I kinda just freaked out a bit when I saw this company only has one star. I got a loan thru a Ford dealership with this company last year. I have nothing bad to say about them at all. They have been easy to work with and I have had nothing but a good experience with them. I purchased a car to rebuild my credit and for that reason only I financed it. I needed to show the loan, payments etc on my report to help me raise my score. I understood that my score was not great when I applied for the loan and expected to pay a higher interest rate due to my score being average and not excellent, yet! After a year my score has increased as planned and I have had zero issues with them. It's an insurance company who has ties to one of the federal acronyms, i.e. DEA, DOJ. They use this front to harass and ridicule elderly patients who use opiates for pain relief. My mother has been in the hospital for 60 days fighting for her life after testing postive for Covid-19. They had no problem with me making her car payments over the phone and not being on her account but as soon as I call to see if I can defere some payments because I can't keep up with her bills and mine its a problem. They said that they need to talk to the account holder to do so. She's on a ventilator and can't talk so now what?? After purchasing a car in Dec. 2020, I was landed with Flagship Credit Acceptance to make my car payments. At first, I was happy with my payment amount and their service...UNTIL I called in Jan. 2021 to make my first payment and was told, "Your first payment isn't until February." Well, I made the payment anyway, and the next month I was told the same thing, all the way up until March. Well, I made my March payment and was told, "Since you paid a month in advance, you don't need to make a payment in April." I was EXTREMELY proud of myself, as this was my first proper car from a proper car dealership. Well, April comes and goes and then I continue my payments in May all the way until my latest payment in Feb. 2022. GUESS WHAT?! A lady calls me today, March 2022 and tells me, "Miss you are missing a payment for April 2021 and it's 23 days overdue." WTH?! So, I go into my records that are precise as the sun shines, pulled up April and read the note and situation to the woman on the other line. She digs through the records and couldn't really answer my questions correctly. THEN, she tries to weasel the money out of me and I insist I'll be paying on time as I usually do and will call in to make the payment. I then asked, "If I was truly missing this April 2021 payment, why did the company wait ALMOST ONE YEAR to contact me about the missing payment?" And what a surprise, NO EXPLANATION. I informed her that after I make these two payments, I'll be going with another financing company. She retorts, "At least we didn't put it on your credit." WTH? Now, this entire situation makes me think that I can't trust Flagship Credit Acceptance or their employees to be honest about customer accounts. However, the company i'm using doesn't handle business that way since it's technically not a insurance pay at this point because insurance has already paid out. I did fall behind about 4 months due to getting laid off of work and I was trying to work cash gigs to make up for it. But it was funny that 1 representative will call today and talk to me about my, behind payments and I would tell them that I could make a small payment and schedule the day and the representative will say "okay so I noted it here on your account that you will be making this payment on this day" I will tell them yes and that's it. This is the worse set of remote workers I have ever seen. Language barrels and staff hanging the phone up in your face. I can tell that the remote workers are afraid to transfer calls. I'm attempting to complete a settlement process and the entire remote staff couldn't send an email. I was suppose to complete my payment process on March 3. I called back on March 2, and was told by 3 different people that my account was close. I was on the phone for an hour and cried to pay this bill, fell on deaf ears!!!!!A week later Mr. Charles with his terribly rude self, started calling leave ram don messages. Avoid this company at all cost if you are capable of doing so. I actually refinanced with this company and been a loyal customer for about 2 years prior to COVID-19. I knew what I was signing up for with the refinanced loan, and had no issues making payments on time until I lost my job. They are refusing to give longer than a 1 month "extension" for payments, even though the pandemic has lasted way longer than anyone anticipated (longer than 1 month Flagship, that means a lot of people have been out of jobs and need to pay for life processes like food and shelter before they can focus on bills. You know, basic necessities? Or maybe don't. Probably company full of robotics or aliens that don't require any of that). Even more so if you're in certain areas such as California where citizens are dealing with some of the state's record breaking heat waves and can't even turn on their fan because their earth is on fire (2 of their largest fires in history, yes I actually pay attention the news) happening during the pandemic BLM and recovery. The customer service is rude and condescending while "assisting" you with said extension; for example saying that they don't know if it will even be approved. So now that we don't even have a stimulus package for unemployment, if that is all you have we are all pretty much screwed because they refuse to help. I like the comments "if I can give zero stars I would" but to be quite frank, take away stars already given to them, because they handled this situation similar to how our president has handled the pandemic, without empathy, sympathy or any -pathy's (yes GNs, before you blow your little noggins off your freaking neck, I'm aware that '-pathy' is not necessarily a word; but tidbit from dictionary "a combining form occurring in loanwords from Greek, where it meant "suffering," "feeling). I noticed that my monthly payment had been increased by $40.00 per month without any notice or explanation. On 05/03/2021 I contacted them I spoke with a male by the name of Josh. When I inquired about the extra $40.00 he first tried to act like my payment was the original $399.98. O was not about to let him play head games. It had been removed from my account. He told me I had some extra charges but did not know why, it did not say so. When I told him I have a signed contract with my the amount I am to pay. To charge a customer any different than her contract is not legal. He then got rude and stated why did you pay it then? It had also showed that my Payment for 05/2021 was increased as well for the same amount. I ended the call before I began screaming obscenities. Went back to the site and noticed they had changed it back for 5/2021 Payment. I began asking about my pay off. Because on 03/2021 the clerk that took my account told me My pay off, but then said wait until that payment cleared. But it went up over $1500.00 verses down. I have been blocked from making any.payments on line, Josh told me I can't do auto pay I must call my payments in. I originally purchased a car using this company five years ago when it was then car finance now flagship credit acceptance. I recently paid off my car November 3, 2019 and was informed that I would be sent my lien release as well as my title in 30 days....well that time elapsed so I called December 21 and was informed that the title was sent to the incorrect address but I updated the address it was to be sent to the day the car was paid off. I was then assured that a title would again be sent out in 30 days that takes us to January 21, and I got nothing called the company back and was informed that the tile was sent out but there's no tracking number but they would email me a copy of my lien release and also send it in the mail. Well you guessed it I've received nothing, I called again today and explained this is a pressing matter and was then informed I would have an email by the end of today...and nothing.
