My takeout order was made incorrectly. I called to advise it was incorrect and was offered a refund or remake. After spending 5-7 minutes explaining what was wrong and how the order should've been, the person I spoke with advised the remake would be ready soon and the kitchen was set to close in 40 minutes. Upon arrival, no one was aware of the mess up and needed to wait for the remake. I was not happy to have to wait longer after it took me 20+ minutes to get back to the restaurant for the remade food. The person I spoke with eventually came out of the back, but did not acknowledge me or the mess up. They should better communication with each other, and check the orders. I read a review from a fellow yelp about flame burger she made it sound so good we had to try it. When we walked in to the restaurant the wood fired grill smelled so good couldn't wait. We were seated in Carson's section. Order our drinks and food. I got the Bourbon burger it had mushroom and onions sautéed in a bourbon sauce with jalapeño jack cheese. It came out perfect no pink just the way I like it. Still Juicy and a lot of flavor. Also Truffle Parmesan fries they were good but I think they could have been cooked a little longer they were a bet limp. They have a full bar and TVs for all those sport fans. Finally tried Flamme but...I didn't get a burger. Chicken just sounded better! Went at around 6:00 on a week day and the place was mostly empty. Ordered the California Chicken sandwich and the fries. Food was great, as was my server, Crystal. Very reasonable price point. A coke, sandwich, fries, and 3 dipping sauces was only $15. I was definitely uncomfortable with their COVID precautions though. A majority of servers wore their face masks around their necks...not even covering their faces at all (which...what is the point?). I could see the kitchen from my seat (it's an open kitchen/grill) and neither of the cooks/chefs were wearing masks. Didn't even have them around their necks. No gloves on. Ans one of them was eating food casually near/overtop the grill so...do with that information what you will. TLDR: Great food. Good service. Terrible COVID precautions. read more

This new location is by Ulta across from Keystone Fashion Mall. It has a cute patio for when it's nice out and a garage door from the inside to the patio. We came here during Indy Burger Week and their participating burger was their signature, Flamme Burger. I was told it wasn't going to be spicy but when it came, I saw a bunch of seeds so I was cautious. I ended up having to pick off all the seeds because it was too spicy but the burger was cooked well and there bacon was crispy. The flamme sauce is by far my favorite. I was told they had about 10-15 sauces but they're not all on the menu. We ordered an assortment of all the fries they had (truffle Parmesan, regular, sweet potato, queso fries). We tried the garlic aioli, balsamic Parmesan, bbq, chipotle and flamme sauce. We had great service and a quick lunch! I will say that the smell lingered on our clothing when we got back to the office so just a heads up! read more

Yum yum! This place is great! I had heard of it before but didn't realize this location existed. I found out from our waitress that they are pretty new. I was heading to Ulta for a few things and had to stop in for something to eat. My friend and I shared a burger and fries with dipping sauces. We had the Flamme Burger on a whole wheat bun and it was excellent. We loved the Flamme sauce for the fries as well. The fries were cooked well and crispy. We heard the server behind us going over his speech about the menu. When he got to us we heard almost the exact same pitch. Suggestion: switch it up a bit. Only rated two stars again because of carry out. It was late and we stopped by last Friday close to closing. We were going to dine in but I hate to roll in late when workers need to clean up and go home. We ordered a kids meal cheeseburger and a kids meal grilled chicken. I checked my husband's order and it was spot on so I did not check my order. When I got home I had a grilled cheese after pointing to it to the waitress on the menu. After scouring yelp for a suggestion and a quick bite to eat on a beautiful Saturday I came across this place and we decided to check it out. What really enticed me was the wings pictures I saw. So we went and sat on the patio, I got a beer and got the wings and a cowboy burger. My wife got mushroom and Swiss. She got fries and we all shared. Everything was outstanding! They might have some of the best wings in the city. I know that's a bold statement to say but I would put them up against anyones. My 2 year old seemed to really enjoy them as well! Oh the good ol "burger wars!" Up for debate for sure, but Flamme delivers a pretty solid contender. I chose the "Wagyu" burger sautéed onion, mushrooms applewood smoked bacon and gruyere cheese and Dijon. The Dijon was a weird addition and I probably should have left that off, but overall a pretty tasty burger. I wish it would have had more mushrooms. The option of selecting from several bun options was a nice addition. I would have no problem going back to try some of the other burger options and the menu is very well priced for what you get. The beer selection was pretty minimal. They had the basic local and domestic beer options. The service wasn't the best. Decided to try a new burger spot today and we were not disappointed . First off it was not busy on a Sunday which was amazing was seated immediately. First we started with chipotle bbq wings they were amazing dry rubbed with Buffalo and grilled on a open flame really made the wings tasty different technique that they used with the wings that were amazing for dinner Me and my husband split the bacon bbq burger and the flamee fried chicken sandwich . My son had the grill cheese which was a pretty good helping for a kids meal . Burger was very flavorful had a side chipotle bbq sauce which was amazing a little sweet with a little spicy also I had the truffle