Had a car loan through them for three years. I unfortunately lost my job and made arrangements to make one payment. I did this of $700, was told that I would qualify for Trip to have my payment deffered for 3 months. 3 weeks later, around 6:00 pm repo man showed up and towed my vehicle. I called Flagship right away and they gave me an amount that was 3 times of what was initially agreed upon before the Trip arrangement. Now also two months later, they are expecting me to pay them the entire balance of the loan before I can get my car back. So, if I'm out of work, how am I expected to come up with thousands of dollars in a month? Bad communication, constant calling all times during the day after I repeatingly have told them not to call me during working hours - they show no regard for this at all. At this point, I know I will not be able to get my car back but if there is a class action lawsuit against for the constant calling, I will definitely be a part of it. They show NO regard for this. Terrible finance company I've ever dealt with. Hurts to give my hard money to pay on a loan, only to have to vehicle taken from me 3 weeks later. Terrible! Horrible horrible RUN. Literally the worst loan company I have ever dealt with. Fees that were not logical or correct applied to my account MONTHLY yet when told by customer service they would remove them they never did. Since they never removed said charges my payments (which were all on time) went towards fees showing my loan past due then. Everytime I called nobody could fix this. Found one person who seen the discrepancies and said she would fix it, she did not. Collection calls 3-4 times a day when I had paid my bill. I finally paid all the fees with the promise they would later be reversed after yet another department reviewed them, I paid the fees so it would not go on my credit, and the fees still were never removed. Now I am refinancing the vehicle due to the issues stated above after only 6 months. The process of refinancing has been a nightmare because of flagship dragging their feet. Had to request title 3 times because the fact it where it cannot be read it is so dark, payoff letter had to be requested twice. Was told "we cannot submit requests for 2 separate items on an account at the same time, 1 will cancel the other out" which means I cannot request my payoff letter and copy of title at the same time. Must wait to receive one then request the other.....WHAT!! Once refinance is complete my APR will be 15% lower as well as never having to deal with this company again. if I could give ZERO stars, I would. This is the worst company to do business with. They are rude and unprofessional. I recently purchased a car, have not even had it a month and I'm fed up with this company already. First they called me non stop day and night and never left a message so I didn't know who was calling or why. They always seemed to call while I was sleep or working. I finally caught the phone ringing when I was at work and walked away to answer and see what they wanted. They wanted absolutely nothing. My payment was not due for 45 days, my profile was set up, there was no explanation for why they called causing unnecessary stress for me thinking something was wrong. Fast forward a few weeks, I decided to pay my car note early and went onto the website and saw there was a fee to make my payment ON LINE. I pay all my bills online and never had to pay a fee. I called to get the address no one would give it to me. I called for the ACH to pay through my bank, no one would give it to me. I asked for a supervisor and got hung up on and of course no one called me back even though they called non stop in the beginning. I believe they try to make your car payments late so they can get more money from you. This company has a fee for EVERYTHING. If you pay over the phone there is a fee. There is no APP, the only way you can not have a fee is auto pay which I don't trust them to take correctly. So I check their reviews and you guessed it 1.3 out of 5. FIVE. Reviews are saying they don't report your good payments. They can't find payments sent. And of course they over charge. They are HORRIBLE. The customer service is HORRIBLE. I don't even want this car if I have to deal with them for years. If they don't report your payments you can't refinance and are stuck with them. I hate it and my first car note is not even due yet. If they are your only option the make sure you get everything they say in writing or recorded because they will act like they never said it and if you don't have proof there's nothing you can do. Originally finance my new truck through car finance a year and half ago and was sold to flagship. From the moment flagship took over my account it was a nightmare. Making payments was difficult and now I have vehicle paid off and I requested refund on my gap insurance which they said takes 6-8 weeks I waited the 8 weeks and called them and they now say it's 8-10 weeks for my refund because it was a car finance loan well I contacted car finance and they said no it is all through Flagship credit. I really cannot wait to be done dealing with this company as it's a total run around and they are trying to not give me my money back I overpaid. