If I could give zero stars I would!!! Thieves!!! We ordered food that came up to 19.45 before tax, 21.05 after tax. When we approached the window I asked for extra ranch (.50 a week ago) and he told me our total was 30.00. I said you realize I just want a side of ranch. He said their prices went up and when I asked the manager, she acted like she couldn't understand me. I asked for the receipt and she refused to give it to me. I named each of their items and asked the cost of each individually. I totaled it added tax and said this is what the total should be $21.05.... She told me that taxes increased ( all of a sudden she could understand me) So in essence food tax is now nearly 50%.... Nice try!!! We thought it was strange that the person in front of us left without their food as well. She said she would check the math, came back and the gentleman which looked to be her son came to the window and told us he made a mistake and our $30.00 meal was actually $28.85. (So like 48% tax? Roughly) I told her we weren't interested in the food because 2 hamburgers ( not even cheeseburgers) one side and two cokes went from $21.05 to $30.00 to $28.85, we were not interested. When I told her we were going to Yelp the experience, she said she was going to call the police because we wouldn't buy the food we ordered. I told her we would be happy to wait until the police got there and she looked at the receipt and told us we could leave. Sadly this is my daughter's favorite fast food place but looks like we will be finding another. We've been going here for over 30 years. I think management or ownership changed or possibly the product of Covid, but you can't cheat your customers and feign ignorance.... Maybe the BBB or tax franchise board could investigate. Yah...this place is a haven for high school kids that want crappy food at a decent price. burgers/fries are average (at best). I ordered teriyaki chicken bowl and it was so bad I tossed the plate in the trash! I've been a customer at Flames for years now. Unfortunately after tonight, I won't be returning. Ordered 2 burger combos and drove through to pick them up. While I was paying, the Asian guy that's always at the window had nerve to tell me not to waste his food and let him know if we didn't want our order. This was because of an incident a couple months ago when we waited in the drive thru over 15 minutes because a car stalled out at the window. Rather than wait, we drive to get food somewhere else. We couldn't tell him that we didn't want the food because he was busy outside chatting with the guy who stalled. Also, we have ordered SEVERAL times from Flames since that incident. I'm not mad about not going back; I only go because I live across the street and it's convenient. My order is right only about half of the time, most of the time the burger buns are stale, the orders still take forever when you call ahead, and this evening I guess the guy at the window was really holding a grudge about 2 wasted burgers, because he gave me the all the burnt ass left over fries. I love this place, cute friendly neighborhood place for casual and delicious food. The quesadillas are fantastic, nice char and melty goodness. I get the grilled ham and cheese sandwich but substitute turkey for ham. Add onions, lettuce, tomato and pickle on rye. It is perfection, and the fries and onion rings are good too. Their burgers are always fire, chili cheese fries are bomb and omg the breakfast burritos are on point every time. Their not stingy with ingredients and they season their potatoes unlike so many other places. This place never disappoints. I love this place. The food reminds me of the burger joint in my old neighborhood I grew up at. The burgers are so good, teriyaki bowls are yummy too. Fries are delicious and small size is huge. When into drive thru to order a bacon breakfast burrito. No one ever took my order on speaker do it pull up to window. Saw a cook on there working still no one assisted me. After waiting a while and calling them with no answer is parked and went in. Mind you no customers are inside I ask the guy behind the counter is the drive Thur working he replies theres no cameras to let me know someone is there and I'm by myself. He tells me he's going take your order and another man comes out after he just told me he was busy himself. The guy comes out laughing never takes my order. My family and I love eating at this place...but lately ive been finding alot of wrongs with my experience visiting them and now bringing food home as well...i remember that i went on december 15 2015, we ordered our food and got my 2 year old an orange juice, she took a couple small sips from it,when i noticed it had mold in the inside-top of the bottle...i looked at the expiration date it said december 12 2015...i immediately told the guy working there he just changed it and gave me another one...before i opened the other one i looked at the expiration date then there i noticed it said december 14,2015 he said "Its ok thats the day they made them...i opened it and yet again another one with mold...i gave it back to him... he gave me another one I took it but looked at the expiration date and it said December 26,2015 so my question to him there was wait so they made this one last year cus it says december 26...he must of felt embarrassed... This time July 4th 2016 my daughter was eating her pancakes when she bit into something, she took it out of her mouth and told me "Mommy this was in my pancake", It was a wire looking thing from the wire scrubber that they probably use to clean the grills, stoves...YOU GUYS NEED TO BE MORE CAREFUL WITH YOUR FOODS AND COOKING SUPPLIES... For those that don't know what Flames is, it's a fast food burger restaurant that has been around for a while similar to Duke's. When you first enter the building though, you'll notice that it doesn't look very clean at all. There's trash left on the tables, the furniture is all carved up, etc. At first sight you may want to leave and find somewhere else to eat at, but if you actually try their food you'll notice that it actually very good and filling. They have the traditional flame broiled taste that you can't get from mainstream fast food joints like McDonald's or Burger King and they're huge to top it off. Nothing much to say about the place other than it's a dump that makes a good burger. You can enjoy a nice meal, just don't bring your date here ;) read more

I went there and drove in through the drive-through and there was something wrong with your speaker and I kept yelling and she kept saying huh what I can't hear you finally she said come to the window. So I did she said I couldn't hear you. I said I was yelling I can hear you perfectly there must be something wrong with your speaker she kept shaking her head at me.
