Time to be seated was less than five minutes for a party of four around 2:20 PM on a Sunday; busier times or days enforce their 90 minute time limit policy per table. The food was well seasoned, wish I tasted it a little more on the meat itself, yet all the vegetables tasted crisp and fresh. If you are looking to have intimate conversations be prepared to speak a lot louder, the DJ booth by the front keeps it pretty lively, but difficult to hold conversations across the table. Open authentic Mexican soda is always refreshing, and if you're looking for a place that has soft serve margaritas this is one of them. If you notice and unusual wait time or slow service please make your choice accordingly as I started to notice it was a case by case basis like some of the previous reviews had mentioned.

My experience at Flaco's Tacos was a bit of a rollercoaster. The outdoor seating at Flaco's Tacos is a delightful oasis adorned with beautiful butterfly art and charming lights. While the outdoor seating at Flaco's Tacos is aesthetically pleasing, it's important to note that the restaurant's location directly under the red line track can lead to a significant amount of noise. Although I was disheartened to discover a hair in one of the tacos, I must commend them for their prompt action. When I brought the issue to their attention, they swiftly replaced the order and apologized for the inconvenience. While the incident was unfortunate, their willingness to rectify the situation was commendable. It was an unpleasant surprise that impacted my dining experience. When they first open the food was great. Delicious. But then after a couple of month, it wasn't all that good. Twice the pork tamales where burnt on a side and meat was dry. I called and let them know about it and they were nice to give me a $10 credit. A couple days later I went back and order the chicken enchiladas and again the enchiladas were dry and the rice was crunchy . Undercooked. I just stop going because for the price they charge I expect my food to be right. read more

But it still wasn't ready 15 minutes after we were ready to leave and it was clear that part of the order was never put in until we were done eating. I would say the biggest problem is the service. The (same) server never writes anything down and has gotten it wrong numerous times. It makes absolutely no sense to not write down the order and even less sense not to have the food come out at the same time and be hot. The restaurant wasn't incredibly busy either. I know every restaurant has bad days, and I'm willing to let one bad day slide. Maybe even a couple. But this is now a pattern. I hate doing it but it's probably time to start searching for a new go to spot. I'm not sure the problem can be fixed.
