    Spinach & Feta Croissant

I was at the laundromat and Cypress and wanted a bite. I wanted Chipotle, but they didn't open until 11:30 AM so I stumbled upon Flat White Coffee while searching for an alternate on Apple Maps. Well, well, well, I am glad I went here! First of all, the atmosphere was amazing. I love the warm toned lighting, the artwork, and even their stickers. The Bichon Frisé logo is adorable! Plus, they're dog friendly because there was a woman with her dog hanging out in there. They are pretty popular. I had no idea there was "hype" around this place. There was a long line, but the wait was worth it. I ordered the double matcha with banana cream. I never had a double matcha before. I was sold on getting matcha when I saw the "ceremonial grade" poster up front. I know, I know, why go to a coffee shop to order matcha, right? The drink turned out to be AMAZING. It was so rich and creamy. It was matcha heaven. Definitely a drink that I was savoring with small sips. I was hungry as well. This lead to me ordering the butter croissant and the spinach and feta one. I did not know what to expect. I was surprised that it was so dense, flakey, and delicious. I love the garlicky-ness in the feta and spinach croissant. You can definitely tell it wasn't a cheap Costco croissant. Then I checked the Yelp page after eating the food and saw the pastries are freshly made each day- well, that makes sense. Overall, if you're looking for an artisanal coffee/matcha drink I would recommend coming here. It'll be worth it!

I tried the iced flat white since their name is Flat White Coffee, but I think I would've enjoyed an iced latte more - the flat white was too strong for me and I think I needed more milk for it to taste better. Service was lackluster. But it's ok I would definitely come back and try again!

My chai tea latte was exceptionally good, very flavorfull and perfectly sweeten. The sitting area could use an update. The floors are peeling, the chairs are hard and uncomfortable. Not a place to hangout with friends or work. But if you need a good drink to go, its great.

Banana matcha is the order you want to make! The banana puree was not too overwhelming and complimented the matcha taste.

I tried their flat white coffee. It was good coffee but nothing spectacular. Apparently this is a popular place because on Sunday morning there were many people coming to pick up a coffee. Customer relations could be a little bit more friendlier. Limited seating is available inside. Clean restrooms and plenty of parking.

Always looking for any excuse to come by! Love this local shop with reasonable prices for high-quality drinks. Mango Cream Cold Brew was delicious, and the mango puree blended well with the cold brew. They use the Einspanner cream top, and it is yummy and of course fully dairy. The Spanish Latte did not blow me away like the other drinks, but I think my boyfriend liked it (he felt it was like a tasty horchata-inspired latte). It has condesned milk and cinnamon, which was tasty on my sample sip. Drinks came out promptly on a Sat morning, with at least 3 people working, and at least 3-4 people in the shop that morning. Will be back again!

Einspanner paired with a bacon and chive croissant

Flat White has been my go to coffee shop for when I'm feeling like getting a treat for my coffee. I always get an einspanner with oat milk - the coffee is always so smooth and the cream adds a nice balance to the strong coffee flavor. The cream is thick but not too sweet. Recently tried the bacon and chive croissant and I was pleasantly surprised! The croissant itself was light and flakey, then filled with bacon bits! If I'm looking for a savory pastry. The shop is cute and quaint but with a few tables inside and outside. Pro Tip: order online via the clover app, and skip the lines!

Hidden gem! My happy place because they have the bestest Mango Cold brew! Coffees and teas use high quality ingredients. Service is fast, spot is cute but I never stay too long. I'm just here for the goods!!

I quite enjoyed my banana matcha -- it's was really delicious and I'd totally get it again. Of the things we have tried we've enjoyed everything. Quick speedy service when we went on a Saturday afternoon. Plenty of parking and a few tables to chill at.

I loved the Einspanner! It's rich, decadent and the espresso is strong. Definitely would get again. The coffee shop is a small neighborhood cafe, with few seatings available. I went in a Friday afternoon and the place was pretty packed. There's plenty of parking.

Someone please explain to me why I always gravitate towards Biscoff Latte when I don't even really like biscoff??? Actually, it's not that I don't like it, it's just I don't eat biscoff cookies very often. I obviously like the flavor. Lol. I don't see it too often on a menu, so maybe that's why I feel like I need to order it when I do see it on the menu. Service was amazing. Very friendly and fast service and parking was easy to find.

    Melissa A.

