A bit disappointed in my experience here. The lemon in my water was so sour it ruined my water. I got the stuffed waffles which comes with a cheesecake custard, and I asked for mixed berries and banana. The berries/sauce were sour. The pancakes were fluffy but had no flavor and the maple syrup tasted like great value brand. Not good. The hash browns were crispy, but again, not much flavor. Service was okay. Place gets pretty packed pretty quickly. Was a bit outdated. They text you once your table is ready and only took about 30min. Once seated our server greeted us rather quickly. This place was within walking distance of our hotel so we decided to give it a try. The wait was not long since they were not leaving empty tables between customers. Our waitress was very friendly and did her best to take care of us. For unknown reasons we had 3 tables that arrived after us get served before is. Two tables ate and paid before we were even served. A tray with orders finally came out and she had already given out 3 plates before she realized it was not our order. We have them back and to our surprise she took them over to the correct table. When ours came out my western omelette was not how I ordered it. She returned it and gave me another omelette which was also incorrect but I just kept it because we were in a hurry. I did not even bother to take any pictures because non of my family members were happy with their food. It was all bland and mediocre. The store that's part of the entrance had some nice items but that was about the nicest thing about the place. Unfortunately, my husband and I stumbled onto this place as an unhappy accident. We had thought it was a different pancake place that I found on yelp with a similar name. To begin with, he and I stood at the hostess table waiting to be sat for a few minutes when one member of the group of waitresses all staring at a computer finally piped in with "OH! There's people!" That should have made us turn around, by itself. But my husband and I like to give everything a chance at least once. Next, came the food. The bacon and the sausage had obviously been made earlier in the morning and sat under a lukewarm warmer until it got to us. Both were practically cold. The sausages obviously premade. Lastly the pancakes...BLECK. The pecan pancakes were literally their regular pancakes with plain pecans sprinkled on top with a few under the pancakes. I suggest using candied pecans and there was ZERO taste to these pancakes. My husband got the chocolate chip pancakes, which at least tasted like chocolate to him. My suggestion is to save your dollars and use them at Denny's or IHOP before coming into this restaurant. Pancakes restaurants are all over Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but it doesn't mean you should try some of them. read more