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR FINANCE ANYWHERE BUT THROUGH FLAGSHIP OR CAR FINANCE UNLESS YOU ENJOY NIGHTMARES THEN ENJOY!!!! I would rate this company 0 stars if I could!!!! Been with this credit company since June. Made all our payments on time. Then all the corona hit and things went to shit. Last week we called and inquired about deferring our car loan for a few months due to my husbands job. My husband is a courier and gets paid per delivery, with everything being closed he's not making any money. Well, we were originally told that there would be no problem deferring our loan for a few months but we would have to call back once the payment date passed. Well we called back today and it was a different story. The customer service rep was very rude and told my husband that he should just get on unemployment so he can pay bills. (He's not unemployed just not working as much as before). We were then informed that if we did a deferred payment we would accrue penalties and extra interest, when asked how much they refused to give an amount. Needless to say we will be refinancing through a different company as soon as possible. This company alleges that they are there for their customer but they really aren't. read more

They flat out said they gave everyone an extension for covid without any issues but for the people who are still unemployed and need assistance they do nothing but harass you daily. I got a brand new car for the first time in like 3 years all was going good as long as my payments were on time about four months after I got the car I had a stroke was in the hospital and rehabilitation for four months after I got out and missing two payments they let me put them on the back end of the loan, but then my job decided that they were going to lay off 1324 workers I was one of them I applied for ssdi because from the stroke I was left with limited use of my right are and legg I applied for ssdi on October 14, 2022 to this day I am still waiting for an answer but I got behind on my payments, I was only getting 198 a week from unemployment, I let them know the I going to waiting for a retro payment check just has to be approved and I would be able to pay everything up I asked them for just 30 more days and was told over and over " we would love to help u BUT u would have to get us a payment in with out that we can't help u" so last week they came in the middle of the night and took the car. Like they had to come in the middle of the night because there scared of a cripple I would not get a car loan through them if they paied me too. read more

Over priced, horrible customer service. They are happy to help take your money. Their fax policy is it takes 24-72 hours to fax something; is this the 90's? One rep told me they can fax that day. Called back the next day since I didn't have the fax number and the rep + her higher up both state it takes 24-72 hours. Reps kept using past tense "I was going to help you" "We were going to help" . So I took it as they already made their minds up and weren't going to help me. Now I can't get tags for my car to drive til next week (when the fax gets done with dial up). Please avoid. read more

This company has a terrible business model in the way it treats it's customers. They treat me like a collection agency if my payment is a couple of days late. They will call my phone literally 5-6 times, and if I do not pick up, because I am busy, they call my work phone. It is obnoxious. I pulled my Score from Experian and Equifax and Both were in the Mid 600's the next day right from Experian.com and Equifax.com not a 3rd party site. Also the same day after dealing with Flagship I was going to purchase from another dealership and the lender they use had my TransUnion score was 667 and was approved but my daughter changed her mind on that vehicle. I have been wanting to review this company for over a year, just wanted to wait until I received my title free and clear. Noticed I said over a year. I financed with them via dealership in early 2018, made my payments and was up to date as of March 2021. Still owed about 16K at that point. I got in a real bad accident, and the car was damaged badly. I was fine, still financially able to make my payments, but I was advised by the adjuster that the vehicles may be totaled especially if there was frame damage. After that news I called them and explain that I was waiting on the adjuster before making my next payment. Not their problem at all, I just thought I would save myself a few bucks by waiting it out. My first day late they called. I explained again and said that I'm not facing any hardship I just want to see it out and I'll pay it once I hear back. These ppl called my phone every day, nonstop and from different numbers. Given the situation, I go to the dealership to try and get a new car because I no longer wanted the one I had, when the dealer called to get my pay off balance, some guy ask to be put on speaker so I could hear, he had the nerve to ask when I will be getting with him to make my payment because I am behind. I thought that was so rude and embarrassing. A few days go by, and I get the news the car won't be totaled. They happen to call me again asking for the payment. I said every time you call I explain, and the person says they will put it in the notes, so no one continues to call me. This guy says he doesn't see anything except missing payments. He was extremely smug, and I explain to him how I feel like they handled the whole process unprofessionally. I know I should have paid anyway but at the time I was looking to pocket the money and let the insurance company pay. This guy says exactly, have a good day and hung up in my face lol. I was so heated, but I just laughed. Logged on and paid my current and past due all in one. Fast forward to July 2021, I am done with them, I get a cashier's check to pay my vehicle off. I was short a day of the payoff by like $17 so after that hassle of going to a money gram to make a $17 payment I sent them the check. A week or two later my account is $0 balance, paid in full. Now I'm just waiting on my title. I was eligible for a discount with my insurance company for owning my vehicle, provided I show proof of the title. 