Fun restaurant with great food. My husband had Jamaican Jam, a Jamaican jambalaya. It was crazy good. I had the Sebastian Sea salad, which was everything I love on a salad. I came for quilt week, after driving all day I was told this is the best place for casual dining. I sat in the bar ordered a drink and the posiden adventure, after about 20 minutes I asked the bartender how my sandwich was coming along. He went back to check, then tells me he forgot to order it. The person sitting next to me got her meal about ten minutes inyo my arrival. It looked pretty good so I told him I'll have one of those. Ended up it was called "The Wave "it was pretty good, just not what I really wanted. Being so tired and hungry I didn't feel like pressing the issue. I really felt the bartender should have comped my drink at the very least. Food was good, service not so much. read more

Best restaurant in town. Great food, great service, fun atmosphere. Feels like your on vacation with all the bright decorations.

When roadtripping we like to use Yelp to find something fun near the interstate. In this case, Flamingo Row. I stepped inside and felt like I was in Destin, not Paducah. It was a fun, clean atmosphere with a tropical menu. We ordered fish tacos, the pimento cheese sandwich, and soup. Everything was good, not great, but good. The pimento cheese sandwich was too much and not tasty. The soup was awesome and the tacos were not the best I've ever had but they weren't bad. All-in-all we enjoyed the total experience and would go back to try different dishes next time we are driving through Kentucky. It beats all the chains for sure and it's more convenient from the interstate than downtown Paducah. read more

Tasty meal the night before Thanksgiving! My friend had the coconut shrimp. She loved it. I had the amazon loaf. Holy, moly! That is a meal for three. Thr mashed potatoes were tasty and the loaf taste was great. It's a different flavor combination and delicious. Service was fine. I will definitely return! read more

Since moving to Chicago 14 years ago, I've been spoiled with some of the best culinary cuisine in the world. So when I visit my parents and we go out to eat, I sometimes am let down by the food I get...Flamingo Row wasn't any different. I had the cuban sandwich - a cuban sandwich has pork, swiss cheese, and pickles. This had ham, turkey and mayo. The potato salad had so much mayo in it that I could feel my arteries swelling. Husband got the seafood pasta - It was very bland. My parents loved everything they got and they love this place. That's why I'm giving it 3 stars. Decent atmosphere..thats where it stops. I'm pretty sure I can make better caribbean food at home. This spot was overhyped and very bland to my dismay & I should mention slightly expensive. Would not try this location again, its definetely not an authentic caribbean restaurant but if you like 'americanized' type food that is so far from what it is meant to be you might enjoy this...I would not waste my $ here. Usually a 3-star gets my attention only because it was the only decent place to eat. Yet, in this case, it's a little bit different. Yes, they are next door to the VA in Paducs. The food was ok. The first lunch I ordered a chicken sandwich with potato chips. It had a good taste to it, and I did finish the whole thing. It wasn't that much, but it was good. I don't know if there's a particular theme to the restaurant (duh!), but we ate here anyway. The second lunch I ordered a simple caesar salad with chicken. It was a huge portion for a good price. The food was so so. I was dining alone and as often happens, the hostess gave me a seat in an isolated section of the restaurant here, apparently no server was assigned. So after waiting and waiting, I got up and found my own server. She was kind,attentive,and pleasant. But my first impression soured me and it was to enjoy after that. As for the food. I ordered shrimp and it came with cheese grits and green beans. There was a pool of something on the bottom of he plate. Looked like grease/ butter. Not sure what it was. The shrimp were good. Yh cheese grits were OK, but they looked like they had been sitting under a warming light for a while. The bread was stale or maybe it was supposed to be cold and hard, not sure. read more

It's unique food and it was pretty good. They do have some traditional items like burgers but it's mostly seafood with a cajun twist. There's lots of greens on the menu if you're looking for something healthful or lighter. read more

We've enjoyed Flamingo Row ever since we discovered it after moving to Paducah. I have to say we enjoyed going, and went much more often before they moved from Broadway to Perkins Creek...they lost a lot of the ambiance appeal in the relocation. The old place was quirky and colorful. It was cozy and intimate and you could sit outside. The new location had plenty of seating, but was so open and full of hard surfaces it sounded like a bid, noisy cafeteria. We didn't go for several years it was so uncomfortable. They've added some sound absorbing elements that have made it tolerable, but it still feels cold and harsher, not fun and cozy, so we don't go often. The food is still great. Somewhere along the line they lost the Bleu Lagoon Salad, but it's back on the menu...my favorite! They have awesome sandwiches (I like the Caribbean Dip or Cuban Mojo), and definitely try their signature Fillymingo stuffed bread (my favorite is the Monte Cristo). Other favorites: Feeding Frenzy Cheese Dip, Lizard Sauce, Rasta Pasta, and the Big Fat Chocolate Cake. Was frustrating that they seem to have no plain butter or margarine available (for the bread). We still go for the food sometimes, but find the atmosphere off-putting. Service is generally good, and we have never had terribly long waits. read more

Will have to say we havent been here in awhile. Had some family in town and wanted to take them to a local place . I had a grilled chicken over rice . Man was it good. Had a touch of lime flavoring in the rice mixed in veggies . Wife had a salad was not the average run of mill salad , mango vinaigrette. She loved it . One son had a burger and fries it was HUGe! Server was good . They were fairly busy but food came out timely and was very good . Will be back to try more items and Recommend! read more

