I visited this restaurant when they first opened. The burger was solid, but not exceptional. That has changed! I feel like the patty was bigger and juicier, the flame grilling added nice flavor, the seasoning was on point, the toppings added to the burger without covering the flavor of the meat and the pretzel added a solid base that didn't get soggy with my medium rare cook temp. In addition, their non burger options have expanded. My wife had the bruschetta Caesar salad with grilled chicken and she said it's one of the best salads she's ever tasted. Bottom line, if you've gone before and weren't impressed, I'd give it another shot, Flamme is making some great food. read more

We just wanted to try something new and was craving a burger. So we wanted to try Flame Burger. You walk in and smell the wood fire! Yum! You order at the counter get your drink from the drink station and get a number so the server will come to deliver the food. Very quick service! I had the special which was the Hawaiian burger on a pretzel bun and the truffle parmesan fries. The burger was very good and unique flavor. The fries was where wonderful but the truffle is a flavor to get used too. For 2 kid burger meals and 2 adult burgers 4 drinks came to 41 dollars. Another Dad and I took four teenagers, including my son to eat mid-afternoon on a Saturday for a late lunch. We were able to watch the Masters golf tournament on the large TV's while we ate. The service was excellent. The burgers were outstanding. Personally I think I would get the regular fries next time instead of the truffle fries-both were good. I'm in love! I already told the owner that we need one b my house in Illinois. Excellent food and service. I cannot stress the importance of both and how hard it is to get both in one spot. First, the service. From the moment we walked in through departure, we were greeted and attended to as we were stars at a 5 star restaurant. Everyone there behaved as if they loved their job and the brands they represented. They were all enthusiastic and attentive. We even got to chat with the owner who was very friendly and proud of his proprietary grill and menu. The hamburger we chose was the bourbon. It had grilled onions and mushrooms sauteed in A-1. The meat is a blend of brisket, sirloin, and short ribs. It was perfectly prepared to medium, as we wanted. This was juicy and flavorful. We also ordered the wings. They are baked and then flame grilled. The char flavor is real and awesome! The Diablo and Chipotle barbeque sauces are so flavorful. I can't put it to words how happy this food made me feel. My husband enjoyed it all in the same way I did. He even ordered the strawberry shortcake gelato shake. What?! A gelato shake??? It was creamy and delicious. I'm repeating his response because I certainly didn't get the chance to taste it... He smashed it. Please visit this place as often as possible. Decided to try this place after hearing mixed reviews. We walked in and they weren't busy (only one other couple there). The smell was pretty bad (it was the woodfire smoke but it really burned my eyes - I decided I would just deal with it). Our hostess was also our server and it was clear she wasn't having a great night. We ordered quickly and didn't love the pricing - my burger was $12 with no side, but whatever. As we waited for the food, our waitress sat in a booth on her phone texting and later chatting as she walked around the nearly empty place. After her call, she began yelling at the kitchen staff and it made us SO uncomfortable. Atmosphere is a big part of the restaurant experience and she made the atmosphere pretty terrible as she continued to go off on them the rest of our time there. Our food arrived and it was alright. My Wagyu Burger was pretty good for a charred burger and I enjoyed the pretzel bun. We shared truffle fries which were bland at best - they didn't taste fresh and were covered in a powdery cheese. The waitress began mopping by our table and there were puddles of water so we noticed we would need to be careful walking out. A man told us to watch it when we left. Dude, why not also address your yelling waitress? Overall, we will never return. Food isn't worth the price and like I said, atmosphere was AWFUL. It was winter so the overhead door was closed and the air had a haze of smoke which got into our clothes. The service was ok, a bit slow, they should make asking what type of bun you want part of the ordering process because they have several but we forgot about that whil ordering. Flamme Burger is family owned and they don't have a freezer in the restaurant so all of their food is FRESH af. We have fallen in love with Flamme Burger!! We are from Memphis, TN visiting family here in Indiana. Every time we come to visit, we make it a point to visit this restaurant. We stumbled upon this location via Yelp's recommendation from our location. We were seated within minutes of walking into the restaurant by a very nice young lady that checked on us throughout the course of our visit. We arrived during lunch hours and took advantage of the Lunchbox Special for $12.95, which included a burger, fries, and a drink. We were also told that kids eat free on Mondays with the purchase of an adult burger. However, we later learned that it is only for dinner. The service here was top notch from the waitresses and owners alike. As we enjoyed our meal, the initial greeted returned to our table to apologize for being on the phone when we arrived. WOW!!! We told him that we appreciated him coming to apologize, but we also understood that it was very busy and he still managed to take care of us!!!! We asked our server about the wings and he said that people come especially for them. We ordered them as an appetizer and they were yummy. We had naked and spicy bbq, I think! My daughter ordered a chicken sandwich from the kids menu and my son ordered a burger, both were delicious. Ordered the chicken sandwich with applewood smoked bacon and avocado slices. Great burgers and fries. We've tried multiple selections on the menu. Chicken sandwich options are good too. The shakes are a little thick for my taste and they're hard to drink through a straw. But I love that I can have a burger quickly with a craft beer. Prices are very much in line with what you would expect from a upper scale faster food restaurant. It's not McDonalds prices like some reviewers seem to wish they had. It's a little different type of place as you order after walking in and seat yourself with service, but we really like it.
