It smells amazing! We decided on the buffalo wings and onion straws. Yall... I was underwhelmed... but I can't explain why. The texture wasn't right. Good flavor but based on the smoke smell it just wasn't it! The sauce was a basic buffalo sauce. Nice size wings tho. Even tho they are dredged in sauce the wings seemed soggy. I can't explain the texture. They also weren't Hot like they had just been made... That may have been it. The onion straws are a must and we will order them every time! I forgot to order dessert before cashing out so I ordered when he came to the table to bring card back. The dessert was on the special menu and obviously didn't remember seeing the price because that piece of cake was $11.99. Now it was good but for $11.99 I can buy a whole cake! Very overpriced. Not my favorite burger I've had. I got the Wagyu Burger but whatever sauce was on it made the burger taste sour everything else was yummy and the others at my table said it was pretty good, I'll have to try another burger next time! BEST burgers in Indy. If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would so I'm going to leave a big review. I gave it a try upon recommendation and came back 5 times within a span of two weeks. The service is amazing. You get greeted and sat as soon as you arrive and the servers are highly attentive. Abby, William and Dylan have all served our family including a toddler and were very thoughtful with handling food around our little girl. We love to order different items each time and share before we find our regular. Here is everything I have tried - Wagyu Burger - The JUICIEST and most tender of all the burgers at Flamme. I believe it is because the beef is different. (My top two favorite) Truffle Burger - Best truffle mushroom burger I have tried anywhere. The truffle cheese, truffle oil packs a punch of flavor but does not drown out the house blend of beef. Works perfectly. (My top two favorite) BBQ Burger - You get more for your money with this burger. It is topped with a heaping pile of crispy onion straws and the best part is.... The onions stay crispy. Bourbon Burger - Might have been my least favorite, but still beats many burgers I have tried. Not to discourage, this is just my taste palette. I'm sure for bourbon sauce lovers, this burger will not disappoint. Flamme Fried Chicken - My fiancee LOVED this chicken sandwich. I thought it was okay compared to others that we have had, but he swears by it. Again it's all a matter of preference. **** ENTREES DO NOT COME WITH A SIDE. It was a little disappointing to know that the burgers do not come with a side so the tab ends up getting a bit steep, but with Flamme Burger I actually do not mind. The value of the products is unbeatable. For a burger, a side and a soda you are looking at $16 - $20. I'm a bit frugal, but I know good food and Flamme Burger has it. However the sides are big enough to feed two so we usually share the regular fries as they don't taste much different from the truffle fries.******** Zucchini Fries - It's an appetizer so it's definitely more expensive than a side, but shared between two or three it holds the same cost I like to think! This is a STAPLE. We get this everytime we order. Great crunch, great flavor and the garlic aioli is a perfect sauce pairing. Peanut Butter Shake - Their shakes are made from gelato and again... I've never had better. I'd like to note that our most recent server Dylan even split the shake in two cups because I wanted plain peanut butter and my fiancee wanted chocolate peanut butter. We also received complimentary cookies. What a treat! Chipotle BBQ wood fired wings - I'm gonna have to call out BWW's, because Flamme Burgers does it better. The actual chicken is much better quality and never dry, always tender. It's a burger place and makes better wings, enough said! However, it is much more expensive, but you get what you pay for. This is also a staple every time we come. Sauces I've tried - Chipotle Mayo, Basil Balsamic Aioli, Garlic Aioli, Flamme sauce, truffle aioli. They're all housemade and have delicious distinct flavors. The basil aioli surprised me and goes well with zucchini fries. My favorite would have to be the chipotle Mayo. I always need 3. Another bonus for me is that the sauces were actually displayed on the menu 3 for $1.50. Sauces in general are super underrated and I love the Flamme Burger emphasizes them. Ok..so I can't say I'm a burger "snob", but I will say that most burger restaurants disappoint me. I know there is a city favorite 'chain' that everyone loves, but I just wasn't impressed. I had just concluded that if I want a burger, I'll stick to the east coast chain and only the one in the Castleton location. However, I had been past Flamme Burger a number of times heading to Kohls and it ALWAYS smelled amazing...but smells could be deceiving. I'm here to say...this place is Freakin' LEGIT...this is a BURGER SPOT (the have chicken too, but that's not what we were here for)!!! So there was four of us for dinner. Husband got the blue cheese burger...he felt the blue cheese was a bit over powering but I'm overriding him and I say, there's no such thing as too much blue cheese. My oldest daughter picked the california burger that came with thick cut bacon and thick cut avocados and cheese. My youngest got the bourbon burger (hands down the best burger out of the 4) and I got the Waygu burger. We added fries to our order and a tasty peppermint martini. This took my spot for the best burger whenever me and my girlfriend came here earlier in the summer, we dined outside and enjoyed all of our food! Unfortunately the other night we decided to try takeout, ordered around 8pm (their closing time being stated 9 pm) we ordered our burgers medium-well, sorry for the gross factor of ate food, but pictured below is what we received. We were hungry so we tried haha but couldn't. When we returned at around 8:30 we were told the kitchen had closed for the night so they weren't able to remake the food but just refund. Having worked in the food industry and having to cook up until closing time that was another major disappointment to experience. The staff was super friendly, but seemed more focused on having a short close. We'll probably come back for a dine-in experience at some point, but I caution against any late-evening carry out orders. Editing my review, after receiving a "sincere" apology followed by being chastised by the owner. You do realize word of mouth exists right? I spoke highly before posting any reviews, but clearly I'm the bad guy now. Who eats pink burgers? This isn't steak, the lighting is not the best in the photos but defending a medium well burger chock full of pink is not a good look. Neither is refunding only half the order; especially considering we went home hungry that night