Back in the 2000's I used to dine at Flanigan's. The restaurant was packed then, and as I can see now it's still packed. After having a hard day at work, I wanted a nice drink to loosen up the tension. Even though I was on the wait list; I still had to wait for a vacant spot at the bar. Once I was seated, one of the bartenders named Nicholas handed me a drink & food menu. The ambiance was chill with dim lights, 80's rock music playing, drinks constantly being poured, and various foods being served. When I was ready, Nicholas took my drink and food order. First to arrive was my drink - Grand Bahama Mojito. It was refreshing, fruity, and lightly sweet. The lime and mint added a minty citrus flavor. I don't usually drink mojito, but I like this one. My New England clam chowder was next. Small bowl of creamy chowder with adequate pieces of potatoes and clams, and oyster crackers for added crunch. Though it was hot. I quickly devoured it. After a few minutes a waitress brought my chicken Philly. Tender pieces of seasoned chicken sauteed with mushrooms and onions, placed in a soft roll, and topped with cheese. It was served with crispy curly fries...tasty and filling. Another bartender asked if I wanted another drink. I politely declined the offer. I had a 40 minute drive to make and I need my mind right for work in the morning. Would I ever come back to Flanigan's? Probably...for drinks and an appetizer. read more

We live near the Flanigan's of Hallandale Beach and come here pretty frequently, and each time it's a great experience. You can also add yourself to the waitlist through the Yelp app which is a really nice feature. When you add yourself to the waitlist in advance, we've never had to wait more than 10 minutes for our table once we arrive. The employees are always very nice and friendly and we always have a good meal. All drink prices are very affordable and reasonable and all entrees are less than $20. The meal deal is a really good value for a variety of different menu options, including an entree, side salad, and drink. My husband and I always order a chicken sandwich or burger (including a side of fries and it's less than $14. We always add a side salad for $4 as well and love the homemade croutons. Definitely recommend Flanigan's, it's a South Florida institution! read more

As a South Florida native I have gone to Flanigan's forever and a day. I have to say this is the worst Flanigans of all. Tanisha the hostess is so rude and condescending. The manager at this establishment should really rethink where he/she places her. She shouldn't be the first impression of the brand. Although she knows her way around the tablet, her hospitality and attitude towards the paying customers leaves a lot to be desired. Once we were seated Lina was great and she followed up with us various times. She was great but Tanisha is not someone I would work or deal with let alone hire to work for me or represent the brand. I stopped in Flanigan's in Hallandale to have a bite for lunch. I had the taste for Flanigan's ribs and a nice drink of rum and coke. My waiter was Mike and he suggested the specials they had on for from 11:00 to 3:00 so I ordered the burger and they also had a rum special so I ordered a pina colada what a mistake I should have stuck with my original thoughts. I was going to order a half rack of ribs and a Bacardi and Coke and just have me a nice meal. The Pina Colada I ordered was icy crushed water with a little flavor some whipped cream and cherry on top which was one of the worst decisions. I ordered the burger medium that was the driest burger that I had had. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh, swiss cheese were good . The fries were medium warm and they got cold really fast. Mike was new but he did a great job at his service very friendly and patient. I was so disappointed this is the first time that I actually sat in the parking lot and wrote this review. I will always recommend Flanigan's just stay away from the burger at least at the one on Hallandale Beach Boulevard in Hallandale Florida. read more

Came here on a random Thursday night and gotta say one thing I like about Flanigan's is that they are definitely always consistent when it comes to the food. We typically go with the wings and they are consistently consistent. And what's makes it even better is they are part of the "Joe meal deals"; so they came with a salad, garlic bread and a drink. That most definitely hit the spot for an evening dinner. Also what made the whole experience was how friendly and chill the whole crew are at this location. Especially from the hostess to the bartenders and even the severs. They all added to the overall great experience. And even though this place is not as big as the other newer locations but this is still a very solid spot. And will come back again and again. read more

