This hotel was a bummer. We stayed here for price and convenience to the Sphere, but it's true when they say you get what you pay for. The check-in line was so long. Thank goodness I was able to use their express check-in line. We stayed in I believe was called the "GO" rooms. It was two queen beds. When they say basic, they truly mean basic. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash was mid. There was no coffee maker or coffee. Surprised that they even had a fridge in the room! The plus side was that the beds were comfy. I wish there were more seats to be able to get ready. As far as downstairs go, everything seemed like it was under construction. If I come to the Flamingo again, I'll probably try to pay to stay in the other side of the resort.

GETTING HERE: It's Vegas baby! Turn on your navigation, follow the signs, and you will land right to it. Just an FYI, the parking can be very convoluted on your first try (at least it was for us.) But once you've parked here, you'll forever get it straight. REVIEW: I thought this was going to be an ^updated review, but I realized I've never reviewed the FLAMINGO. Let's rectify that now. This visit a few months ago hurt. It really hurt. I won't wax poetic about old Vegas and how things have changed in 2026. It just makes me so sad to see the FLAMINGO turning into shambles. The service absolutely sucked. From the front desk staff to the bartenders to the dealers, and more. Everybody hated their job and it was painfully clear that everybody hated their job. The only relative pleasant experience we had was stealing with the housekeeping support staff on our floor. Also, if you are in the rooms above the LINQ promenade, be sure to bring some earplugs. There's a Mexican restaurant that plays techno music until two and 3 o'clock in the morning. Finally, after two nights of this, we advocated for ourselves and move to a different room. Asking for that accommodation was beyond painful in and of itself. But with the amount of money that we paid to stay at the FLAMINGO, we should have been treated to a better experience. At the bare minimum we should've been able to sleep without issue - and not been treated with such disdain and disgust when advocating for ourselves to change rooms. We just needed sleep. As of this Spring 2026 review, I would caution you to stay here at your own risk - risk of no sleep and horribly rude service.

The Flamingo is one of the OG casinos and hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Many other properties have other ways to stand out against the competition. What does Flamingo have? That's right! Actual flamingos!

The Flamingo sits mid-strip and is a longtime favorite. It offers its wildlife habitat, a Cuban coffee bar, and Lisa Vanderpump's adorable Pinky cocktail bar. It also sits near the Linq Promenade which offers shopping and several restaurants. We had a fun time playing cheaper slots and after $3 in a nickel machine, I cashed out $121. Not bad! My experience is from a casino and hotel visit (rather than a person staying overnight).

The flamingoes are fine! I traveled to Vegas just a few days after the Canadian stole a flamingo and brought him up to his room! (No joke, check need outlets.) Some the flamingoes are back to enjoying that Vegas life. But you now cannot get as close and a Falmibgo employee in onneatch at all times for the safety of the flamingos. A crane was trying to fly but he couldn't. And it was sad to watch so we moved along. Great spot for photos. After all these years of traveling to Vegas I never once thought about looking at the flamingoes. Glad I checked in on them.

I went to Flamingo hotel & casino to visit the wildlife sanctuary. The elevators in the parking garage (that cost $25 to park at) weren't working properly. Most people had to take the stairs. For $25 there should be more elevators & all functional, especially going into the summer. The wildlife habitat is amazing.

My absolute favorite Strip hotel! Can't wait to return this summer Out of all the properties in Las Vegas, The Flamingo is hands down my absolute favorite hotel on the Strip, and I have stayed here many times! It just gives you that perfect, unmatched mix of nostalgic old-school Vegas charm, high energy, and central convenience. The rooms are always super clean and cozy, and walking through the Wildlife Habitat to see the actual flamingos is always a good time, especially on my way to the new Pinky's -- a Vanderpump, swanky restaurant with a killer cocktail menu and ambiance. Understandably , the only bummer of our recent December stay was that the pool deck was closed for the winter. We're absolutely dying to check out the newly renovated GO Pool! Because we missed out on seeing the upgrades, we are actually looking to book **two** stays back here this summer just so we can finally get the full pool-party experience. As a regular, I always love my time here. Counting down the days until we are back at our favorite spot for beach club season--see y'all soon!!

