Shark Attack Cheeze Fries with beach sauce
    Shannon M.

Everything about the appearance of this place, from the menu font to the neon sign, was a '90s nostalgia trip in the best way possible. We had lunch here and chose a few items from their huge menu. I got the "tiki torches" (coconut chicken fingers that came with "lizard sauce" [a bbq sauce?] and tangerine honey); neither of the sauces really did it for me (maybe a honey mustard would have been better than just straight honey), but the chicken was good. I also got a side of their pasta salad since I love Hawaiian Mac salad and this was a tasty version. My husband ordered the Shark Attack Cheeze Fries, covered with molten cheese and bacon and served with "beach sauce" (the sauces could use better descriptors, honestly). A full order was HUGE so he had leftovers. The setting was very fun with a beachy vibe (obviously!) and we had a friendly, efficient server. For a bite of the beach in Paducah, check out Flamingo Row!

We waited an hour to be seated while we watched nearly everyone else be seated and were the only ones left waiting. After being extremely patient, we finally asked the hosts when we would get our table. We were told, "we texted you 30 minutes ago." I showed them my phone, no text. What's worse is they made no effort to see if we were still waiting. Which left us wondering if they'd even notice us if we were still waiting by closing time. This was irresponsible by a host staff that either didn't care or was oblivious to their customers' needs.

Stopped by for lunch with work friends. Not what I expected - fun island vibe. Ordered the Riki Tiki tacos - crunchy chicken, salsa and dip was fun to eat. Service was friendly. Will definitely come back.

Love this place so much. Great variety on the menu and a pretty good value. Cute inside and I dream about the fries. Can't go wrong with a visit to Flamingo Row

I really loved the fries! Not sure what exactly they were seasoned with (maybe garlic and Parmesan?) but they were sooooo addicting I couldn't stop eating them. I also got the coconut chicken which I wasn't a huge fan of. The coconut batter just didn't go too great on the chicken tenders and they were a little rubbery. I tried the key lime pound cake which was face puckering-ly sweet. I would not get that again. The service was okay but it was within an hour of closing so I know they were busy cleaning up. Not going to lie though, I'd come back for those fries!

Monte Cristo was so good with the stuffed soft baked bread.

Highly recommend this place the first time but wont be the last!! Waitress was very efficient and service was great.

Tasty food. Yummy grilled tuna salad. Kind of loud, but good food and service. Fantastic paint colors in the bars and bathroom.

We had been here over the summer, and stopped by with our daughter to share the experience. Service is always good, and some of the food is great. It seemed like the 1 inch porkchop was not as good as the gigantic one I had last time, but I coykd be crazy. My husband woukd say I was crazy, so there is that. My daughter loved her fish. The mashed potatoes with white gravy were so good, I ate those first. Hubby asked for a garden salad with salmon. He got a spinach salad with salmon. Our server brought it out and offered to have it remade, but the salad looked wonderful and he really enjoyed it. Kudos to the chef for standing his ground haha. We were too full for dessert. Highly recommend, for the experience and the cute period clothing. Get reservations though! We have to wait over an hour on our first visit. We made reservations the 2nd time and we're seated within 10 minutes.

I ordered the Chicken Parmesan sandwich with fries same hubby ordered fish and chips. The waitress brought out a basket of rolls with whipped butter. Those were excellent rolls. Yeasty and soft. The butter was perfect too. Loved the rolls. Our meal came and immediately I was impressed with their fish and chips. The menu says hand breaded. The fish looked amazing. Hubby said it very good, great breading, nice and crispy. Great tartar sauce too. I wish I had tried it. My fries were not crispy (no double fry) not crispy at all. They were hot and cooked though. My sandwich was pretty good, not excellent. It had a bit too much sauce in it for me. It had a good flavor and the toasted garlic roll was good. I will be back, but I think I will try something else next time.

To be fair, the servers were very kind and doing their absolute best, but the restaurant was clearly understaffed. Everyone looked frantic, which set the tone right away. The dining room was also freezing, with cold air constantly sweeping in from outside -- not exactly the cozy lunch my mom and I were hoping for. My mom ordered her favorite, the shrimp and grits, and she loved it. Clean plate, no complaints from her. I wish I could say the same for my meal. I ordered the prime rib after asking the server about it. She assured me it was juicy and looked great today. I asked for medium rare. What arrived was a dry, gray slab of meat that was nowhere near medium rare. I cut into it to show her how overdone and dry it was, and she took it back. Eight minutes later, a second prime rib arrived. This one had a tiny bit of pink, but still mostly gray, still dry, and still absolutely not fresh. It tasted like leftover prime rib from the day before that had been microwaved -- that unmistakable reheated texture and flavor. It was honestly disgusting. I choked down less than half before giving up. The baked potato was the only thing I could actually enjoy. The broccoli had a strange, unpleasant taste and went untouched. My mom would genuinely recommend O'Charley's for the shrimp and grits. But for anything else -- especially the prime rib -- I'd suggest steering clear. Or if you do go, just play it safe and get a baked potato. Very disappointing experience, especially for a $32 prime rib in a small Kentucky town.