My boyfriend and I always come here when in town, and that says a lot. We love trying new places but can't stay away from Flannigans aka "Flannies". This place is always at full capacity and there is not enough staff to help. Last time we were there we waited 2 hours to be seated. Out waitress took forever to even acknowledge us, our food took 2 hours to get to us and it was cold. We never got drink refills and all in all a terrible experience. The bad is the the PRIME RIB DINNER. On Thursday's they have the prime rid special with salad. The roast beef was not close to a quarter of an inch thick. There was so much fat around it. Flanigans is such a Florida staple! Can't go wrong with a bite or drink from here from there amazing happy hour (50%off drinks) 4-7 at the bar or 9-close wherever you sit is a hit ! They also have the joes meal deals and specials during the week so make sure to ask! I always get the patron margarita with salt but I've been very into expresso martinis lately. But any drink or food item is good. If you like Philly cheesesteaks but also fish I recommend the blackened tuna hoagie it's a must !!!! It's literally like both in 1 just tuna . the chicken sticker dinner is great and you can switch up the sides but I do recommend the fries . And last the lemon chicken pasta is AMAZING ! a great appetizer is the mozzarella sticks or potato skins And for dessert there bonzai brownie. I've had many different dishes from here so it's hard to choose but these are my favorites. it's such great affordable food you cannot, not get something and hate it trust me ! I came here while on an early birthday vacation for my daughter. The last time I was down this way, I was recommended to try Flanigan's, and although I had a good time at the Hialeah location, the service was a bit slow. So, I wanted to see if I could recreate that good experience, and this location far exceeded my expectations! We checked the Google Maps app (powered by Yelp, I believe), and it said there was no wait, but when we arrived, the hostess told us it would be about 10 minutes. Luckily, we were seated in just 2-3 minutes. The inside was a decent size, and we were quickly seated. The ambiance was really nice too, with the perfect combination of lighting and music selection creating a welcoming vibe. Our server, ISIS, was amazing--personable, funny, sweet, and accurate. Everything you could want from a server. We placed our order, and the appetizers came out quickly, followed by the main meal. My daughter had the Lemon Chicken with pasta, which she said was amazing. She let me try it, and I was blown away by how flavorful and well-seasoned the chicken was. The sauce on top was delicious, and the portion sizes were huge, as you can see in the pictures. Even the garlic knots, which my daughter called "AKA the dinner rolls with garlic butter on top," were massive and so good. It was funny; as she was slipping into a food coma, she accidentally dropped a piece of her chicken and was heartbroken. ISIS consoled her, acknowledging that it was a valid concern because the food is just that delicious. I ordered the Big Daddy Burger, cooked medium. It was perfectly cooked and charred, very flavorful as well. Just a heads up-- all their burgers are 10oz, so come hungry unless you plan to take some home! We each had an order of potato skins with bacon, which were cheesy, crunchy, and flaky. Since they didn't have chipotle mayo, ISIS was kind enough to give me their chipotle sauce and some mayo, so I made my own. OMG, it was so good. I also ordered a Blue Moon to complement my meal. The total came out to $51.87, which I think is more than reasonable for the quality and amount of food we got. My daughter insisted on giving ISIS a generous tip because, as she put it, "When you work hard and do a good job, you should be compensated well." And I couldn't agree with her more! I highly recommend this Flanigan's location and the chain in general. It's 2 for 2 for me, and I will definitely be back. If you're considering going, GO--it's worth it! read more

Paris the hostess has the worse attitude I've ever encountered while waiting to be seated. I understand it's a busy night. But my guest and I did absolutely nothing to have our name removed from the waitlist as if we just did no t wait 45 minutes to be seated for a guest of 2 on a Wednesday night. Luckily her coworker has more experience and better communication skills with the guest. PARIS AND THOSE LONG NAILS NEEDS TI BE REMOVED. I have been passing by so many of these branches for YEARS and have never eaten in ...one till just the other day and it was fantastic!! I even lived by two of them in my past. I wanted something fishy to try their seafood selections, but this time around I just went for a simple cheeseburger with some broccoli. It was great!! Very fresh and very good quality! The soda didn't taste very good though. I'm glad I got to keep the nice Green cup though! I got treated very nicely and the environment was amazing and so exciting with plenty of loud music. It varies from rock and roll and 80s oldies to Spanish music. I'm guessing it was coming from their jukebox in the main floor. Nice that the server recommended the discounted lunch special to me.