Free hair in shower. Ripped up furniture. Shower has no cold water, only hot. Sink faucet loose and entire fixture turn when you turn handle, making a lovely squeaking sound. 3 trips to lobby to get room changed. Toilet in new room runs constantly and doesn't flush. Expensive and mediocre food ($27 to $34+ for a hamburger)... at a low/mid-tier value hotel - more than the hamburgers at The Venetian. People aren't booking Flamingo to eat $30 burgers. Parking deck that hasn't been cleaned in forever. You win Caesars, I give up. Tried my best to tolerate all the constant issues with Caesars hotels here and there, as I've been with the company for more than a decade, but hitting guest with 5-6 issues same trip finally broke me. Are we having fun yet? On a positive note, the Flamingos have their own personal security detail now.

We had 2 separate stays at Flamingo within 1 week: King room with prime strip view (Bellagio fountain, Caesar with Omnia) and double Queens with Sphere view. Both of them are amazing for such prizes with the views. We always stay at Flamingo for all our business and personal trips. The resort and casino are always clean and well decorated. You can walk to many different stores, restaurants and attractions nearby within 5-10 minutes. Book in advance for better deals :)

This review is just based on a visit to the casino and flamingo habitat areas. We found the casino to be huge and full of fun machines. Drink service was good. Parking was easy and close to lots of shops, restaurants and the casino. The outside flamingo habitat was great and had a lot of ducks and a rehab pelican. Fun to explore out there. The location of the Flamingo is great. Easy access to many casinos and the High Roller. So many shops and restaurants around...you could stay in this area all day!

Issues: Shower didn't drain one of my key cards didn't work Sheets felt like sandpaper and the entire room is very underwhelming and needs to be remodeled Mattress is lumpy Very hard to hear people on the phone if you try calling front desk etc. Early check in fee is stupid I had to pay $22 despite my confirmation saying Check in is 3pm. They insisted its 3:30pm. The express checkout wouldn't work so I had to wait in line just to check out. 3/19/26 The habitat is extremely overhyped and very small. I feel very bad for the animals there because they have to just be there in this type of heat and dryness . Wildlife shows were all canceled. In the lobby, Starbucks charges you for water and has extremely crazy prices. Two bottles of water at the little express thing cost me near $16. Pros: Luggage service is cool I can go on and on, but I'm not staying here ever again.

    Let's remember!

The blinking blooming pretty pink lights of the Flamingo Hotel! These extraordinary pink neon "feather plume," is still around today. It was added details to the front of the hotel in 1977. One of the oldest hotels that is still around today after all the renovations to the strip year after year. It's currently part of the Caesars Entertainment complex. Shall we play a while. Perhaps stay too! Being a local, you sometimes forget about the historical significance that each place has. The Flamingo Hotel represents everything "Vegas!" All the pink neon, flamingos, and fun under one roof. Truly what's unique, and why it's still around. The ties that the Flamingo Hotel share in common with Las Vegas go all the way back to its inception. The glory old days with Bugsy Siegel. In fact make sure and have a drink at a bar in his namesake, and toast Mr. Siegel! Maybe Lady Luck will bring you some good fortune. If you're seeking more fun when you come out and visit here's a must see. The "real flamingos," are outside in a special habitat made just for them. Stroll through the habitat and see what they have created . It's fun to see. In the waters around and below the boardwalk, under your feet the koi fish swim around. Many birds gather around this area. Take a picture and remember some fun things that you shared this day at the Flamingo! Now that you can see what's here, stay for a little show. While you wait the Linq boardwalk has all sorts of interesting things to keep you entertained. Come and stand on one leg, and be flamboyant. Get your feathers ruffled. Let's play b

Blood-like stains all over my bedsheets.

