Solid first dining experience upon landing in Tampa. Located in the lively Armature Works food hall, I chose this spot because Cuban food is nearly nonexistent back home. Offspring got the frita cubano, which he really enjoyed, and I got the shrimp protein bowl. The shrimp were well seasoned, and paired very well with the onions and plantain. The portion of black beans and rice on the bottom of the bowl was too much for me to finish. Offspring got a regular Horchata and I got the iced coffee Horchata, both of which were delicious and tasted unique. There were many fun flavor options for the flan, but we stuck with the OG and it delivered - so creamy, with that delightful burnt caramel on the bottom, and ideal portion size for two to share.

My family from Brooklyn wanted a delicious Cuban sandwich so where else would I take them . So off To my favorites spot for Cubans and flans duh. We had Timba and croquets for starters and it was delicious like always . Then we all had a Cuban and we also shared the Cuban fried rice with chicken for the table. My family loved everything . They really enjoyed the rice and the Cubans and then we ordered flans it's a must . We did the coconut and coquito and it was just amazing as always . My family said it was delicious and when they come back to Tampa it's a must visit . I have been here many times and never had a bad experience I feel like my experience gets better and better .

A hidden Gem , Hands down best authentic Cuban Sandwich I've had in my life, the moist well seasoned pork reminded me of the Homemade pork my grandmother would make for the family In addition to Cuban Sandwiches , they also carry a variety of Chicken , steak , Turkey and vegan sandwiches . And to say the least the Flan flavors are to die for , they had approximately 20 different flavors to pick from , I had the Pistachio flan which was nothing less than amazing! The ambiance has great Vibes , and parking on the premises is an extra . I will definitely return to get my Cuban fix !

There is plenty of seating and staff was wonderful. The Tampeño Cuban Sandwich was ok and the coconut flan tasted like Coco Lopez coconut cream. Not the best flan, nor an award winning sandwich taste. I also had an Horchata which was very creamy not like any Horchata I already had. Again ok, not great! Overall it was ok, but not the greatest flan nor Cuban sandwich!

A taste of home! I was living in Austin TX for the last six years and this was exactly the taste that I missed. This protein bowl was a little of everything you want to have with Florida Latin culture. It reminds me of Miami and Cuban food and everything was seasoned to perfection. The Sangria was sweet and citrusy. My only complaint is I should have gotten an extra to take home because I live 20 miles away. Last time I came to this location inside of Armature, it was still Latin but it was called something different and the menu was different. This new-to-me joint is a thumbs up for me. I'd prefer this food which feels like home than most of the other places in this food hall.

Love Flan Factory and hands down the best flan in Tampa!! I haven't tried anything besides the flan yet, but I've heard the Cuban sandwich and the empanadas are really good. Next time I go, I'll definitely try more items on the menu. My go-to favorites are Olga's Original, Salted Caramel, and Pistachio. Absolutely delicious every time!

Fast service, kind staff, and the best Cuban sandwich we've had in Tampa. The chicken empanada was absolute fire. Beef empanada was very good but the chicken is definitely where it's at. Plenty of seating for a larger group of 10 at a single table. Will be coming back here!

Best Cuban I have had in Tampa. Also tried the Timba which was so delicious. This will definitely be on my rotation to be back!

I had been wanting to check out the Flan Factory for quite some time. I liked that they offered quick, friendly and fast counter service. The restaurant is clean, has a nice vibe and has a good amount of seating. Free parking across the street and in the parking lot. The Cuban was packed full of roasted pork, an easily shareable sandwich. So you have to give credit to them for giving you plenty of value for your money. I thought it was good, but nothing amazing, especially when you've had a Cuban from the Floridian. The side of beans and rice were also just fine, nothing amazing. We skipped the flan as we were full so I'll need to go back and check that out and try a few other items.

Despite the name, they offer a variety of food. We stopped by for flan but they were so many other tempting options we had to rethink our dinner plans. We ended up ordering Cuban sandwiches, rice & beans, arroz frito (Cuban fried rice), deviled crab, and of course flan - original and guava. Everything was delicious- a bit pricey but I would definitely go back. Most people get take out but there is plenty of room if you want to dine in. They have dedicated but limited parking.

