If you're looking for boojie and gluten free, this might not be your place. If you're looking for fantastic pancakes and other diabetic inducing deliciousness, this is your spot. If you go before noon, expect a wait...but it moves quick enough. The servers were all friendly and the place seemed clean. The food was fantastic. Recommend the chocolate chip pancakes for the little jits, and the Walkers Cabin Skillet for the big jits. Dang they were good.

Come here to get your carb load! The pancakes are delicious! The biscuits are delicious! The skillets are delicious! The syrup is warm Our server was a sweetheart! It felt like our mom was getting us food! The place was lively and clean. We'll certainly come back when we are in the area.

It was so exciting to find gluten-free pancakes! The grits were simple and well done.

Fast service great food even on a wait. Loved their check in app and was able to track how many parties in front of us and check out the menu. Surprising how well it all worked, staff super friendly, great food.

This place has lots of flare we are in the middle of mom's kitchen right in center of the mountains. My daughter loves this place she went with Blueberry pancakes. My wife went with the the Sticky Buns pancakes. While I choose the Spanish skillet loaded with pancakes. This is a Military friendly location!!!

Looking at reviews from #tripadvisor I had high expectations for this place. Those expectations were not met. We ordered their Twisted Bacon appetizer which was pretty good. When our entrees arrived my bacon was way undercooked. Their sausage patty lacked flavored as well as the sausage link. I ordered over medium eggs and received over less-than easy. The pancakes were great but I don't like to have to open butter packets and would prefer whipped butter on top of the pancakes. The syrup had a good taste but was not warm. Any establishment that refers themselves as a "Pancake Cabin" should serve warm syrup, imo.

Flapjacks is one of the many pancake houses you will find in the Sevierville/Gatlingburg/Pigeon Forge areas of Tennessee. Thai particular pans cake house is located on Sevierville. My family and I were in town from Lousiville for my daughters cheer competition at the nearby convention center when we stopped at Thai location for breakfast. We were fortunate to get in here right before the rush hit. There parking lot is a one way and makes a square around the building so when we were leaving their was traffic backed out to the road of people Looking for spots. The inside and decor is nice and cozy and guys they theme of the other pancake houses in the area. They also boast a pretty decent gift shop for the tourists. Service on This visit was just decent. Waitress was nice but very slow and disorganized. When we first sat down I grabbed a high chair for my daughter and turned around and a hostess snatched it up immediately. She had to see me just go and grab it. So that was strange. Food here was pretty good. I personally got the Walkers cabin skillet which is basically an egg, bacon, cheese and sausage and biscuits in a skillet. You mash them all up together and enjoy. It was really good. My oldest daughter got the sticky buns pancakes and said they were one of her favorite pancakes she had while visiting the area. My youngest girls all got the Jr. Breakfast and said it was solid. My wife got the barn Buster and it was very filling and good. She said the gravy was top notch and her favorite part. Overall was a good experience. Nice atmosphere and above average food. Service speed and awareness could be heightened but outside of that this is a fine establishment.

Love coming here!! Food was great and service was really good! Not too crowded the morning we went So that was nice. Love the country feel of the restaurant; it's very comfortable.

There's a handful of these locations around TN, so we wanted to try it. The seating was quick and the waitstaff was attentive. It felt a little crowded, but we were a large party. The atmosphere was "cabin", but the music was also kinda loud (for a pancake house, right?). Their flapjacks were the real stars here - fluffy, inventive, and attractive. The skillet was OK. It felt like there was some uneven temperature in the gravy, but the biscuit and hash browns were very fluffy. The sausage was maybe a flat, burnt-looking disc? It tasted OK, but it looks like it was cooked twice. Perhaps that's a regional look?

Stopped in this morning because my brother wanted a waffle. I've ate here before and thought the food was good, so we stopped in again. The place is made to look like a log cabin and has a homey atmosphere. It was quite busy but we were seated almost immediately and our server was very attentive. I ordered the banana nut pancakes and my brother ordered the waffle breakfast that comes with eggs and a side of bacon or sausage. He added strawberries. My brother enjoyed his waffle and said the bacon and eggs were tasty as well. I wish I had paid attention to the description of my pancakes. They were multigrain. I've never ordered multigrain pancakes before and may not again. The were too dry and crumbly. The flavor was just okay. I ate all the sliced bananas around the plate but left about half of the pancakes. Overall, it was a good breakfast. I just need to remember not to get multigrain pancakes again. I like my pancakes nice and fluffy. These were not that.