I stayed here for the first time over Cinco de Mayo weekend, and unfortunately, it was the worst hotel experience I've ever had in Las Vegas. My 3 day, 2 night stay cost around $700, so I expected a much higher standard of service and cleanliness. After a long day out, my cousin and I returned to the hotel around 5am, ready to get some rest. When we pulled back the sheets, we discovered multiple red, blood-like stains all over one of the bedsheets. We had originally planned to sleep in separate beds, but because of the condition, we were forced to share one bed for the night. The following morning, we waited in the long check-in line to report the issue. When we finally spoke to staff, the only solutions offered were either a food/beverage voucher or having our $20 parking fee comped. Considering we paid approximately $700 for the stay and one of our nights was significantly impacted, we did not feel this was an appropriate resolution. We accepted the parking comp and specifically requested that the stained sheets be replaced before our final night. Staff assured us this would be taken care of. However, when we returned to the room about 12 hours later, around 11:30pm, the bed was exactly as we had left it -- the stained sheets had still not been changed. At that point, I was extremely frustrated. We had already spent over 30 minutes waiting to speak with staff earlier in the day, received only minimal compensation, and the issue remained unresolved. When I called to report the issue again, the staff suggested it may have been because we had the "Do Not Disturb" sign displayed. I had to repeatedly explain that I clearly communicated the situation to staff multiple times and was assured someone would resolve it. Instead, 12 hours later, nothing had been done, and I felt as though I was being blamed for the situation. Later that night, after leaving the room again and returning around 4am, I discovered that although the bed had been remade, the stained sheets had still not been replaced. At that point, I was completely fed up and decided to address the matter again during checkout. Once again, we waited in a long line to speak with staff. Unfortunately, the employee assisting us had a poor attitude throughout the interaction. I expressed my frustration calmly, yet I received no apology, empathy, or clear answers to my concerns. As someone who also works in customer service, I expected far better treatment from an establishment of this level. During the conversation, the employee walked away mid-discussion without explaining that she was getting a manager. When the manager arrived, she was dismissive, unapologetic and seemed uninterested in hearing our concerns. She simply stated that our resort fees would be removed, without clearly explaining that this applied to all three days. Initially, I was confused because I did not understand why they believed approximately $70 off a $700 stay was adequate compensation for the inconvenience and poor service we experienced. Overall, the customer service was extremely disappointing. I have never been treated this way at any establishment before. I am not a confrontational person, so having to repeatedly advocate for myself, only to be met with dismissiveness and a lack of empathy made the experience even more upsetting. The first staff member I spoke to was a trainee, so I was unable to catch her name, either for the manager. However, the second staff member I spoke to was named Kelly. Update: It's been a week since our visit. Now looking back at our statements, we only received one day of the resort fee compensated off our total. $56 off a $700 weekend total. The parking fee wasn't waved either. I would do zero stars if possible. This is actually ridiculous considering I asked for a confirmation email stating we'd have our discount and the manager lied straight to our faces.

We've stayed at the Cosmopolitan several times before, including in Terrace Suites with fountain views, so we were really looking forward to another memorable stay. Knowing it was a busy holiday weekend, I made every effort to request a better view well in advance. I called on June 25 to have a note added to our reservation requesting either a fountain view or, at the very least, a Strip view. After arriving in Las Vegas, I even stopped by the front desk a couple of days before check-in to ask if any upgrades might become available. I was told they couldn't guarantee anything but would note my request and recommended I come back early on check-in day. I followed their advice. I returned again late Thursday night to ask about availability and was told to complete an early pre-check-in because that would give me the best chance if rooms opened up. The next morning, I completed my pre-check-in around 8:30 a.m. The front desk confirmed fountain-view rooms were fully booked, which I completely understood. I then specifically asked for a Strip-view room instead, and they assured me they would note the request. When I finally checked into Room 2189, I was incredibly disappointed. Instead of a Strip view, the balcony overlooks the back of surrounding buildings, employee parking areas, rooftops, and mechanical equipment. You can barely catch a glimpse of the Strip only if you lean far over the balcony. For a room marketed around its terrace and views, this was a huge letdown-especially for a milestone anniversary and the Fourth of July, when we specifically wanted to enjoy the fireworks from our room. I immediately called the front desk and later spoke with the manager, Jonathan. He explained the hotel was fully booked and I even asked if there might be an opportunity to move rooms the following day, but I was told those rooms were already committed to other guests. While I understand a holiday weekend creates limited availability, what was disappointing is that I made multiple requests over several days, both by phone and in person, and still ended up with what felt like one of the least desirable views in the hotel. Jonathan did offer a $150 resort credit, which I ultimately accepted, but it didn't make up for missing the experience we specifically booked this stay to enjoy. The multiple attempts over the phone and in person to get at least a view of the strip not this crappy view!!! The Terrace Suite itself is spacious, clean, and well-designed, and I've had wonderful experiences at the Cosmopolitan in the past. My disappointment isn't with the room itself --it's with the lack of consideration for repeated guest requests and the overall customer service surrounding this stay. I'll be posting photos of the actual view so others can decide whether this particular room is worth booking. Unfortunately, for such an important occasion, this stay fell far short of expectations. I left feeling disappointed, and because of this experience, I'll likely choose another hotel for future trips to Las Vegas.