Haven't been here in forever and really looked forward to trying it again. Ordered a media noche sandwich to go. Unfortunately it wasn't that great. It easily fell apart and the bread was quite small. It wasn't as tasty as I remembered it. What a bummer.

The food, the atmosphere, and the experience was beyond amazing. From this Cuban girl it's a great place for great Spanish food- everything is beyond amazing plus all those flans (coquito is the best). Had our birthday event for our friend and the staff was being amazing!

Beef Empanada - they have onions and olives, large garlic presentation

Historically located, a place you know you will be treated to authentic Cuban ingredients and traditional menu items. The name grabs you if you're a flan enthusiast. Sandwiches were full of fresh chicken/steak, so large you could share one. The coquito flan was one of the best things I ate all month. The owner's mother was sweet and walked around to each table with warm conversations. Great breakfast menu to come back and enjoy next time.

I stopped in for a quick breakfast and ordered The Yankee (pastrami, scrambled egg whites, and cheese on an English muffin), a side of breakfast potatoes, and one of their cream cheese brownies. The standout was easily the breakfast sandwich. The English muffin was one of the best I've ever had. Fresh, soft, and clearly made with care. It was also a bit larger than your typical English muffin, and honestly, the bread was so good that I found myself taking the pastrami out and eating it separately because I enjoyed the egg, cheese, and muffin combination that much. If you're someone who loves an English muffin breakfast sandwich, this is worth trying for the bread alone. The cream cheese brownie was also excellent. I would absolutely order that again. The only real letdown was the breakfast potatoes. They were just okay and could have been much crispier. They were already a little soggy even though I picked my food up as soon as it was ready and ate it immediately, so it wasn't a case of the food sitting around. Service was friendly, but I was surprised by how long the food took considering the restaurant wasn't particularly busy and there were plenty of open seats. Overall, I can definitely see why Wright's has been a Tampa staple for so long.

You think trying to serve this to a 3 year old is acceptable? I had the Italian which was fine so no complaints there. Unfortunately, after my most recent experience, I won't be returning. I stopped in around 3:00 p.m. and was happy to see it wasn't busy. I went to the deli counter, waited for someone to serve me, ordered my chicken salad, grabbed a soda and chips, and headed to the open register. As I walked up, the cashier called another customer over ahead of me. I waited while he spent several minutes deciding whether to pay cash or by card because of the 4% card fee. I continued standing there with my three items, to the point that I actually set them down and debated walking out. Then, instead of helping me, the cashier motioned for an entire family to come to the registereven though I had been standing there waiting before they arrived. After that, she waved over another customer, and I had to wait while a mother and her two teenagers decided which desserts they wanted. Again, I stood there patiently. When it was finally my turn, there was no greeting, no "thank you for waiting," nothing. The first thing I was asked was, "Do you have a pickup order?" I said no. She then motioned for my chicken salad container, saying she needed it. I placed it on the scale and set my other items on the counter. The cashier then asked, "Are you okay?" I simply shook my head because, honestly, I wasn't. Instead of recognizing why I was frustrated, she continued talking, making comments, and escalating the interaction rather than simply ringing me up. At that point, I asked, "Do you want to argue? Do you want me to go back and forth with you?" I then asked who the manager was. She pointed to a woman beside her, who identified herself as the owner. I asked if she could ring me up instead. Even then, the cashier continued making comments. It was only after she continued engaging me that my voice became louder in response. Rather than addressing the repeated comments from her employee or asking what had happened, the owner immediately said, "Do not raise your voice at my employee." That response was disappointing. There was no concern for the customer experience, no apology for repeatedly being skipped in line, and no attempt to resolve the situation. There was also no acknowledgment that the interaction had been escalated by the cashier's continued remarks before I ever raised my voice. The irony is that I have spent a significant amount of money catering from Frankie's Deli over the years because my customers love the food. Good food will bring people in once. Great customer service keeps them coming back. Sadly, this experience ended that relationship for me. There are plenty of places with great food, but respect and customer service matter just as much. One final thought: this is Florida not NY. Hospitality goes a long way. The aggressive, dismissive attitude I experienced isn't what I expect when supporting a local business. I won't be back.