Stopped for a late breakfast so not to crowded, we have passed by multiple Flapjacks in past and always really crowded. I ordered smothered chicken, didn't read correctly thinking more of chicken fried steak. It was actually chicken tenders. They were delicious and moist. I ordered my eggs over medium and received runny eggs. See pic. The restaurant gets a 2 star because eggs are what they do and they didn't get it right. Hash brown casserole was tasty but a bit mushy. Pancakes huge and good, only enough room for a couple bites. We actually could have split one breakfast. Our server was fast and attentive. Would try again as eggs probably just a cook that needs more training.

Gordon Ramsey would consider it a threat. As a chewy bacon lover and enthusiast, when my bacon came out charred and demented, i was appalled to say the least. I had to drench it in the white gravy so it would give my stomach the illusion of chewy. Even then, even with the request of chewy, i was let down. The home fries were exceptional.. as exceptional as any other home fry you'll get on the Pigeon Forge strip. And why? They'll all the same refrigerated chips of processed mess. Soggy, not even crisp. So poor you'd hope the microwave would add additional flavors from all the other food they microwaved. I wouldn't even praise the food if paid me, it's sad enough i paid IT to taste like wet squeaky boots. But anyways the atmosphere was just bewildering! They have a big exhibit with birds you can watch. Sometimes they're loud and a bit squawk-y but it doesn't deplete the experience. This is my internal conflict with a certain drink on the menu. The Monster. This satanic abomination soup of a beverage really tempted me. I drink energy drinks and was excited to try a Monster! I mean.. we're all a little adventurous deep down.. human nature! Wrong. Apparently.. With full fledged confidence.. as much as you'd expect at a busy bar playing BINGO.. I asked the waitress for a Monster energy drink. Big. Mistake. I get it.. I took an unsuspecting picture of the beast waiting.. opened it.. and took a sip. If you were to ask me, giving somebody a pedicure with your MOUTH would taste no different than a can of this monstrosity. Maybe I recommend the restaurant.. but I don't recommend the Monster. Don't be fooled by the big print image of the can on the menu. Restaurant - 6/10 Demon Soup In An Aluminum Can - 2/10

For once in Pigeon Forge, I have ate something that actually tasted distinguishable. If you blind-folded me and had me take a bite out of different burgers from different burger joints, I could guess this one with no hesitation. However, one notable throw-off i had was that the burger had a weird aftertaste of tuna. I ordered the smash burger and it had the perfect amount of grease that doesn't drench you, but keeps up with freshness and taste. And the reason I wanted to write this review was for the french fries. Tired of soggy fries? This place puts the FRY in french fries. They maintained a delicious level of crunch and crisp (if that's your gusto) and didn't have that same refrigerator taste. I also ordered cheese curds and they had the most amazing cheese pull and tasted great! The service was excellent too, unlike some servers, they don't abandon you and they keep up with you and refills / clearing the table. If there's anything I appreciate more, it's waiters and waitresses that (even if they don't) act like they cherish their job! And if you yearn for a setting that makes you in the mood for adventure.. or a bear lover.. this place has attracting visuals so you aren't trapped in a minimalist setting. Overall, if you're up for trying new flavors and advancing your taste buds' vocabulary, I recommend The Fat Bear Family Tavern!

I visited with a family group of 10, and from the moment we sat down, the experience was outstanding. Our waitress was friendly, quick, attentive, and made excellent recommendations that helped everyone decide what to order. Despite the size of our group, she kept drinks filled, checked on us regularly, and made sure everything came out correctly. The food was exactly what you hope for when looking for a hearty country breakfast. The griddle cakes were enormous, light and fluffy with a rich buttery flavor that soaked up the syrup perfectly. They had a slightly crisp edge while staying soft and tender in the middle. The Big Breakfast Platter was massive, loaded with eggs, breakfast meats, potatoes, and grits. That will say the first batch of grits that they gave me were horrible as they were clumpy and kind of cold however the waitress easily fix that and replace them with a hot bowl of brown sugar grits that I enjoyed completely, other than this Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and anyone who ordered eggs over medium were cooked just right The biscuits were some of the best we had during our Tennessee trip--large, flaky, buttery, and soft inside and out.. Whether eaten on their own or with gravy, they melted in your mouth. What impressed us most was that every single person in our party found something they loved, and everyone left completely satisfied. We were tasting everybody's food and still left with no one finishing their plates because The portions are no joke here. In fact, my only complaint is that there was so much food on my plate that I couldn't finish it all, and had to throw it away before heading home because it was a 3-hour ride back to the house so If you're visiting Gatlinburg and want a memorable breakfast with generous portions, great service, and delicious food, Crockett's Breakfast Camp is absolutely worth the wait, and it is a long long wait. sometimes..