For the Hotel/Resort: The basic rooms here are better than the majority of other strip hotels. I personally think its top 3, even a small upgrade here gets you a very spacious room. I have stayed in the regular rooms and suites at both The Venetian and The Palazzo. The venetian rooms are more updated, but the Palazzo rooms are good too. The self parking has a lot of spaces but ingress/egress is easier at The Palazzo. However the valet parking here is faster compared to other resorts. The rideshare pickup/dropoff is good too. The casino floor is bright, clean, and good gaming variety. For the slots, I like that they have both old and new machines. I like the older "top dollar" and "run for your money" machines. I also like some of the new machines like KONG . They also have a great variety of video poker, blackjack, roulette, and craps! I have yet to play at the tables here but they have a good variety. The beverage service is good, but coverage/timing could be improved. I feel like some parts of the casino floor do not get as much service. They also have a great variety of food and restaurant options for all budgets. My personal favorite here is Estiatorio Milos. A close second would be SushiSamba. However, I have never had a bad meal here. I also recommend Sugarcane, Chica, Cote, and Smith/Wollensky. I still want to try the other options here! Overall great place to stay or check out. I always leave here feeling great!

First Impressions: The hotel has one of the best scents in Vegas; if you know, you know. Whatever they're using in the vents, paired with their designated smoking areas, really keeps the air noticeably fresher than most other casino hotels. Check-In & Service: Big shoutout to Kim at the front desk for such a warm welcome. She gave us a choice between a room close to the elevator or midway down the hall, and advised going with the latter since the hotel was hosting a cheer convention (i.e., excited kids everywhere!). Her advice was spot on and her customer service was top notch. Truly a fantastic way to start our weekend. Room: Our room was gorgeous: spacious, super clean, and well maintained. We had a great pool view, loved the privacy door for the toilet, and the stone-walled shower with a bench was a nice upgrade. There was also a large soaking tub with a clear view into the bedroom, a desk, and a separate seating area with two ridiculously comfy leather chairs. Pool & Amenities: After unpacking, we went straight to the pool. The main area has two large pools separated by a walkway and cabanas, with two jacuzzis at the end near a huge outdoor screen. There's also a day club if you're looking for a party vibe, complete with its own bar, pool, cabanas, and a live DJ. We enjoyed relaxing in the sun and loved the easy access to drinks from the mid-bar or roaming servers (didn't get a chance to try the food this time, but maybe next visit!). Parking & Fees: There is plenty of parking available in the lots, which makes coming and going a breeze. A $40 or $50 daily resort fee does apply, but that's pretty typical these days and didn't feel out of the ordinary. Final Thoughts: Every detail, from the clean air to the thoughtful service and beautiful property, made this a memorable stay. M Resort is definitely a notch above most Vegas hotels. Highly recommend, and can't wait to come back!