We had mixed drinks, the Tahitian Tattoo and Volcanic Explosion LIT. Both were great. Service was friendly. Had the Wave as a Teazor. I had the coconut shrimp, wife had the jerk burger. Didn't taste jerk seasoning on burger. Shrimp was good. Lizard sauce is interesting. We will return. read more

I was kind of hesitant about going to a carribean style restaurant in Paducah, but ended being very glad I came. I would rank Flamingo Row as one of the better carribean restaurant that I've experienced. The spices on the chicken had a little kick to it which typical of Jamaican food but was very tasty. been here i dunno, i dozen times... the food, always good... always on. All their burgers are fan-damn-tastic. the quality of the beef is great, they have good toppings (avacado on a burger, right? good !). their mac n cheese (they call it carumba roni) LOVE it.... tuna steak, on point... ok, so you get the point, their food is always on. but the service can be inconsistant. Ive been here and thought "Dang, that was good service' and ive also been here and said "huh, wheres our dang waiter?????". in all fairness, every restaurant has good wait-staff and waitstaff they havent figured out needs a career change yet... if your in paducah on business, eat here... if you live in paducah and havent tried this place, what the heck ?! get eat there ! if you eat there all the time, you know what im saying then... good food, inconsistant service. read more

This is a very noisy place bit it is also busy. I got the Voodoo Moo sandwich which was a ribeye with strawberry sauce. It sounded like a strange combination but it worked. read more

Good service, poor quality food. Bland tasting and cheap ingredients. Half the citrus dishes used canned mandarin oranges. Mixed drinks made with pre-made commercial mixes. Burgers were not spiced and dry. Fries were overly greasy and soggy. Service was very good. Restaurant does not have booster chairs, making it difficult for toddlers to sit at the table. I have never had anything bad here. There stuffed breads are divine, The Monte Cristo is my favorite favorite. I also enjoy the mermaid salad. A very unique selection of food and every item I have eaten off this menu has been delicious. read more

The En Fuego burger had a smoky flavor which made it even more scrumptious. The Neptune Shrimp was very good, but pricey for no more than what you get. The service was speedy and friendly. Definitely worth trying if you're in the area. read more

Thought we'd check out some local places while in Paducah, so so glad we came here! Our waitress was wonderful and very helpful. The food was fantastic! I had the Big Kahuna burger and fries, it was Amazing!! My son had the kids chicken dinner and it was excellent as well. 10/10 would visit again. read more

Last time I went to Flamingo road they were so under staffed and busy we never some of the food we ordered. I had to stand in line at the bar for 15 min. to get our ticket for the drinks and appetizers. read more

Flamingo Row has been a long term answer to where do you want to eat in Paducah, going back to their original out of the way location. We go elsewhere but if we can't decide it is likely where we go. The food is a mix of Cuban, Jamaican, and other Caribbean styles. Tonight, as usual the food was great, but our server was not the best. From forgetting to bring bread out to not keeping drinks refilled early on her service was not up to the usual standards. To be honest she did rectify this later on in the meal. Less than the usual superb service aside, I recommend Flamingo Row. It is like nothing else in the area. read more

Our server was very sweet and did an excellent job. It was however so loud in the restaurant (music) that she had trouble hearing our requests. The cuban mojo sandwich was so delicious. I replaced the potato salad with the santa fe potatoes and enjoyed the leftovers the next day. I am excited to go back for more of the same especially since my meal was under $10. Hurrah!! read more

Three of us went to lunch upon friend's recommendation when we went to Paducah on a day trip. Got there before lunch hour rush @11:30am. Service was very slow. Menu looked great and had trouble deciding. I had shrimp tacos and fries. Fries were cold. Tacos were not in tortilla but small pita-type bread. Terrible service!!! We had 6 adults and one kid that needed a high chair. We were told it would be a 30 min wait but after waiting for over a hour and asking multiple times why would could not sit at the two 6 chair tables available we finally left. Would give this place another star except I only ordered something to go and didn't dine in so I can't speak to the table service. That being said I was well pleased with the service I did get. Tasty food. Yummy grilled tuna salad. Kind of loud, but good food and service. Fantastic paint colors in the bars and bathroom.

My wife and I were thoroughly disappointed. She had the coconut shrimp which arrived with fries that were too cold to eat. The quality of the shrimp was good, but the coconut batter was mediocre. I had the "jam," which slightly resembled jambalaya except for the single Tobasco flavor note. The waitress was attentive and the iguana was fun to see. read more

The coconut fried chicken tenders were great!!!! I had the spinach wrap which was pretty good as well. My boyfriend had the jerk chicken- it was a little overcooked but the flavor was good he said. I had the sunset margarita for my drink.. This wasn't much of a margarita if you ask me. Way to sweet and was mostly orange juice. I didn't end up finishing it. Good atmosphere over all though. This is our 5th year living in west KY and our 2nd time dining at Flamingo Row. Our first experience (3 years ago) here was NOT good. HOWEVER, today, we decided to give it another shot due to reviews and the fact that the parking lot is always packed. Our first visit gave us badly cooked (frozen) chicken fingers and bad pasta. We are foodies. We can tell when food is fresh and we love nicely seasoned food (not salty).....seasoned. Today, we had the cheesy dip (good, but came out a little less than warm). My husband ordered the Jamaican Jam and it was awesome. He loves Cajun dishes, so this was on point. I ordered the Admiral steak. I wanted it less than medium and heavy seasoning. The steak came out little more than medium and the seasoning could have used some salt in it. Overall, Flamingo Row was redeemed today. The food was good and we will be returning. Prior to leaving we had already decided on what we would try next time we return! Thanks! read more
