticed a decline in quality. The burnt ends felt rushed. Had a chewy dry texture. This is frustrating because it used to be the sole reason I'd stop by, rednexican nachos with burnt ends! The jalapeno cheddar sausage was ok but was missing that snap. However, The wings were stellar! Parking in downtown Livermore on a Friday night should be an Olympic sport. I'll be back as it is Still one of the better spots for barbecue out of the slime options in the area.

I want to start off by saying that I have been coming to Sauced for probably a decade now. The…read moreservice has always been great, the wait time and order to table time have never been bad. The ambience always is great, good music, good crowds, always something to watch for those who just want to kick it and have a drink. The reason for the three star review is that I cant help but notice that the quality and portioning of food has diminished from prior experiences i had here in the past years. To make it worse, prices have only gone up due to inflation. We had the rednexican nachos, burnt ends, sliced brisket ends and fried oreos. The nachos and the fried oreos were great as usual, but the entrees, not so much. The temps were off and the taste was not there, it has not been for the past two visits for us. Not sure if it's the product itself or the preparation of it, but it's just not the same quality i was used to. It's still a good spot to visit, but I wouldn't recommend it as a go to BBQ spot in the Livermore area.

Enormous pieces with lots of sauce!…read more Ttobongee is your typical order to-go Korean chicken joint. There isn't much searing and they don't really have table service. My friends and I ended up sitting and eating since we didn't check beforehand. The portions are huge! It was a bit funny because one of the plates had a regular sized chicken drumstick hidden under all of the plumped up ones. While the sauces were great, I personally liked the Yangnyum the best! It had a sweet, tangy flavor to it. It's a small chicken shop great for to-go meals. Despite this, they still kept it clean and bright inside. Recommend for those looking for something to takeout!

They have good ol' school yangnyeum (sweet/spicy) flavor I grew up with in Korea!…read more I ordered online since I saw that it would take 20-25 minutes, according to the online platform. It was perfect timing and they graciously allowed me to switch to dining in. There are 4 tables inside so it is a bit cozy but they have a setup convenient for immersive but messy chicken eating - such as, disposable gloves and a mini-trash can. I would have dined in their shaded patio but it was getting chilly out. When I wrapped the rest of my chicken after my fill, they added an extra radish pack which I appreciated! I did notice another party who mentioned their chicken was too bland. I wasn't sure which flavor(s) they ordered, but after experiencing that their yangnyeum flavor is what I consider "OG" (more subtle, not overly sweet/spicy) I can understand. At the same time, I think this is the charm of this place that I do find most other Korean franchises try to match the current "trendy" palate that is sometimes too much for me. Thanks ttobongee for sticking with the traditional yangnyeum - really hard to come by now, especially here in the States.
