went to get my cleaned. they dropped a blower fan on hood of my brand new car. they tried to first tell me that the blower didn't hit my vehicle and tried to rush me out. i checked my car and obvious dent and scratches on the hood. they tried not to give me a incident report and when i finally got them to give me one try to falsify the information saying it was loose fan that scratched my bumper instead. they told me i needed to deal with corporate from this pt on but refuses to give me the phone number the phone number they give me is to their membership division. on top of that car wasn't cleaned properly at all. stay away from this company!! read more

I wanted to like them but this location has caused me to remove my entire fleet from their unlimited wash program. The service, value and quality is all poor, it's simply not worth paying for such subpar service. I had been going here for many years. The quality was reasonable for the price (about $20 when one bought a book of four washes). However, last time I went it was $36! And there are no more coupons or discount books. I asked the cashier what happened and she said there are new owners. Now it is way overpriced! In August 2024, I went in to wash my wife's car. I was told that I could buy 1 month's worth of car washes for the price of one. I was asked if I wanted a membership and i said NO. Two months later,I noticed in my credit card statement that I was charged $38 in September and $69.38 in October. I called the Customer Service number to ask them to reverse the charges. The woman i spoke to told me that I had a membership. I told her that I did not want a membership and to reverse the charges. She told me that they have a NO REFUND policy. So the August carwash ended up costing me about $134. I think it was very dishonest to sign me up for a membership that I told them from that I did not want. I have washed my car at Flagship for many years and been satisfied with the service. In the last year the service has declined consistently and substantially. I paid for the Flagship Package for Interior and Exterior, which is the highest level. They did not wipe down the back seats, clean crevices by the windshield wipers which were filled with leaves, wipe down the exterior of all windows so they remained spotted, treat the tires and rims (which is part of the price), clean the trunk (which was completely empty). I noticed that if someone pays for the regular monthly service the cashier calls attendants, so I assume you need to subscribe to get adequate service. I politely asked an attendant to dry the windows and she swiped one window with a towel and walked away. I write positive posts whenever I have good service and usually just ignore poor service and don't return. This is the first negative review I have posted in 10 years because it was so bad. I will not take my car to the Wisconsin Flagship carwash again. read more

I have been going to Flagship Carwash on Connecticut Ave for at least 15 years, and always a buyer of the "Ultimate" package. That included a good scrub of the rims and tire dressing. A few months ago they almost doubled the prices and also bought the car wash on Wisconsin Ave (which essentially corners the market in NW DC). While prices are way up, service has been consistently going down. Now they don't even bother to scrub the rims. For $36, those rims should not only be scrubbed, but spotlessly clean. read more

So following my previous complaint I got fed up with their response, I took my car to the body shop and left it there for four days for repair. When the work was done I took the invoice to the Connecticut Ave location as they requested. At the time , I asked if I can pick up the check next time I come to wash the car. But I was told that they have to mail it to me. That's their policy!! Begrudgingly I agreed to their demand. I had my doubts,however, whether they will process it expeditiously. And I was right. Here I am two weeks later still waiting for the check. THIS IS ABSURD and INFURIATING! I have always been satisfied with the quality of service at this carwash. However, I was surprised yesterday to learn of their new pricing plan which requires purchasing the $36 option in order to include interior vacuum. This means that vacuum costs about $16 based upon the old pricing plans. $16 for 3 minutes?? Ridiculous. Also, they do not honor their coupons anymore. The surly cashier took my coupon but did not mention the fact that they did not honor them. I only discovered this when reading my receipt later. I'll not be back. read more

I had them fix dirt and vaccuum three times and they pointed to their detail list and suggested strongly I pay a lot more if I want it cleaned. I am talking visible dust and dirt spots. They do a fine job but the price increase over the last year is a bit much. The cheapest wash with interior is now $36 which includes a bunch of extras on the exterior wash that I don't care about. I just want a cheap basic wash and vacuum but that doesn't seem to exist anymore. There aren't really any other options so I guess they have a monopoly. I just end up vacuuming more at home and come here less than I used to when I could get a wash and vacuum for $25. read more

