My son turned 17 and decided he wanted to celebrate his birthday at this award winning local burger spot with his sister and I. It's a Friday night and their advertised hours are Sunday through Thursday 11 am until 9 pm with Friday and Saturday closing at 10 pm. We decided to go at 9 fully expecting the dining room to be open since the hours are clearly posted and we arrived an hour before closing. To my surprise, we walked in and someone who I'm assuming is the manager looks our way and says to the hostess that they're only doing takeout. He clearly made that decision as we walked in. The dining room was empty except one couple who hadn't received their food yet. I could understand if it were 30 mins before, but an hour means you should just close at 9 pm everyday. A couple walked in minutes after us and were also given this information, but decided to leave instead of order. I did, however, order for my son since I opted out and he was looking forward to eating here. This was not how I expected to celebrate my son's birthday but was forced to even though they had roughly eight people "working" and were unable to accommodate three. This really left a feeling of disdain that I can't shake. I have no desire to patronize this establishment in the future as I was not welcomed during business hours this time. Hopefully this is a learning experience and they'll choose to service customers within reason.

Despite the place seeming busy, we were seated right away with no waiting. It was nice, bright, and cheery inside with a nice warm feel to it. I don't recall the music that was playing but sort of remember it being upbeat. I went to the bathroom shortly after we got seated and noticed the bathroom was nice and clean. We were seated at a nice roomy booth near the bathrooms and kitchen. The deco seemed to match their restaurant with orange and yellow flames on the booth windows. There was some wood stacked against a wall near our table. There were also some TVs on the wall, some showing sports, some advertising the restaurant's food. The restaurant also seemed very clean. We started off with Diet Cokes to drink and an appetizer called The Grilled Garden. It was grilled zucchini, grilled eggplant, grilled red onions, and grilled red peppers. They came with two servings of creamy and tangy garlic aioli. The vegetables seemed to be seasoned, I couldn't quite place the seasoning, but the vegetables were delicious! I've never tried eggplant before, but it was good! I then ordered a West Coast Burger cooked medium rare. It was on a brioche bun with that creamy and tangy garlic aioli, perfectly ripe and creamy sliced avocado, roasted red pepper, and nice fresh and soft mozzarella cheese. It was mouthwateringly juicy and the flavors blended well together. I had a side of more grilled zucchini which was again very tasty. My wife had the Flamme Burger cooked medium. It had hot roasted Serrano peppers, creamy gruyere cheese, thick applewood smoked bacon, and a spicy Flamme sauce on a brioche bun. She very much enjoyed her burger. It was cooked to perfection. It was spicier than she was expecting, but still very good. She had sweet potato fries on the side. I tried one of the fries, they were really cooked well with not too much salt. Just the right amount of soft and crispy. Ethan was our server and he was very attentive, polite, friendly, and professional. Another gentleman came by our table to check on us and took one of our plates, I believe he may have been the manager, but we don't know and we didn't ask. He was friendly as well. We will definitely return because they have excellent burgers and grilled vegetables!

Great service! Food was phenomenal!! Check was totally ripped off!!! Ordered the flamme chicken minus the pickle and slaw, said she would do as the build your own to save money actually cost me an additional $4:(. Complaints was made was told it would be taken care of but never was:( Chicken was delicious, queso fries were awesome!!! Highly recommend just make sure u look at your check before paying!!

Properly cooked medium burger. Ordered a breaded tenderloin. Meat was juicy, breading was not too salty but could have used some pepper

Welcoming atmosphere, friendly table service. Lots of options, salmon blt sounded really good. It was my first time there so stuck with the burger. It was flame cooked, moist and delicious. They grind meat daily so I ordered medium. Will be back to try some of the other options. They do need to take out one of the outside tables, it almost blocks the entry.

It was fun to check this place out. Fun options and care to detail, but a little eccentric for my taste. Definitely worth visiting and I would like to try their chicken options. The service was very attentive, but the atmosphere inside left something to be desired.

I was in Indy for work and the coworker we were working with highly recommended this place. We were seated immediately, our waitress was friendly, attentive, and very helpful with suggestions. Everyone working there seemed to have great attitudes as well. My burger was very good, but super messy. I had no choice but use fork and knife to eat it. There was no picking it up without making a major mess. This isn't a bad thing, except I was in work clothes & had to return to work after. The waitress recommended the zucchini fries and she was absolutely right to. They were great. I will definitely go back next time I visit the office in Indy

The food was good. I think the fries were too oily for my liking. Service was quick, very nice place and quiet but we also came later around 7ish!