because of the early closure and down $40 that was meant to be a treat for us. Second time at Flamme Burger and it was soooo good! My kids had fish tacos and bacon cheddar burger. Of course I go to a burger place and order a teriyaki chicken sandwich with French fries. The yummy smells of char grilled food hits you all the way out into the parking lot. We were seated quickly and our waitress was delightful. At the end of our meal they gave us a warm fresh baked chocolate chip cookie. The manager was welcoming and inquired about the service. The food was absolutely delicious! My teriyaki sandwich was very messy but so good. The burgers were flavorful and juicy. The fish tacos were loaded full of tasty toppings. Our visit was excellent! Although it's easy to miss Flamme Burger from the road as you drove by, you need to stop in for a burger. The flavors are en fuego; I ordered the bacon cheddar burger, and the chipotle sauce perfectly accented the grilled flavor of the burger. Of the burgers I've tried in Indy thus far, Flamme Burger tastes the most like the grilled burger you've enjoyed on sunny summer afternoons. It had the perfect amount of char, and the cook on the meat was perfect. I really enjoyed the fact that my burger was not very greasy; I also opted for the pretzel bun (which was the right choice for the bacon cheddar). It was a bit expensive $20 after tip for lunch, but i will say the food was good. I got the wings...yummm!!!!!! I got half and half on the sauces. They fell off the bone. I remember someone mentioning they topped ale emporium and fat dans and i would likely agree. Very impressed. I love a good french fry place, but what i like even more is dipping my fries. I enjoyed Flamme Burger! We stopped by here since we were in the area and felt like burgers. I got the Flamme Burger and my Fiance got the Indy burger. I thought the spice on it was a good level for a burger. It was definitely noticeable and had a good zip to it but it didn't over power the rest of the burger and the sauce and peppers still had good flavor. I thought the burgers were just a little small but the prices also seemed to reflect this pretty well as these did seem a bit cheaper than other burgers of this style. Both of our burgers were slightly under the medium rare we asked for but that didn't really deter either of us and I happily ate the whole thing with no concern. We also split the fries which were great! We just got the fries as is but these definitely seem like great fries for dipping or getting loaded. Over all I liked it and would definitely come back. My husband ordered the Southwest Chicken Salad and ordered extra chicken. We forgot to take a photo but it was a heaping portion of chicken and salad fixings. I had a standard burger with cheddar and the optional pretzel bun. It was very juicy and just the right size. It could have used a little more seasoning but the taste overall was good. The fries were also crispy and well seasoned. The portion was large enough for sharing too. What really made our trip special was the service. Our waitress was very attentive to filling drinks and ensuring our meal was correct and we were happy. The manager also stopped by and we complimented them on the good service. Maybe because it is the Christmas season or maybe because the food and staff are so great I am giving 5 Stars to a burger joint. Normally just based on the theme of the restaurant they wouldn't break 4 Stars, but everything really is that good here. The menu is huge and so much more than just burgers and fries. Even the fries have something for everyone: regular French Fries with ketchup to Truffle Fries and Balsamic Aioli. My server Alex was great, she and I became instant bff's by bonding over Star Wars. We ordered two burgers and a milkshake. My burger was the waygu and came with a ton of mushrooms and peppers. It was very well seasoned, it may have just been S&P. Very good. My guy had a bacon burger and he devoured it. We hadn't eaten all day, but it was so good! Then we shared a pb milkshake which was very peanut buttery. It was quite good. My only gripe is the price was a bit high. Great service! And they sell alcoholic bevvys. They have sports TV on. We forgot to order the sweet potato fries and they brought them out quickly. The only thing I would improve is the sweet potato fries were not crispy. These sweet potato fries were very tasty though. I was pleased that they actually tasted like sweet potatoes not just something crispy that needs catchup to make it tolerable. I will definitely go back again. I think someone put the flame out. I wanted, so badly, to love Flamme burger. Some of my favorite yelpers have left them fantastic reviews. Sadly, for me, their food just wasn't up to par. Let me be fair, and state that I had a veggie burger and parmesan garlic fries, TO-GO. With that, there's some expectation that the food won't be as perfect as it is when it's fresh off the grill. With that, I was still wholly disappointed with the veggie burger. While the flavor of the patty itself was good, the texture simply didn't pass muster. The patty began to lose it's shape, almost as soon as I picked it up, and most of the "burger" ended up spilling out of the sides and onto my plate before I could finish the burger. The fries I had were alright, but not necessarily anything I would go out of my way to order again. The bartender who took my was a delight, and you could tell that he took pride in his work. He even offered a sample of their new Salted Carmel Bourbon milkshake, and it was delightful. If I were looking for bar service and spiked milkshakes only, then Flamme would definitely be on my list. I believe this is a new-ish location for Flamme, and it appeared to be outstandingly clean. The lighting was more than adequate, and gave a cheery feel to the space. The decor, for me, felt a bit lacking. I'm hoping the company will add a few things to jazz it up a bit. So many opportunities to decorate with Flames (the lampshades were a nice touch)! Overall, this wasn't a terrible experience, but I'm not sure I would go out of my way to visit. If we're in the area, and my friends want to stop by, I won't say "no." read more

I read a review from a fellow yelp about flame burger she made it sound so good we had to try it. When we walked in to the restaurant the wood fired grill smelled so good couldn't wait. We were seated in Carson's section. Order our drinks and food. I got the Bourbon burger it had mushroom and onions sautéed in a bourbon sauce with jalapeño jack cheese. It came out perfect no pink just the way I like it. Still Juicy and a lot of flavor. Also Truffle Parmesan fries they were good but I think they could have been cooked a little longer they were a bet limp. They have a full bar and TVs for all those sport fans.