I took my car yesterday to get the ultimate wash. In the area where I live, right near Van Ness metro, there are only two chain car washes is that I know of within a 5 minute drive: Flagship and Wash and Shine, off of Connecticut and Wisconsin, respectively. Anyhow, I had originally wanted my car detailed by Ten Bubbles, but I wasn't able to because I live in an apartment (street parking). So here's the thing about this particular flagship, they get tons of business. And their rating at this moment is not that great. To their defense, the clientele here can be a little uppity. But, not everyone. So why do people keep going? Convenience. They were very friendly, and polite, and got the job done. It was average for what I paid. So here are my thoughts. For how many people they have working there, about 10-15 at one time, this was around two in the afternoon, I think they should pay more attention to details. The ultimate car wash is supposed to be the top wash right? There were still dirt marks on the inside of my doors, and my center console still had crumbs in it. I admit that I should keep my car cleaner so that it's easier to clean, ironic. But all it would take was an extra five minutes and some thought for them to not miss these things. They did a great job cleaning the mats, the outside, the tires. Carpets could have had some more love, like in the cracks. Because the only have one car wash drive through, I'd imagine that they have pressure from management to get people in and out. But why not take advantage of the man power to look closer at the details? Some guy through a $20 in the tip jar, I tipped also. So perhaps, the tips are good either way, whether they do a great or fair job? Why? Because people keep going back because it's THERE. I'm sure I'll go again if I'm in a bind. Thanks Flagship crew! The cheapest full service wash which includes cleaning the windows and vaccuming is $36.00 plus tax. Having to baby sit the staff - asking them to clean the inside glass sunroof, clean the door sill, etc., is aggravating. Watching one man "working" while on his cell phone the whole time is annoying. Unfortunately, the more recent reviews are correct. Prices are significantly higher and while it only took five minutes to wash my car, that was because the inside wasn't wiped down at all and it was generally just a shoddy job inside and out, including obvious mud left on the outside. After I pointed out that the inside hadn't been wiped down at all as evidenced by the dirt on the back of my seats, they sent a few guys to do it. I had hoped to get some interior details done here, but the prices on the website were misquoted for this location, apparently, and it was more than double what the site says. Given that the Ultimate Wash without detailing was hardly ultimate, I'll be going elsewhere for that service. read more

I went today after a long time of not getting car washed as I have not been driving much. I was surprised that the price of a car wash where they do both interior and exterior is now 36.00! I used to get the full wash for about half that! I asked the cashier if they had discount coupons for the next wash like they used to - no they do not. I think the workers here are excellent - courteous and very hard-working, although they push everything through so quickly that they can miss spots and have to sometimes be reminded. Despite the relatively good service, that is just too much of an increase. I'll probably buy a car vac for the price of a wash and just do exterior from now on and look for an alternative car wash location that does not have such steep price increases. read more

i recently moved to Dc and decided to try out this location but i regularly would go to the one in Vienna. Vienna location always does a pristine job and this one however was very rushed. The line wrapped around the corner but it moved pretty fast. the employees are friendly and everyone seemed to be practicing social distancing guidelines. The quick service however resulted in a less than average car wash. I purchased the ultimate wash and the outside of my car is clean but the inside could've used a lot more love. there's still water spots and dust in my console and dirt on the floor. read more

Do yourself a favor and save your money. I basically paid 48 dollars for garden hose water and Dawn dish detergent. I ordered the top wash. Upon receiving my wash, I did not enjoy it. I ordered the top service and my "WASH" was not fulfilled. Even though their generic customer service may been well and I was serviced immediately, The quality of their wash is severely poor and horrible! Pushing forward no flagship should ever expect to see this vehicle ever again I even asked the manager to come take a look at my car. My husband took our truck to the Flagship Carwash of North Bethesda. We both work in this area and are regularly at this location. When he return to work and got out of the truck he noticed on the right side front, back and bumper that some paint had peel off and the tire rims on that was damaged. We proceeded back the location and asked what could've happened. Gloria indicated that it might have been the Water Power Pressure, so we was given a "Damaged Claim Form" to fill out (which I did). Gloria called me the next day (Saturday) saying their not responsible for the damaged on the truck and we need to GOOGLE on how to get it fix!!! We tried calling theCorp office number that's on Goggle and talked to Nikia and she said someone will contact us. NO ON HAS OF YET! We been calling around to get Corp Office number, but is appears there's NO CORP OFFICES!!! All the numbers that we contacted....indicate that someone will call us. It's been two (2) weeks and we haven't heard from anyone yet. We are now in contact with the BBB and the news team. I used to be a customer of this carwash, I never took my new car to any other place, they scratched the glossy edge of our windows, but they are affirming they didn't do it. We sent them pictures and they respond back with an image saying the scratches were already there, as you can see in the pictures there was no scratches before and a lightning reflecting on the glossy edge is their excuse to say that our car was scratched before. This is unacceptable I would never use this place again. Be careful! read more