fries that were not bad I would have liked more truffle oil on them but I really did enjoy them , some of the best truffle fries I had since we visited Chicago . While being shopping at Keystone neighbourhood, I picked this place after searching online based on the good vibes. I came back with a friend of mine to compare my vibes with his. We ordered the chicken burger, Indy Burger, french fries and sweet potato fries . The meats were properly and thoroughly cooked, burgers were fresh and flavorful, and the toppings were top of the notch and piled up and spilling out the sides. We requested the burgers to be sliced in halves to share the bites and make an assertive conclusion at the end. I really could see the good vibes on my friend's face. All the face expressions and the pace of chewing really showed how scrumptious it was. The wait time for preparation was fairly acceptable. The host and the server who took our order were friendly and did his job with a smile and an attentive service which made the overall experience more enjoyable. AMAZING!! My boyfriend and I stopped by for dinner and we were blown away but how good the food was. He is basically a burger connoisseur and said nothing but good things about the burger that he had. I believe he had the Indy burger? I had the salmon burger with the truffle fries and OMG it was delicious. Our waitress told us everything that Flamme Burger makes is made in house including sauces such as the ranch and even their aïoli sauce. We've been here 3 times now, so obviously they are doing somethings right. We've tried wings, shakes, burgers, chicken sandwiches, mozzerella wedges, zucchini straws, fries, etc. And never left with a bad taste in our mouths. I had a bbq burger last weekend and it came out hot and soooo juicy. Seriously one of the best burgers I've had in awhile. Flamme wasn't our first choice for dinner, but it was later and it was one of the few places not about to close. Regardless we didn't end up dissatisfied. The service is always friendly, the host (man with long blondish hair) that sat us this last visit was very kind. We're not always in the market for burgers, but this place become reliable and a go to if we are in the area and want a simple good meal. First time here but not the last. We had a Truffle Burger and a Flamme Burger and shared an order of fries. They were ordered medium rare and they were cooked perfectly. Wait staff was extremely courteous and food was served very quickly. It wasn't a very busy time of day, between lunch time and dinner. Loved the way they served each of the burgers on a wooden tray with a large enough knife to cut through the large burgers. Fries were served in a little deep fry basket, so cute. I'm not a fan of the fries, feel like they're overcooked. It's a nice sports bar/sitdown restaurant style. Plenty of TVs to catch games. And it's got a relaxed atmosphere. It was a bit messy, sugar packets on the ground, wet/dirty table and chairs. Food is good, service is good, nice atmosphere, but they can improve on cleaning up better. This is an amazing place! My three friends and I bumped in late afternoon during the week to find a smart and tidy spot with outdoor seating with a super fly staff. We went for seared tuna to start, so good! Had to do burgers seeing the winning ratings from past four years in local competitions, did me a wagyu while others went for good looking beef too. The Metazoa Brew offers were a treat too however these local indie breweries do not know how to maintain a solid stout option during the summer, left me with a cherry fruited almost sour which actually was right up the street given the warm day and spicy hits from the burger. And what a hit, this wagyu is easily a top three burger, maybe two! Only beaten by my local Lafayette place Bistro501, I tasted a very rich and thick tender meat. Medium rare is ideal for wagyu, already very tender and easily overcooked, please never order this patty warmer. The others were equally thrilled with their options, egg, bacon, onion strings, and other fancy feast combos done the whole table so right. The sweet potato fries were a surprise too, thick and starchy, that good flavor profile often lost to thin cutting and overfrying. My slaw salad was well balanced with a lot of good notes but had quite a few pieces way too big to eat or even cut up. Guess it's silly to try cabbage when there's spuds. I absolutely LOVE this place! If I lived in the area, I would be a regular FOR SURE. I was only in town for a week and I ate here twice (once for dinner and another for lunch on a different day.) Then, they had peanut butter to go in their shake?! I always give extra points to restaurants that have a few extra flavors than the traditional chocolate, strawberry, vanilla. Okay, I'm a sauce girl. So, when I found out they have like 8 different sauces you can have for no additional charge, I was highly impressed. My favorite was their Diablo Sauce sauce. It was super flavorful. If you're not a spicy person their garlic aioli was also tasty too. I then had a salad for dinner one night and a burger for lunch a different day. Both were AWESOME. (Pretty much I'm running out of descriptive words to say this place is one of the best burger places I've ever had.) Let's talk about the decor. I thought the women's bathroom was so cute! I know it's random, but the details matter to me and you could tell someone thought about the ambiance they wanted in this place. I also loved that the vibe of the place was different depending on the time of day. For example, I came for an early dinner one night (around 4PM) and there were cartoons on the TV. (There were also a number of little kids eating as well.) Then, a couple days later, I came for a work lunch and it was sports on the TV. So smart! On to the service! Both wait staff I had the pleasure of meeting genuinely seemed like they loved their jobs - which was refreshing. They were also really informative about the menu too, which of course is always nice.