This is me and my bfs go to coffee/matcha spot! I never was into matcha until I tried the banana matcha here and it changed my mind completely it's SO good!! The customer service is amazing and everyone that works there is very hard working trying to get the line out as quick as they can with the drinks still coming out amazing !! The place itself is really nice and cute if you ever need to study there they even provide you with their own wifi!

Yes we do. All espresso based drinks, ie Lattes, Flat White, Cappuccino, Americano, etc, can be made with decaf beans. Thank you.

There are some tables outside, not a big setup. Maybe 4 or 5.

Hi CT, sorry we currently don't have one, but we are working on it. We will definitely let everyone know once it's available. Thanks!

    Yes. 1 restroom.

I know banana isn't going to be everyone's cup of tea because it has such a distinct flavor, but I really love how they construct this drink. You can genuinely taste the banana, and I love that it seems like they use real banana rather than that artificial banana flavor you get at some other cafés. It makes such a difference! I've also tried their coffee, and it's really good! Their coffee has a nice, strong flavor and doesn't taste watered down at all. I feel like they're probably more known for their matcha, but their coffee definitely deserves some love too. I've tried matcha from a lot of different places, including spots in LA, and while everyone has their own preferences, if you're in the Orange County area, I would definitely recommend giving Coffee & a try. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but personally, this is one of my favorite cafés. It has that cute little hole-in-the-wall feeling where you find a place that you just want to keep coming back to. The service is also amazing! Everyone I've interacted with has been super nice and welcoming, which honestly makes the experience even better. As for the pastries, they're really good too! They'll warm them up for you, and they have the cutest cookies that look like little cartoon characters. They sometimes have seasonal cookies as well, which I think is such a cute touch. Overall, I really love how much personality this café has. If you're a matcha lover in OC, I definitely recommend stopping by and trying it for yourself!

This really fit the "woke up on the wrong side of the bed" vibe that we all tend to joke with our friends and family lol. Whew. Understood it's never personal, as we're all strangers, but those hostile, uninviting, bad energy really rubs off on people. Came in for a birthday cake 2 weeks ago and this came bagged up at the order pick up station; the same birthday cake I got today for another loved one didn't come bagged, so after the gal who took my order left for the next guest, I asked the cashier (she had on a different color shirt) for the very big bags they have and yep, same no energy, no smiles vibe. Management, please look out for your team, or find ways to relocate non-customer service people into departments where they don't have to deal with people/face to face interactions. I'm surprised they don't have self ordering kiosks, that'd help a lot of "stressed" employees who don't have the capacity to provide basic customer service and to alleviate a lot of uncomfortable, hostile interactions. Porto's is great- food, pastries, and cakes hardly ever miss. It's always the human interaction part that really messes it up for companies of all sorts. Nothing personal, just sharing my very uncomfortable experience, talk about being unwelcome. Hope those 2 girls end up having a better day and finding their energy and smiles. Actually, shout out to the gal stationed at the entryway, she smiled and said good morning, welcome, hello to everyone walking in. Keep up the great attitude, thank you!

Lately, Dubai chocolate cookies have been extremely popular and trendy, so I asked whether this bakery had them. They said yes, so I bought one for $6.75. However, when I tried it this morning, it was absolutely not a Dubai chocolate cookie. It was basically just a chocolate pie. There was no pistachio flavor at all, and no pistachios inside--just a very ordinary chocolate pie. That part was extremely disappointing. Also, yesterday I asked the bakery if they could provide paper plates so we could cut and share the pastries, but she said they didn't have any. After I realized that not all smoking tigers are the same- some have the fresh baked stuff and the others get it shipped in, it's worth the extra travel to go to the bread factories. I don't think it's fair to review the food since most of it rotates so much, BUT... that buttery flakey crust of the chicken pot pie literally made me want to eat 1000 of them in one sitting. Everything is good. Literally EVERYThING is delicious. Just make sure you ask them to warm it up. Cause who wants a room temp bread when you don't have to live like that. In the time it took to warm up my pot pie, I was able to ask my usual incessant questions which were all answered with super chill and friendly conversation. The people are really sweet and knowledgeable. Always a good experience here.

As a ex Italian barista, this was pulled from a previously used and dead shot. The color and even the flavor did not even resemble a Brazilian/Sumatra blend. Unacceptable, disgusting, and just a plain waste of my time and money. Shame on the women baristas there who were working the machines to do this. I wanted to give this place a try while I was in the area since we have one in Garden Grove. Unfortunately that was a mistake, but fortunately I know not to visit the GG one also.