2 months go by and still no title, I call them, and they say they will send it. Ok why didn't you send it immediately? 2 more months go by and still no title. I call back and someone assures me it will be sent now. We are now in October. Still no title. I keep getting notices from my insurance company thinking they are just being impatient. But I finally get a notice that they voided the discount, and my monthly bill went up $50. Now I am upset. I called Flagship and they told me the title was sent last October. So, I'm upset because I'm thinking it got lost in the mail. I explain that to my insurance company and they tell me I need to do a lost title with the DMV. Call DMV and they tell me my title has not even been printed or moved. So, I call Flagship back, they swear to me it was sent to my address last December. Not certified mail. It might be lost. So, I submit a lost title form with the DMV. They send me a later saying to contact flagship and have them send me the title as I cannot get a duplicate title if the former lien holder was still in possession of it. It is not considered a duplicate unless I received it and lost it. At this point I need to talk to someone in person, so I go all the way to the dealership in my hometown where the vehicle is register 6 hrs. away (I'm military) and they say the title was just mailed November 7, 2022. Sure enough I received the title a whole 16 months later. They had been lying to me nonstop. I think the only reason they sent the title is because the DMV got involved and inquired about it. Why would they do that? Because I wouldn't continue to overpay for a vehicle for an extra 3 years. They are rude, grimey and lack professionalism. At least the people I dealt with. I do recall making a payment with one lady who was really nice, funny and professional. That was one time out a few. Oh and don't even bother with the website contact, they will never get back with you, I have too much personal information in my conversations to post screenshots, but they will not respond, and if your account is no longer active, you can't even speak with anyone. I sent them my last and final payment and all of a sudden they tell me they didn't get it. I'm so thankful I used my bank's bill payment system to send it. They cashed the check my bank sent and when I called them 3 days after they received the payment they told me to just wait and see if the payment posts, and this was the last day the payoff quote was good through. Worst company possible. I refinanced my loan to get out of having to deal with flagship and the terrible customer service. They falsely reported my payment to the credit bureaus as being 30 days late when they had received and processed my payoff and it was not 30 days late. It's almost impossible to get ahold of them and when you do all they say is they can't remove anything off the credit report, even though it was falsely reported. Even though i managed to make all my payments they charged me late fees even when i called to let them know aboit it. DO NOT USE THEM!!! They gouge you with their high rates and I understand that you may have to use them because of your credit score. Just know, they gave me bad information, I was running late on my payment, although I was going to pay it by the 29th day, so that it is not a 30 day late that will hit your credit report. I went online, they said they had customer service people available on Saturday and Sunday to call in. I went to pay this on Sunday (29 days late, not 30). I called in during the hours they stated they were open. It said they were closed. I tried to go online to make a payment, but their system was trying to charge me for two months and would not let me charge for only 1 month, I didn't have two payments I could make, so I was left waiting till Monday morning to call in. I did this, they took payment and told me because of the bad information online, that they would not show this as a 30 day late. THEY LIED!!! I have a 30 day late. I have disputed this and they will not work with me. BAD BUSINESS. If you do something wrong, just make it right. It is simple. They are uncooperative and do not care. read more

This is essentially a predatory loan company and while their services can be useful, you should be aware that they will use every excuse they can think of to mess you up. My first payment is due tomorrow; yesterday I set up Automatic payments for every payday and then made a second one time payment to make sure the entire first payment was paid on time. Today I check my account and only the one time payment came out. The website won't allow me to make a payment so I called to make the payment and after being disconnected mid-call by their phone system LITERALLY 10+ times, I was able to get far enough into the automated payment process to find get an automated message stating you can only make one payment in a 5 day period, which they gave no clear notice of when I was trying to set up the second payment. even when I checked after both payments were set up it showed them both for the same day but they didn't process the payment. use these Guys if you must but make sure you pay on time and pay extra so you finish the loan early and save interest bc they will take very chance they can to put more fees on you. I set my auto pay for an extra $50/week, it's saving me $2800 and the loan will be paid off in less than half the time. read more