While it's at the far end of the strip just past Resort's World, it's not too far from downtown Vegas so it works out nicely if you plan to spend time in both areas. Although we didn't make use of them, the nearby monorail takes you to the center strip and the Tesla Tunnel can get you over to the Wynn which saves you about 20-25 minutes of walking. Parking is free as long as you sign up for their free rewards program. The resort itself is gorgeous and you could truly just spend your time in Vegas here without going to other resorts. My main requirement when searching for a hotel was a nice pool, as I wanted to lay out and enjoy the Vegas heat. Including the dayclub Liv, there are 7 pools here. 3 massive pools make up the majority of the area, with 2 adults only pools and one smaller pool tucked away. There's a bar in the center and waitresses that come around to take your food and drink orders. The chairs did get packed but we were always able to find 2 seats together. Don't always expect to be able to get an umbrella though. Upon checking in, the front desk staff was so friendly. The woman who checked me in, I believe her name was Gabby, made me feel extra special because I was visiting for my birthday. Everything about the decor of this hotel is high end. They have some amazing restaurants as well as a food court. I wish the food court had a few more casual options, but we opted for a chicken sandwich that was pretty delicious. We stayed in a Noble Suite which was extremely spacious with a full living room, bar area, large restroom, second smaller bathroom, and comfortable bed. We had a stunning view overlooking the strip, Sphere and pool and each element of the room felt luxurious. Keep an eye out for when they offer deals, because you can grab some pretty good rates.

Fontainebleau Las Vegas is technically on the Strip, but it does not feel like it at all, and that is exactly why I would absolutely stay here. It is quieter, cleaner, newer, and far less chaotic than the core Strip hotels. You do not get that constant overload of noise and traffic, and the entire property feels more controlled and elevated. It almost feels like it sits off the Strip even though it does not, which is a major advantage. The high end shops are a nice touch, although realistically most people are not walking in there to spend money, especially at places like Rick Owens. The food options, however, are surprisingly reasonable for a hotel of this level, with plenty of choices, and LIV is a strong draw since it is one of the top clubs in Las Vegas right now. This Fontainebleau does not feel anything like the Miami version, but if you are craving that energy you can always grab a slice at Miami Slice and call it a day. Room pricing is more approachable than expected, with nights ranging roughly from $120 to $300 depending on timing. Just keep in mind the resort fee runs about $62 per night, so a $120 room is really closer to $180 all in, which is still a very solid value for a newer luxury hotel in Las Vegas. My number one is still the Wynn, but this comes in strong at number two without question.