Our Indy foodie group came to Flamme Burger for dinner one night because we have heard how wonderful the burgers were, and I can confirm that this is true. The ambiance is really nice and cool with fire theme decor and a nice display of firewood in the back. The menu provided a huge variety of burgers that you could choose from such as a bourbon burger, turkey burger, and the famous Flamme Burger which won the Indy burger battle several times. I ordered the Flamme Burger which consisted of jalapeno hot peppers, brie cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion with a side of sweet potato fries. I had the Guggman Haus River Side East IPA to drink which was very refreshing and tasted perfect. The Flamme Burger was probably the best burger I have had in Indy in quite a while. I can see why it won the Indy Burger Battle four years in a row because it is just pure heaven. The burger was cooked at the right temperature and was very juicy and flavorful. It was definitely a party in my mouth and I loved it very much. I do not eat burgers very often, so this was definitely a huge treat for me and I'm glad I stopped by Flamme Burger this night for a burger. A few of us decided to get the gelato shake for dessert because it was so tempting. I ordered the chocolate peanut butter gelato shake to go and it was incredible!! Very rich and thick just like a milkshake should be! Flamme Burger is a nice hidden treasure in the Keystone area that not a lot of people know about, so you have to come here for a burger. You will not be disappointed!! The service was very impressive from our server and was on top of everything with our group, so you will enjoy having wonderful customer service at Flamme Burger.

Flamme Burger has never disappointed me! It's one of my favorite burgers in the city! Always full of flavor. We went to celebrate my moms birthday and even though it was a busy Saturday night, the service was great! The manager was more than kind and gave my mom a birthday shake. The ambiance could be better (wobbly table, distressed wooden plates) to match the tastiness of the food they serve.

Delicious and fresh food, so much fun for the kids, and service was good but a little slow. Only downside is the location. Area is pretty worn down. Food: The pizza is delicious and fresh. Nice chew, a little bit crisp and the great smell of freshly dough. We got the sausage and pepperoni; sausage was better but both were good. The breadsticks were hot and delicious. A little soggy with butter but I mean.. it's butter. Is that bad? Dipping cheese was better than your standard stadium nacho cheese. Chopped salad was very fresh. Not the most interesting but still good. Hot Honey chicken wings were clearly freshly battered and fried. Incredible. Very similar to Korean Fried Chicken. Alcohol: Beer and wine option were good. Could use a couple more wine options. Beer and wine had a great range of styles and prices. Bar looked very well stocked for mixed drinks or drinking neat. Service: Staff was kind and helpful. They could have been slightly more available. The food did take a while longer than I would have expected for it not being that busy. But with how fresh it was, I'm sure it's because they were making it fresh. Ambiance: Tons of space. Ultra family friendly. Board games, yard games, ping pong, fire pits. Awesome! Train tracks across the parking lot were a fun side benefit. Kids loved watching the trains go by. Drinking out of plastic cups wasn't my favorite but I understand why. Location: Next to North Mass Boulder. Not a great part of town but felt safe once you're there. Final thoughts: If you're downtown and have kids, you gotta stop here especially if it's nice outside.

The outdoor space is one of my favorite parts--string lights overhead, plenty of seating, and just an all-around laid-back atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a drink on a nice day. The drink prices were surprisingly reasonable too, which never hurts. Brooke and Daniel took great care of me and made the experience even better. Friendly service always stands out, and they definitely delivered. I ended up ordering the pulled pork pizza to take home, and that turned out to be a fantastic decision. The smoky pulled pork, tangy barbecue sauce, and generous layer of cheese all worked together perfectly. It was one of those pizzas where you keep reaching for "just one more slice." Bonus points for something a lot of places overlook: the bathrooms were spotless. Clean enough that you actually notice--and yes, they even smelled clean. Whether you're looking for a casual neighborhood bar, a great patio to relax on, or surprisingly good food, Dugout Bar checks all the boxes. I'll definitely be back.

We complimented it, asked where they found it, and before we knew it, we were chatting with a wonderful couple who had traveled all the way from overseas just to watch Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever play that night. Moments like that are one of the reasons I love Indianapolis on game days. The patio was the perfect place to soak it all in. Fever fans filled the sidewalks, kids proudly carried homemade signs, and there was an excitement in the air that only comes from a city rallying behind its team. We could have people-watched for hours. Our waitress was exactly what every server should strive to be. Friendly, relaxed, and genuinely fun to talk to, she somehow mastered the art of appearing right before we found ourselves looking around for her. We never felt rushed, but we also never waited for anything. The food held up its end of the bargain too. The fried mozzarella disappeared embarrassingly fast and earned a solid 9.3 on my unofficial stretch meter. As for the drinks: beer prices were nice and cheap, but the margarita was on the expensive side and not really worth it.