I've also always admired Steve Wynn and his vision for creating world-class resorts with incredible attention to detail. One of the most underrated parts of Wynn is the art collection throughout the property. The artwork, sculptures, floral displays, and overall design make it feel more like a luxury gallery than a typical resort. Everywhere you look, there is something unique to appreciate. Housekeepers were great. *other Wynn workers (e.g., food/booze servers) were usually good and reasonably personable. *Wing Lei (Chinese Michelin-1 joint) had top-tier service and although we could only sample a small number of dishes, they were all copacetic. *due to last-minute vacancies, the Wynn upgraded us from a $400/night room to a suite that ordinarily sets big-spenders back to the tune of $1,150/night. *Great friggin' ice machine - on my floor - never let me down when flask-time came around! CONS: *the Wynn, even at their extant "nosebleed" rack rates, will effin' nickel 'n dime ya' (*coins on steroids) every gol-durn chance they get: -NO refrigerator in the room unless you want to rent one for $25 a night. (Yep- let's make it hard for guests to bring their own, reasonably-priced booze. And leftovers from "market price" (i.e., "mark-it-up") menu pickin's at various and sundry Vegas kitchens? Paid $15 or so for a "pour" of ordinary Tito's vodka. Needed an ELECTRON MICROSCOPE to see the likker! (But I only did it once, as my flasks of Toki and Pikesville and a Hamm's 12'er...took care of me.) *The bellhops move at a comatose pace, and when we arrived, we were informed that there'd be a "slight delay" of 45 minutes in bringing up our bags. After an HOUR had passed, we just took the G-D things ourselves. Yeah - now ain't THAT first-class service! *The concierge on duty was a dullard and a do-nothing doofus who couldn't do "jack" for us. Needs a job at the 'Boreyard by Mary Ott.' *NO smoking allowed at the OTB (Sportsbook area) Huh??? Effin' VEGAS and I can't even smoke a good cigar (or even a bad one) while play the races? S-H-I-I-T-E!!! **GOONS everywhere -had to use my key just to take the elevator to my floor, and had to withstand the glaring imprimatur of "security" people every time. (My favorite guy, who appears to have been either a "Blood" or a "Crip,"...received the moniker...'SMILEY!' -Although I wouldn't consider buying the wildly marked-up "luxury" goods peddled in the Wynn shops, I couldn't help but notice the scowling dorks in dark suits who stand outside the portals, arms folded. (No buddy - I ain't buyin' yer' lousy $50K watch; so shove it OK?) __________ Now, neighbor - are ya' ready for the veritable TOP-TWO reasons NOT to wander into the Wynn? 1) NONSTOP high-volume pop-schlock aural excrement THUMPING throughout the place. EVERYWHERE. Pay exorbitant room rates and then be subjected to lowest-common-denominator NOISE? WHO likes that garbage? ("effluencers?") -How about QUIET? -If that's not possible - how about actual MUSIC played at moderate levels? WHY must we endure moron-music and WHY were we not warned that it would be infesting the air? 2) EURO/MIDEAST TRASH guests swarming like maggots, pushing in front of you and invading your space without so much as an "EXCUSE ME!"... ...Mega-wealthy SCUM that shouldn't even be allowed in America - much less catered to by an ostensible "top class" hotel! The lobby where we checked in was super dark and moody. There was a lot of seating and nice decor. It was chilly in there which felt like a nice escape from the Vegas heat. It was relatively quick for us to get checked in and receive our keys. This dark and dramatic theme is carried throughout the hotel and to the guest room areas too. We were put in Rm 30-24, which we converted into an adjoining room with Suite 30-22. Our room felt small to me. The bed takes up the majority of the room with little walking space. There is a desk, flat screen TV, sofa, and small wardrobe. The closet is pretty spacious and has some robes, slippers, and a steamer. The sofa was very stiff and honestly looked a bit dingy. There were crumbs on the seat and the pillows were incredibly old and limp. I was hesitant to sit on it! The closet felt disproportionately large for the room. I would have preferred a smaller closet to have more space in the room itself. The rooms and hallways are all so dark. There is no overhead lighting, only tiny lamps throughout the room. I am personally not a fan of this as it made the room feel even smaller and claustrophobic. I understand they are trying to make it feel ambient and moody, but the way it was presented felt more like sleeping in a cave. Inside the closet was the brightest area of the hotel! If you choose to have a conjoined room, it is impractical to keep the doors open. When the adjoining doors are open, it is impossible to use the doors facing the hallway. Everything was cramped and the doors were constantly banging against each other. The bathroom was nice with a spacious shower. The water pressure was slightly better than average, but not super strong. They provided the usual amenities: shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, shower gel, cotton swabs + cotton pads, makeup remover wipes, and a shower cap. I must say, the shampoo and conditioner were spectacular. My hair felt super soft and had no frizz when it dried. It smelled very nice too. The rest of the hotel was just okay. There is not much to do besides lay at the pool and gamble. It is pretty quiet and laid-back. That being said, the casino was pretty small. I did like that it was non-smoking though so it was not suffocating to walk through it. I enjoyed the pool area. Despite it being a hot summer day, there was plenty of seating and lounge chairs available. The music the DJ was playing was really good and the pool was super chilly. This is definitely not my first choice for a Vegas hotel but I could stay here again.

However, for those of us who come to Vegas often, staying at those hotels often means higher prices and headaches with navigating around the busy traffic. Having stayed at most of the larger hotels (The Luxor, The Bellagio, Encore at Wynn, Park MGM etc) I've had my fill of the dazzling lights and boisterous crowds. I do recommend you try these hotels at least a few times to truly soak in the bustle of Las Vegas night life. For me, I prefer to stay adjacent to, but not within, The Strip. This way, I can have some comfort in a quieter setting and can call an uber at any moment to meet friends along The Strip. This was the reason I chose Nirvana Hotel. Situated right next to The Luxor and The Mandalay Bay, it is both affordable and close to the attractions I come to Vegas for. The exterior is a bit off-putting at first. You aren't greeted with the pristine fountained welcome that you expect from Vegas--the wonderful precession of marble floors, the lush green plants, the ornate chandeliers. The main check-in station is inside the souvenir shop which resembles that of a run down gas station. Service is quick and the check-in process is painless. Their doors all use numbers so you don't have to worry about misplacing your card. Just don't get so drunk you forget! The room itself is very humble: queen bed, LG tv, two night stands, a small fridge, and a walk-in shower. Clean, organized, and arranged professionally. I will definitely stay here again.
